Realm of the Rah'liani Roleplay (ACCEPTING)

Generations ago on the world of Sprig, there lived many magnificent creatures known as Rah'liani. These creatures were very similar to wolves in their appearance and behavior, but they had some differences. The Ignis, or Fire, had pointed ears like their wolf cousins and long tails that tapered to a rounded point at the end, which was engulfed in flames. The Aqua, or Water, had ears that were partially flopped over and tails that endulated like ocean waves. The Terra, or Earth, had completely floppy ears and short, bobbed tails. The Aeris, or Air, had long, skinny ears, fluffier chest fur, and tails similar to their wolf cousins but for the fact that they ended in soft feathers.

In the beginning, Rah'liani traveled together in mating pairs or very small families. This wasn't always ideal when the Rah'liani came across larger predators and had to fight. Often times one or both of the parents would die, leaving their pups with only one parent or no parents at all. The mortality rate of pups was very low due to predators taking them, the pups eating poisonous plants, or other accidents that resulted in the death of the pups.

One pair of mates, named Jianna and Obold, lost all of their pups to a bear they had not been able to fend off. Distraught after the event, they vowed that something needed to be done to prevent this from happening in the future. After many days of deliberation, they finally came up with an idea - to bring together numerous small family packs to create one, huge pack. They began to spread the word about their idea, telling it to all of the other Rah'liani they met.

Months passed and a large number of families, some with both parents intact and others with single parents caring for their pups, came together to see if Jianna and Obold's idea could actually work. During this time, Jianna and Obold had been fine-tuning their idea and had come up with ideas on how the large pack could work. They came up with the hierarchy, or rank system, and implemented it. It was obvious from the very start that it would work. Thus began the first ever large family pack of Rah'laini, called the Celestial Harmony Pack.

However, despite the peace the Rah'liani found in Celestial Harmony, there were Rah'liani out there who disagreed with this approach. They believed that independence was greater than cooperation and that things didn't need to change because it had been like this since the beginning of time. These Rah'liani, who were later deemed loners by the members of Celestial Harmony, would trespess on the pack's territory to steal prey and put down their own scent marks. Over the years, the loners continued to taunt the pack, trespess on their territory, and fight with them over prey and land.

As generations passed, families joined and left Celestial Harmony as they pleased. Eventually, the current Alphas, named Neesa and Hoi, realized that their gigantic pack was too large for their territory. They knew that just over the mountains in the distance, there were hills and plains where very few Rah'liani lived. After discussing it with the pack, an agreement was made - part of the Celestial Harmony pack would split off and journey to the plains to make a home there. The two packs would then call themselves the Moon Pack and the Sun Pack, since these were Celestial bodies.

Despite the agreement, very few families left the pack to journey to the plains and become the Sun Pack. The Beta male, named Wess, and the Beta female, named Reita, became the Alphas of the Sun Pack. Their old Alphas, Neesa and Hoi, told them that they wanted peace to continue between them and that if the Sun Pack ever needed help from the Moon Pack, they just needed to say the word. Wess and Reita agreed to this offer. They also agreed to meet once a month in the mountains, during the full moon, to exchange news and howl a song together to honor that they were once one pack. The Ally Era, as it would later be called, did not last as long as it could have.

A few years after the split, the Sun Pack began to accept loners into their ranks because their numbers were dwindling too much due to sickness. As more loners were accepted into the Sun Pack, they began to cloud the judgment of the new Alphas, Turne and Firtha. The loners convinced them that independence was more important than cooperation, so that at one of the monthly meetings, Turne announced that the time of alliance was over - the Sun Pack did not need the help of the Moon Pack any longer, and they could take care of themselves from now on. The Alphas of the Moon Pack were upset to hear this, but not as upset when war broke out between the two packs.

Eventually, things settled down once again, but the packs had new names once more. The Moon Pack became the Tranquil Moon Pack, because they had always firmly believed in peace, and the Sun Pack became the Turbulent Sun Pack because they had brought war upon the packs after having lived in peace for so long. The packs agreed to continue their monthly meetings, which they now called The Celestial Harmony Meetings, or The Harmony for short, in honor of their pack from long ago.

