How I will Care for Avalon:
Well, she's absolutely gorgeous.
I tend to be drawn toward
bright, colorful characters that
make you want to look at them.
Avalon is a perfect example of
this, just a tad more muted,
which I like. I think I have
enough neon characters for
now. But I love how easily
muse came to me, just by
looking at her. Quite a feat,
seeing as I have been fighting
constant writer's block since
school started. It will end
in less than a week.
Anyway, if I have the massive
honor of recieving Avalon as my
own, the first thing I will do is
show her off to my close friends
and rolemodels in the adoption
world. Just to make them jealous.
(xD) Proceeding that, I will go find
her a cozy spot in my character
thread (whose link I have yet to
add to my signature) and get her
settled in there. Once she's all snug
in her own little post, Avalon shall
be showered in artwork. I hope that
she'll be the one to be featured in
the first artwork I buy from the amazing
TWG90. Artwork finished, I'll try to
relax a bit and focus on possibly
finding Avalon a mate, maybe make
a few deals to breed her. You never
do know, do you? I may even donate
some of the puppies here so I can
share her loveliness. (xD)
Personality:
[ Reckless ]
Avalon is anything but cautious. She is wild and untameable with a rebellious streak and a heart of gold. Ava isn't the kind of reckless where she gets herself in trouble all the time, or her friends' parents warn them to avoid her, but she merely acts without thinking. Yes, Avalon does tend to wind up in a bit of a bind sometimes. But more often than not, it'll be because she said the first thing that came to her mind. Ava has a lack of filter, so whatever she thinks is what she says and that doesn't always turn out too well.
[ Loving ]
Ava is the sweetest, most loveable girl anyone could ever lay their eyes on. She always- always- puts herself in front of her friends. Avalon's motto? Kill 'em with kindness. And that she does. Ask anyone who's held a conversation with her; they'll tell you. Ava did nothing but make compliments and speak civilly. If she didn't agree with something, she would find a way to tell you kindly without ever making you think she didn't like you. Because Avalon likes everyone. That is, unless you ive her a very good reason not to. Sure, there are a few unlucky individuals who rubbed Ava the wrong way until she snapped and let a mean word escape her jaws. But there aren't many. Because Avalon loves having friends, and she dislikes disliking.
[ Fearless ]
Despite worrying about the petty things a normal teenage fae would, like if this brute notices her or if her pelt looks sleek enough, Avalon is otherwise without a fear. She will easily put herself before another to protect them. No questions asked. She doesn't care about what will happen or what the consquences will be. Ava just does it. And a lot of individuals find that pretty admirable. But, being fearless isn't always such a great thing for Avalon. She is also unafraid to try things that will no doubt get her in trouble, thus she does them, and ends up in major trouble or worse because of it. Oh, well, better to remember one for the good rather than the bad, right?
[ Captivating ]
While brutes don't particularly adore her stubborn, rash physique, Ava is quite a little charmer. She has no trouble getting noticed by brutes (what, with being pink and orange and holding the power of the stars in her paws), and keeping them requires just as little effort. Anyway, her personality is beautiful without her pretty face. Avalon's no-fear attitude and her sweet physique combined make her wonderful company, and even more wonderful a friend. Beside her inner beauty, Ava is quite the little looker. The sunset pink and the citrus orange go along together nicely with her bright green eyes and off-white under coat. Also, she's very fit. Lean and the feminine kind of muscular, along with perfectly groomed fur that is never matted or dirty (Ava cannot stand the feeling of dirt), faes had better hold on to their boys whenever Avalon's around! Oh, but she'd never even dream about stealing someone's mate. What a terrible thing to do!
[ Intellectual ]
If Avalon is anything, she's smart. Really smart. Although she may seem a bit ditzy at times, a bit air-headed at others, a bit clumsy at further more, she really does have brains. Lots of 'em. And Avalon thinks differently. Her mind is wired in an entricate way. Ava sees things that may be a blessing as a curse, and sees things that others call a curse a blessing. It's a bit strange. But, then again, Avalon is a bit strange.

Story:
I live in a world where anything goes. Where the men and women are ruled by kings and queens but the kings and queens are ruled by gods and goddesses. Where dragons and unicorns alike roam the streets, where everything you have ever imagined has been a reality. Where a god may have an affair with a dragon in her human form, and that dragon may have a daughter that may shapeshift into her father's honored animal (a wolf, in this case) and eventually bare a baby. That's a true story, actually. And that baby, it seems, is me. Avalon the Star-Pelted, certified and seasoned star-spinner, at your service. And what may be a star-spinner, you ask? Star-spinners do as their occupation suggests: We spin the stars into shapes and make them move. Like theatre, some say. But not quite as boring.
I descend from the god Zephyron, god of love. Ironic, seeing as how any and every realationship I've ever been involved with has ended terribly. I don't seem to have my grandfather on my side. But I'm sure I do. He must be waiting for the perfect brute to come along. I'm working on it.
Speaking of a perfect brute . . . Here comes Booker. He walks past and flashes a smile my way before continuing on to meet a couple of his friends. Together, they join a group on the crest of the hill and settle down to watch the show. It's my shift to entertain Averyn, a small, remote kingdom. I hate working Averyn. I always get so distracted. By what? Simple. Booker. Here, let me explain. Booker is gorgeous. He, too, descends from a god. Well, a goddess. No surprise, this goddess is Valia, the goddess of beauty. Booker lives up to her expectations for a relative, surely. Big, muscular but balanced out, with clear blue eyes and a pelt darker than night. Designs of grey and dark blue wind throughout his coat. He is much more noticeable than me, just because of his looks, which is saying something. I'm bright orange and pink with stars on my fur. The stars is why I was forced by my mother to be a star-spinner. Apperently, I was born for it. Frankly, I'm terrible at it, even without Booker around.
I sigh, shake out my fur, and make a point not to look over at the descendant of Valia as I climb the cliff above the Sea of Cascades - the closest point to the stars in Averyn - to prepare for my performance. Tonight, I'm illustrating the brief but interesting affair of Queen Callise of Averyn and the god Wright. It's an interesting tale and is the reason that Averyn is the home of most creatures with godly aura in the veins.
I range out my voice and narrate the beginning of the story, which does not need stars. "Gather round, young ones, for the story of your kingdom, for the reason of your living here. The story of the first queen of Averyn and the god of war, Wright. Listen closely, and watch even more, for even Wright's fellow gods and goddesses cannot fathom the true passion between a mere woman, without even the ability to shape-shift, and a god. A god of war, to further confuse." The stars turn into my version of Callise, tall and slender and stunning, although the story claims she wasn't horrible to look at but was far surpassed by just seamstresses and the like in the villages. "The two met here, on the very cliff that I now stand on."
