Reason why you want to adopt it:I just want one. She's gorgeous, she reminds me of apple blossoms. {by the way, I may not have the right kidn of flower/blossom}
Desired name:Rubella {she's known as Rue}
Personality:This little girl is deeply obsessed with technology, If she is not cranking out a new invention, architectural piece, or sculpture then she can be found slaving over a sheet of parchment designing something spectacular. In a way she is the "Leonardo Da Vinci" of the daeet world. She's not a daeet of many words, and was believed to be mute until a fully fledged adult, yet it is still very rare for one to hear her voice. She likes her surroundings to be quiet, and secluded, were no one can find her, and she can get lost in her thoughts alone, and with out interference. Even so, those who have been able to break her unusually shy, exterior, have found that she is a very sweet, if not sincere soul.
Event: Rue was sitting alone in a clearing. This part of the forest was filled with old pine trees with branches that were so delicated they could crumble away with the slightest touch. She was working on a new sculpture, and she wanted to incorporate the element of fire into it. She glanced up and saw the sun was starting to set.
Not much time until the sun goes down. she thought to herself. Rue heard something behind her, and whirled around to see if anyone was coming. The last thing she wanted rigth now was for her work to be interupted. When nothing appeared, she shrugged it off and went back to work. Eventually she had finished setting up teh sculpture. All she needed was fire. The sculpture was a towering, intricate design of large, flat stones and strong branches. There were three, bowl-shaped rocks placed at different hieghts. The tallest part stood as tall as a male daeet, and was just in Rue's reach. Each was filled with the pine branches she had collected from this part of the forest. She looked back up at the sun, and when she saw how low it hung in the sky she jumped in anxiety.
I need to hurry!Rue bounded over to an area on the edge of the clearing. There sat some more pine branches. One end was in the center, while the other end of the branches were pointed out and resting on black, magnetic, rocks. Above it hovered a large peice of glass, ringed with small magnets. The magnets repelled one another, making it so the glass hoved above the branches. Rue sat and waited patiently, but she was still excited and anxious, and it somewhat showed. As the setting sun's rays fell on the glass, they were magnified onto the branches, setting them ablaze. She leaped to her paws and quickly pushed the glass out of the way. It fall out of the magnetic field of the rocks then fell to the ground, shattering into thousands of shining pieces. She ignored it and grabbed one of the branch by the non-flaming end. Rue quickly went over to the sculpture and set the lowest bowl of pine branches on fire then dropped the ranch in the bowl. She went back over and repeated the process until all three bowls were flaming. Now the sun had disappeared, and the flames illuminated the otherwise dark clearing. She stepped back, sat down, and watched as the golden-orange flames licked the darkening sky. Then she heard it. A snapping sound, It grew louder and louder until it sounded like something was crashing through the pine trees. She whirled around and was sure the object was hurtiling towards the clearing- towards
her. Rue backed up, wanting to run, but she didn't know which way to go. The sound was growing louder and she was starting to panic. Now she could see the branches shaking in the dim light of the fire.
Then he appeared. A large, black daeet. She hadn't seen him before, but just his presence made her feel likes he was rolling in snow. "Rubella?" the male asked. Rue nodded warily. "Come with me Rue. Your goign to help me make something." The male had an evil smirk on his face and the mischevious flash in his eyes glinted like the piercings on his ear. This male stumped Rue. He was definately up to no good, and since he was phiscally superior, being a male, she didn't want to get tangled up with him. He seemed hostile, unlike the male daeets she's met. Him having piercings, and still having a black pelt color. Most males she knew that had pierced ears have "warmer" pelt colors. He seemed to dify everyingthing she knew about other daeets. Rue shook her head. "What? You can't just- you can't just say "no"!" The male snarled, baffled by her diffiance. She wanted to escape, not wanting to refuse, but she knew he'd catch he run a heartbeat. He then lunged at her, but she leaped back just in time. Rue let out a yelp as she rammed into her sculpture. She scrambled to her paws once she hit the ground, and watched as her destroyed work fell. She looked up at the male when she smelled burning fur. The top must have toppled onto him, because some of his fur was burning. He shook a few sticks and rocks off hsi head and back. Henlooked at his singing fur, up at Rue, then turned tail and ran. As she stood there, panting, watching the way the male daeet disappeared, Rue knew she hadn't see the last of him. As questions swirled in her head one popped out.
What did he want me to build?This is still some what of a Work In Progress, but it's ready for judging. I may make changes, btu I don't see any at the moment.