Today, the two packs continue to meet once a month, in a truce, to share news and howl at the moon together. They guard their territories jealously, chasing off any loner or enemy pack members. Scouts are the only Rah'liani still allowed to cross the territory borders, and only if they have a message for an Alpha. Occasional battles happen if a patrol of enemy pack members is discovered on the wrong territory, but there hasn't been an actual war for many generations. Things in the Tranquil Moon Pack are as tranquil as ever, while the Turbulent Sun Pack has occasional problems between members descended from full pack members and those descended from loners that joined the pack.

Yet while things seem okay between the packs, things have escalated between the packs and the loners that roam the lands. The loners, who still disagree with the formation of the packs, have begun to notice that the packs have been expanding their territories, little by little. Unbeknownst to the packs, the loners have started to come together to form bands and make plans to take down the packs - once and for all. There are whispers of a prophecy, given to the Healers of both the Moons and Suns, but none of the lower ranked wolves know if these rumors are true or what the prophecy could possibly be about.

What will happen when the packs realize what the loners are planning?

Is there really a prophecy, and if there is . . . what is it about?

Where will your Rah'liani stand in all of this? Will they side with the packs or the loners?

Choose carefully, for your decisions could change everything!

Current Plot, Season & Weather, Mates & Crushes

The stars sit in wait on the horizon, scattered and neglected.
An eclipse must be made, or else both moon and sun will fall from the sky.
End the neglect and peace will return to the forests and hills.

A prophecy has been given to the Healers of the Tranquil Moon and Turbulent Sun packs. They have only told their Alphas of this prophecy, but there are rumors flying through both packs that there is a prophecy. However, none of the lower ranked wolves know what the prophecy is about, but there is speculation that it could have something to do with the loners.

In Tranquil Moon Pack, things are just as calm and peaceful as they usually are. Pack members go about their duties. They discuss the rumor of the prophecy in whispers, speculating whether there actually is a prophecy, what it is about, and whether their Alphas will tell them about it. There are more disputes than usual with loners crossing their territory, but other than that things are normal.

In Turbulent Sun Pack, things are not as calm. Since the pack is having more trouble with loners recently, the pack members who are descended from loners are being teased, taunted, and basically treated badly by their packmates who are descended from full pack members. The loner descendents are either taking these taunts in stride or letting it get to them. Some of them may even be considering leaving the pack and joining the loners, just to get away from the mistreatment. As for the rumor of the prophecy, the pack members discuss it in whispers, speculating whether there actually is a prophecy, what it is about, and whether their Alphas will tell them about it.

The roleplay starts off on a normal day. Pack members are going about their usual duties.

Introducing the Rah'liani

Common Name: Rah'liani

Pronunciation: raw - lee - aww - knee

Scientific Name: Lupus elementum

Singular/Plural Form: Rah'liani

Size and Weight

Rah'liani males are larger than females. Males can reach up to 3 feet tall at their shoulder and weigh anywhere from 200 to 250 pounds. Females can reach up to 2 feet at their shoulder and weigh anywhere from a 100 to a 150 pounds. Pups are anywhere from half a foot to a foot tall and weigh between 25 and 50 pounds. Not all Rah'liani will adhere to this size. Some may be smaller and others larger.

Litter Size and Pup Raising

Litters of Rah'liani typically have one to three pups, but occasionally they can have four or five. Pregnant females will find a den not long before having their pups. If the pair isn't part of a pack, the female Rah'liani and her mate will raise the pups in the den until the pups are old enough to hunt. Once the pups are old enough to hunt, the parents will start to take their pups further and further from the den. Male Rah'liani will usually bring their mates food during this time, since the female Rah'liani don't want to leave their pups. If the pair is part of a pack, the female Rah'liani will be aided in the care of her pups by Pupsitters.

