This Ancient is to never be sold once it is owned. No one is allowed to try and offer any sort of payment for it, if they do offer please refer them to the rules and give them a warning! Once an Ancient belongs to someone it is their's alone, and while comments are appreciated, offering payment is not. Believe me, no one else could offer what these people pay for their Ancients so try to be considerate of one of our main rules!

The tales of Ancients have been vast and filled with magic and mystery. You have heard of others obtaining rune stones and bonding with the Ancient dragons of old, but have yet to make your own bond. A very special rune stone has come into your possession, passed along to you by a young woman with a kind smile who gave instructions on how to call upon the great beast. Looking down at your stone a bright endless glow resonates from it's core and seems to carry a deep heartbeat within. It's warmth is intense and the heat feels as if it will begin to burn your skin, yet it never sears you once. Such an odd stone but with such great power held within, a single drop of the Ancient's blood was used to make this rune stone's symbol; if a single drop holds this much power, there is no telling how much the beast itself holds.
You have traveled to the farthest reaches of this earth, to a place uninhabited by people and open plains as far as the eyes can see. The tall stalks of grass ripple against the midnight winds like waves cast about an ocean of deep green. You were instructed to call upon the Ancient's true name, a name that only you would know, and only at the right time. You now bring the stone close to your heart. A faint whisper escapes your lips and the moment the words are uttered a burst of flames burst forth, breaking through the sound barrier overhead.
Stunned by the sound and force from above, you are flung back and cast to the ground in a bruised and battered heap. A loud ring is all you can hear; it slowly fades away and the world's sounds come rushing back to you. You look up as a bright light illuminates the night skies overhead. What appears to be a falling star comes rushing towards you from the heavens and all you can do is stare in awe as the shape becomes ever larger. Flames and unearthly embers almost blind you, as the form of an Ancient can soon be seen, and the fire that flowed from it's scales now dies down into an ever present glow. It comes to an abrupt landing before you, it's form is slender yet powerful, as if it was made for speed. It's horns angle upwards like a golden and elegant crown etched with designs of red. It's eyes are burning far too hot for any color as they appear a searing white-gold. It turns it's gaze down towards you as a deep yet echoed voice resonates around you both. The voice sounds of many talking at once, but you can not pinpoint it's true origin as it speaks 'Who dares summons me...' Terrified you stand up shakily and give a quick bow to this Ancient. "I did, oh great one. I-I called your true name but did not know what Ancient I would summon." The golden Ancient's eyes narrowed as it thrusted its head unexpectedly towards you, till you were but a hairline apart. ' I am the bringer of stars, and harbinger of their deaths. I blot out the suns too old to sustain themselves any longer and then call forth a new sun to takes it's place. No one dare calls me and especially not some unwittingly female summoner from earth.'
You are somewhat offended by this Ancient's attitude towards you but refuse to let it leave just yet as you bite back a retort before speaking "If I am so unbefitting of your presence than how come I was able to call you? They say only those worthy of an Ancient's bond can summon one forth." A deep laughter echoes all around you as the Ancient opens his mouth in a cocky grin. 'Ha! You are but a speck in this universe, your life insignificant to the many things that transpire outside of your Sol system. I have traveled across the far reaches of space devouring dying suns and calling forth anew. There are far more species out there just as sentient as you, yet your kind still lingers here on it's home planet in ignorance. You are but one solar system in a sea of many. Why should I care if one human knows how to summon me? You could not possibly comprehend the vast space of which I have bore witness.' You now stare up defiantly at this creature, its words were filled with things you could not understand, but you would be darned to have it stand there and laugh at you as you bite your bottom lip in anger. "Then show me! You believe yourself to be so omnipotent and powerful? Humans are much stronger than you believe. We don't give up, even if there is the slightest ray of hope. We would die in the millions just to see a future worth living for. We are the most stubborn things you will ever meet in the galaxy. We will never give up the fight, we stand for what we believe in, and I will not let even a rude and cocky Ancient, such as yourself, dare put me down for being who I am!" You stopped suddenly, realizing what you had just said. You had just talked back to a creature that could probably kill you with a blink of its eye, yet moments pass and the Ancient rune simply stares at you in contemplation. 'Perhaps I have misjudged you too soon.' He chuckles before standing his full length and peering down at you, 'Let us see what a human can do in this wide galaxy of ours. Make the pact and we shall travel the stars together on journeys that you can only imagine.'

Curious Writings wrote:Journal Entry #25-Study Notes-~Summoning Stone of the Sun- Rune stone is a circular shape with a bright golden rune carved into it. Passed the stone to it's new owner in hopes that they are able to summon the Ancient of the Suns.
~It is quite hard to impress but I could see that the young individual had a strong will. Perhaps they will even stand up to the Ancient, now that would be a sight to see!
~The Ancient Rune has many names; Sol, Amaterasu, Garuda, Apollo, Ra, etc...What its "true" name is, however, can only be known by it's summoner...
~Few sightings and records suggest that this Ancient travels through the galaxy, swallowing dying stars and calling forth new ones. Terrifying power indeed!
~A new suspicion has been growing in me as I study these Ancients. I just received a letter from that spirited individual that they were able to make a pact with the sun rune. I knew she could. She also said that the Ancient is able to take on the form of a human as well. A tall male, with golden hazel eyes and silky blond hair that seems to blaze in the sunlight. They say the Ancient may act like it's better than everyone, but they truly care deeply for one another and have become good friends. Something about speaking up to him and putting the rude man in his place?
Anyway, maybe this is the reason it has been so hard to find them lately. We assumed they had vanished when indeed they may have been among us all along...this will require more research on my part...
