A little about them:
Theriadi(Thair-a-die): translates to soul bonded. The Theriadi are not one species in particular, they are actually the pairing of a canine like creature to a human or humanoid. The canine species can be called many things depending on their apperance and skills, but in general they are called the thentrem(Th-n-tre-m). No one can really say who the thentrem will pick for a partner, but it has been proven that all who have been chosen have accomplished tremendous feats; however, said feats may not be necessarily be good...

At the time a thentrem chooses its partner, the humans eyes will have a specific and severe reaction to the thentrem as they turn colors, sometimes it's an intense burning sensation, or thier eyes severely watering.

-Please remember that the Theriadi are TWO characters, not just one, so you will have to keep track of them both.
-It has yet to be decided how many Theriadi one person can have.
-A thentrem doesn't always bond with the same gender, infact it's more common that the thentrem and it's partner will be of opposite genders.

The Thentrems:
Glade. This thentrem is very protective, he tends to have a habit of wanting to defy the laws. He won't back down easily from a fight. He is a Dire. Note: This thentrem is not for adoption!
This thentrem has a habit of wanting to climb to high places, even when it could mean big trouble. Not to mention that being a Dire results in not being able to climb too far up trees lest it fall or break the limb.

This cat faced thentrem is one of the banes. He tends to like "borrowing" human items. He sometimes blames his horns for "accedental" borrowing. Note: This male has one blue(right) eye and one brown(Left).

This thentrem's name is Silvano, his chosen partner is Raelyn
The other thentrems seem to honor this one. It seems to hold a noble stance even for being the stature of a wolf. It would take a strong partner to change this rule keeper to a rulebreaker.

This fox faced bane can be quite vain. She tends to try and rhyme her words and confuse people, which just proves her meschiviuos wild side that she does not deny, nor does she admit.

This thentrem's name is Camila, her chosen partner is Nicholas/Nick
This dragonsbane has earned the fitting nickname of the silver horned devil. It tends to keep to the darker side of the thentrem and cause fights whenever it sees fit. It will take a brave partner to sway its shadowed soul.

Partners Personality: Collin has always been slightly distached and aloof. He never really tries to open up to people, but he does eventually, and when he does you know you've found a faithful freind.
Partners History: At the age of five Collin found himself as an orphan, his parents had been killed in the war like somany others. He was sent to the clyrics and in their temple he met Bayilla(Illa). They quickly became friends. At the age of 18 Illa became a theriadi and soul bonded with a dragonsbane named Bayden. Bayden didn't approve of Collin, and began to try and create a rift between him and Illa, but it didn't work. Now six years later, at the age of 24, Collin finds himself being soul bonded to a thentrem named Glade. Before he became a theriadi Collin had Grey-blue eyes.
How did they meet: Collin ran through the forest weaving between the trees. He wasn't sure exactly what happened, but he knew that he was being chased by an angry thentrem and his partner. Collin tripped on a root and before he stood up the thentrem was on him, he didn't even have enough time to defend himself. The thentrem had luanced itself right for his throat, but it never got there. Collin had closed his eyes, they burned, searing heat forced him to close his eyes. He heard voices but couldn't understand them, and then nothing. When he opened his eyes the world seemed clearer, the theriadi stood gaping, the thentrems ears pinned back. The other thentrem stood before Collin snarling. It had claimed him as his partner.

Yes. You may use color ins, photoshop, or any other art/design program as long as you give credit where credit is due.
Can we commission other artists?
Yes, as long as you give credit where credit is due. Also if you do not win the thentrem the art must be given to the winner. (In other words no art theft...)

It's not really known when or how the Thentrem develope speech seeing as though they are rarely seen unless they are part of a Theriadi.

Yes. All Theriadi can communicate with each other, as long as they want to. The thentrem prefer to speak through their minds, but most can speak normally as their human partners can.