Diet

Rah'liani are mostly carnivores. They aren't all that picky and will hunt whatever prey is closest to them. Common animals they prey on are deer, elk, rabbits, fish, birds, squirrels, and other rodents. They're also known to eat berries and the occasional carrion, though they try to stay away from eating carrion if they can help it because eating carrion is seen as a sign of weakness.

Specific types of prey that can be found in the roleplay: white-tailed deer, elk, Black Jackrabbit, Brown Hare, salmon, trout, wood thrush, pigeon, blue jay, common blackbird, Ring-necked Duck, Mallard Duck, California Quail, Wild Turkey, Western Gray Squirrel, Red Squirrels, Californian Ground Squirrel, field mice, and rats.

Lifespan

Rah'liani can reach up to twenty-years-old, but this is rare. Most will reach the age of ten to sixteen years. From birth until they are one year old, Rah'liani are considered to be toddlers. Rah'liani pups grow at the same rate as wolves. The chart below shows the rate at which pups grow. When they reach a year old, they will usually be finished with their training and have their Rank Ritual. From one to five years, they are teenagers (or young adults). From five to ten years, they are adults (or middle aged). From ten to twenty years, they are seniors and should be Elders.

Pup Growth Rate
10 - 13 days: the eyes open for the first time
3 weeks: milk teeth appear; start to explore the den
4 - 5 weeks: short trips outside den; begin to eat pup meat
6 weeks: may leave the camp with adults
6 - 8 weeks: completely weaned from milk; eat fresh meat
13 weeks: are given a mentor; their future rank is determined
15 - 28 weeks: milk teeth are replaced with adult teeth
7 - 8 months: learn to hunt with pack, no matter what rank
12 months: finish training; are no longer Subordinate

Pack Ranks and Their Responsibilities

Alpha Male and Female
The Alphas are mates and the highest ranked in the pack.
Their word is the law. Those who go against the Alphas' word will be punished.
Their oldest son, considered a third alpha, is ranked directly beneath them.
He will be the one to take over leadership of the pack when the current leaders cannot.
If the pair have no offspring, there is no third alpha.

Beta Male and Female
The Betas are the second in command, so they're second highest ranked.
When the leaders are away, the Betas act as leader.
The Betas don't necessarily have to be mates.

Healer
The Healer is the wolf who has vast knowledge about herbs and plants.
They use this knowledge to heal wounds and sickness in the pack.
Healers are highly respected and revered for their knowledge.
It would not be wise to refuse help or suggestions from a Healer.

Elders
Elders are the old and sick Rah'liani who cannot feed or take care
of themselves because of their old age. They often complain, loudly.
Subordinates are expected to bring food to and generally help the Elders.

Sentinels
Sentinels are the ones who patrol the territory, mark it, and chase away invaders.
They are basically the soldiers of the pack and are always first to fight.

Hunters
Hunters are the ones who do the most hunting. They are allowed to eat while hunting,
but only certain parts of prey and only enough so that they have the strength to hunt.
They will often be joined by other members of the pack, especially when hunting large prey.

Scouts
Scouts are the messengers, or liasons, between rival packs and will help hunt when not out scouting.
Occasionally, Scouts are asked to help the Sentinels patrol the borders and mark territory.

Pupsitters
Pupsitters are the ones who watch over the pups, especially when the rest of the pack is away.
They will watch over milking pups so a mother can stretch her legs, as well as watch older pups.
They are also midwives to pregnant Rah'liani and help during the birthing of pups.

Subordinates
Subordinates are unranked. They are usually pups or a stranger who was recently welcomed into the pack.
When a pup reaches three months old, the Alphas will hold a ceremony and give the pup a mentor.
Whatever rank the mentor is, that is the rank the pup will someday join, after it is trained by its mentor.
Pups remain Subordinates until their ceremony into full rank. At that time, they are no longer a Subordinate.

