Name:
Snivy.
Thentrem:
This fox faced bane can be quite vain. She tends to try and rhyme her words and confuse people, which just proves her meschiviuos wild side that she does not deny, nor does she admit.
Thentrem's name:
Camila
Thentrem's gender:
Female
Partners name:
Nicholas/Nick
Partners Personality:
Nick has always been dark and secretive, and most of the town's kids think him just short of a goth. He very well isn't, however, just likes to be alone a lot and wear dark clothes. In fact, he enjoys the town's rumours about him, and, lots of times, acts on them. Staying outside all day catching insects and in his room all night pinning them to his walls. He would always take them off the next day, and you could never find a hungry reptile in his backyard. He doesn't have many friends, the only one being a raven that has stayed around the house since he was little. He never opens up to any person, although there are plenty of girls that are desperately in love with him and who stalk him every time he comes out of his house. Nick realizes that they don't regard the rumours, but the only living organisms he'll spend time with are animals. Because animals always understand. Before he was a theriadi, his eyes were a light brown.
Partners History:
Right when he turned 18, Nick moved out of his parents' house and rented himself a little apartment. His school wasn't far away, but most of the time he didn't go because everyone else would treat him like yesterday's lunch. Except for the girls, but he didn't want to waste time with them. They were too, well, girly. And not to mention the fact that the theriadi trusted him as far as they could throw him, and bullied him--hard. He was envious of the theriadi, not because they were complete jerks, but because of their thentrems. Each one was powerful and big, but there was a disadvantage: they were all Dires. Still, Nick spent most of his time in his apartment, sketching disturbing drawings or playing disturbing try-to-save-the-world-from-a-zombie-apocalypse video games (for the townspeoples' sake. They love their gossip!). It actually wasn't that bad. But there was always this bane around now, stalking him, skulking aroung his apartment complex.
How did they meet:
Nick woke up, getting a slight headache from his alarm clock buzzing. He got up, blinking as his eyes adjusted in the bright sunlight. He had just walked out of his bedroom when he tripped on something hard and pointed. He winced as his bare chest hit the floor. He looked back and saw what he had tripped on. It was a book about the animal kingdom. He was supposed to study with it for a test. He never did. He looked over at the window and saw the trees moving.
"Those stupid girls." Nick muttered. He went back into his bedroom and got dressed. He was certain the girls were watching him. It wasn't embarrassing, even considering he was only in his boxers, it was just irritating. Oh, well, Nick thought. He had decided to go to school that day. The girls were really getting on his nerves, so he would grant their wish. Once.
He had just gotten to the courtyard when he ran into the theriadi.
"Oi. Just what I need." he muttered under his breath.
"Hey, look, it's Halloween!" One yelled. That was a new nickname. Nick rolled his eyes.
"Y'know, I'd really appreciate it if you shut up and let me get to class." He said, looking them straight in the eyes.
"Yeah, we'd love to, but we can't. You know what we have to do when you get back." The lead one said, then pointed at Nick. All three Dires came rushing towards him, growling and claws extended. The beating came, scratching, tearing, biting. It hurt, but didn't last long. Somehow, the weight of the Dires was lifted off of him, one by one. He opened his eyes for a second and saw the bane! She had saved him. He had to close his eyes again, for there was a burning sensation, like when your eyes dry out, but worse. Plus, his wounds stung. Then he knew: he was bonded. The bane had chosen him as her partner. She stood protectively in front of him, growling, as the Dires backed away. When they had gone, Nick looked at her.
"Camila is my name. Yours, my friend?" She had a soft voice, like a quiet, flowing stream, that comforted him. She also spoke with a faint accent. Nick guessed it was Russian.
"Nick." He said. He was still bewildered about this whole thing. She nodded.
"Nick. You seemed a suiting partner."
"I did?"
"Yes. Do they do that all the time? Or from time to time? Or is it the first time?" She asked.
"Um, all the time."
"I came at the right time, then!" She laughed. Nick nodded, smiling.
