Story or History: Abheek was born under a oak tree overlooking a wet meadow, and rain was pouring down and never seemed to stop. Licking the pup down, his mother looked at this strange pup in awe. Almost immediately after being born, the little pup had opened his eyes and even stood up for a few seconds! This pup was sure to be strong and powerful like his father. His father was a police dog, and had met the pups mother while tracking down a mutt with foaming mouth disease.
The pup looked up into his mothers warm green eyes with a look of wonder, "Why are you so big momma?"
"Because dear, I am much older than you are!"
"Will I be as big and strong as you and daddy someday?" little Abheek questioned.
"Oh yes, but for now you must rest, for tomorrow we move into your fathers house" the mother responded.
"Ooooh I am so excited!" Abheek could not wait, and his tail pounded the ground, little did Abheek, his mother, or Father know, Abheek would never, ever reach the house the next day.......