The Celestial Harmony Meeting
- also known simply as The Harmony -

Once a month, during the full moon, the Tranquil Night Pack and the Turbulent Sun Pack gather together in the Stillicidium Mountains to share news and howl at the full moon together. During this meeting, there is a truce between the packs. The reason they hold these meetings is to honor the fact that the two packs used to be one, large pack (Celestial Harmony Pack) generations ago. I will be announcing in the roleplay when The Harmony will be.

Spirit Pack - The Rah'liani Ancestors

Spirit Pack is where Rah'liani go when they die. All Rah'liani from the Tranquil Moon and Turbulent Sun are welcome in Spirit Pack. The Rah'liani in Spirit Pack watch over the living Rah'liani in the two packs and guide them with prophecies and earthly omens, such as rotten meat in the meat pile. Sometimes when bonds are strong enough between two Rah'liani, a Rah'liani in Spirit Pack can visit the dreams of a living Rah'liani or appear to them as ghostly apparitions. The Rah'liani in the Tranquil Moon and Turbulent Sun packs will often pray to Spirit Pack or say things like, "Oh, great Spirit Pack! That's a ridiculous idea!" and "Spirit Pack only knows when he'll be back!"
Pack Rituals

Rituals are led by the Alphas of a pack. The rituals are when a Subordinate is given a mentor (called the Mentor Ritual), when a Subordinate finishes training and enters their new rank (called the Rank Ritual), and when a new Beta is chosen because something happened to the old (called the Beta Ritual). There is also a ritual for when a new Alpha is accepted by Spirit Pack, but that ritual is only known to those Rah'liani who have become Alpha.

Mentor Ritual

When a Subordinate is given a mentor, the Alpha calls the Subordinate forward and says,
"Name of Subordinate, you have reached the age where you can begin your journey into the ranks of Name of Pack. After thoughtful consideration, I have decided that Name of Rah'liani will be your mentor. Name of Mentor, do you accept the responsibility of training Name of Subordinate? (The mentor replies, "Yes, Alpha. I accept the responsibility.") Then it will be so. May Spirit Pack guide your paws."

The Alpha will then nod their head to both mentor and Subordinate. The Subordinate must then roll onto their back and show their belly to their new mentor, to show submission. The mentor will touch their nose their new tenderfoot's chest, ending the ceremony.

Rank Ritual

When a Subordinate is finished training and enters their new rank, the Alpha calls the Subordinate forward and says,
"Name of Subordinate, you have finished your training under the guide of your mentor, Name of Mentor. Name of Mentor, is this tenderfoot ready to begin his/her new responsibility as a Rank? (The mentor replies, "Yes, Alpha. This tenderfoot is ready to begin his/her new responsibility as a Rank.") Then it will be so. May Spirit Pack guide your paws in your new responsibility, Name of Newly Ranked Rah'liani

The newly ranked Rah'liani will bow their head to the Alpha, who will then lick the Rah'liani's forehead as a sign of their acceptance into the new rank.

Beta Ritual

When a new Beta is chosen because the old Beta died, the Alpha will say,
"The pack mourns the loss of Name of Dead Beta. May he/she find peace and comfort in Spirit Pack. Their time as Beta has ended, so it is time for a new beginning. After thoughtful consideration, I have decided that Name of Rah'liani will be the new Beta. The entire pack hopes that Name of Dead Beta will watch over you in your new responsibilities."

When a new Beta is chosen because the old Beta retired to life as an Elder, the Alpha will say,
"The pack thanks Name of Old Beta for their service as Beta. May he/she find peace and comfort as an Elder. Their time as Beta has ended, so it is time for a new beginning. After thoughtful consideration, I have decided that Name of Rah'liani will be the new Beta. The entire pack hopes that Name of Old Beta will guide you in your new responsibilities as they enjoy their life as an Elder."

The new Beta will bow their head to the Alpha, who will then lick the Rah'liani's forehead as a sign of their acceptance into the new rank.

I got a lot of the ideas for this from the Warriors cat series written by Erin Hunter. The ideas have been modified slightly to fit.

Character Form

Postby rainbowpanda101 » Tue May 08, 2012 8:15 am

Image
Pleased read the following:

You are allowed to have up to four characters. One must be in Tranquil Moon Pack, one in Turbulent Sun Pack, and the other two may be loners. This is to try and maintain an equal amount of roleplaying characters in both packs, so that one pack doesn't get roleplayed more often than the other. If I notice there are too many in one pack or there are too many loners, I will deny characters in certain packs or deny loners until everything is closer to equal again. Please respect my decision regarding this. Thank you.

Whatever pack your Rah'liani are in currently (meaning whatever they listed as in the Archives) has nothing to do with this roleplay. Their rank has nothing to do with this roleplay. You can have a Scout become a Beta in the roleplay, if you so choose. You can take a Rah'liani loyal to your created pack and make them a nasty loner on here. It's totally up to you. Small family packs are allowed, but your Rah'liani should really be in either one of the large packs or a loner in order to take advantage of the current plot. Small family packs are probably not going to be affected by what is going on in the plot. So just keep that in mind. Thanks!

PM FORMS TO RAINBOWPANDA101, DO NOT POST IN THREAD. Thank you! ^_^

ATTENTION!!!

Pups are needed for both of the packs! If you have any Rah'liani you aren't planning on using as a character and are willing to let everyone roleplay them as NPC (non-player character) pups in the packs, please notify rainbowpanda101 by PM. Their parents will be decided by rainbowpanda101 and ~*Shion*~ after they are accepted as NPCs.

Why are pups NPCs? The main reason is that I'm not sure how many people are going to join or how many Rah'liani we'll actually have in the roleplay. Having pups available for everyone to roleplay makes it so that the other ranks are what is available and people aren't tempted to make a bunch of yappy puppy characters.

Tranquil Moon Pack Characters

Postby rainbowpanda101 » Tue May 08, 2012 8:17 am

Alpha Male
Perry
Played By: rainbowpanda101
Gender: male
Age: 7 years
Theme Song (optional): click

Personality: Perry is a fiercely loyal and devoted Alpha, to both his mate and his entire pack. He's a dreamer with his head in the clouds, but that doesn't stop him from being a kind and courteous Alpha. He would rather talk out a problem than fight, which makes him a great leader for the Tranquil Moon Pack. However, don't let his peaceful nature fool you! He is a formidable opponent in battle. But he was injured by a bear attack before he became Alpha, so his left back leg is a sore spot, and he will favor the leg during a fight. He easily forgives and forgets, he is very understanding, and he is overly trusting. While that may sound like a good thing, it can have its faults - if he forgives or trusts the wrong Rah'liani it could mean trouble for him or his pack!
History (optional): Perry was born and raised in the Tranquil Moon Pack. He was trained as a Sentinel, so he was responsible for patrolling the borders of the pack's territory, scent marking it, and fighting off intruders. When he was three-years-old, a bear attacked his patrol. Perry fought valiantly, but the bear clawed his across his left back leg. Today, he favors the injury while fighting, and it sometimes pains him enough that he requests herbs to lessen the pain.
Other: nothing else currently

Alpha Female
Aubrey
Played By: rainbowpanda101
Gender: female
Age: 6 years
Theme Song (optional): click

Personality: Aubrey is a very happy Rah'liani. She loves to cheer up others and make them happy, as well. She's extremely lovable, and she has an overly bubbly personality and a kind and generous heart. Aubrey cannot bear to see one of her packmates unhappy or in pain. The truth behind this behavior is that Aubrey tries her best to forget her father's untimely death. She can also be a little clueless and won't immediately get innuendos or anything that is being hinted at.
History (optional): Aubrey was born and raised in the Tranquil Moon Pack. She was a daddy's girl and would often try following her father everywhere around camp as a pup. Her greatest wish was to make her father proud. She was trained as a hunter before becoming Perry's Alpha mate. Her father was one of the Sentinels in the same patrol that fought the bear that damaged Perry's leg, but Aubrey's father was killed by the bear rather than just injured.
Other: nothing else currently

Beta Male
Dux
Played By: ~ Nix |Ink Weaver ~
Gender: male
Age: 4 years

Personality: Dux is a great leader. He is self-sacrificing and good hearted. His ultimate goal is peace within the two packs; however, he knows sometimes he must fight to do so. He is friendly and infinatley loyal to those he calls friends. He would give his life for the smallest pack member and never kills unless he has to.
History (optional): Once he lived in a small family pack with Alloy, who was his most trusted friend. However, once he joined Tranquil Moon Pack he could never get out of his mind the images of the loner pups that may have been orphaned. Unable to rest until something was done, he sent Alloy out into the world to try and find those pups and bring them home.
Other: nothing else currently

Beta Female
Raina
Played By: Carrie T. Carrot
Gender: female
Age: 5 years
Theme Song: click

Personality: Raina is aggressive and over-sensitive. She dreams of making a perfectly functioning and prosperous pack once she becomes in charge. She’s a cold and demanding Beta but does everything for the good of others.
History (optional): When she was a loner, Raina had a litter of puppies with a never mentioned mate, but all of them (including her mate) died during a long and violent snowstorm during the winter. After the tragedy, she changed her attitude towards others and became even more bipolar and quick tempered. Even though she doesn't show it, Raina does love Dux, and when she is calmer and more peacful, she is affectionate to him.
Other: It's not completely confirmed whether or not her mate is dead, as she only found her pups' bodies, but she has convinced herself that he perished.

Healer
Serran
Played By: Nellas Lissësúl
Gender: male
Age: 5 years

Personality: Serran is usually thought of as docile and obedient. He is usually calm and unruffled, and it is very hard to perturb him visibly. He always maintains a cool but not aloof attitude. Though he is often quiet, his watchful forest gaze misses nothing, and he will speak out to share his ideas and thoughts as needed. He is quite smart and is more clever than most of the others in his pack. He may seem calm and collected, but in his mind one could practically see the wheels turning. He's always coming up with new ideas and strategies to test out. Though he is usually docile, he also has a strong set of instincts. If he feels the orders given to him by his betters aren't the wisest, he will ignore them and do his own thing, but only if it is for the better of the pack as a whole. He is loyal, quietly brave, and would die for his pack and the ones he cares about. He is an excellent strategist, does not lose his temper easily, and can offer comforting words of advice to those in need. He is usually fair when helping others, and is the pack's healer, a well-deserved position.
History (optional): N/A
Other: nothing else currently

Healer - Tenderfoot
Turquoise
Played By: kitkitlu
Gender: female
Age: 7 months
Theme Song: click

Personality: Turquoise is very caring and can't stand to see any Rah'liani in pain. She is very sarcastic and has a sharp tongue, so sometimes she offends other Rah'liani without meaning to. She hates to be teased.
History (optional): When Turquoise was a pup, her mother and all of her siblings got a terrible lung disease. For days, all that could be heard from the nursery was coughing. In the end they all died. When Turquoise started coughing, everyone thought she would die too, but she didn't. Sadly, a week later her father was attacked by an insane loner. He managed to kill the loner but was gravely injured. By the time he made it to the healer's den, his life was near its end. Turquoise watched him die because see had been moved to the healer's den. She was orphaned but now knew that her destiny was to become a healer.
Other: nothing else currently

Head Scout
Maritza
Played By: Carrie T. Carrot
Gender: female
Age: 5 years
Theme Song (optional): click

Personality: Maritza is the Head Scout. She usually goes out in groups of two to three Rah'liani when taking messages; she calls these units. With her talents in planning strategies, tolerance for others, and having respect, Maritza is an outstanding leader of the Scouts. She is also a leader who doesn't take sides in arguments within her own unit. She is also very fast, and can run at almost an amazing speed. However, she can't keep up this for long. When she is alone and has no need to be polite or kind, Maritza acts cynical, bitter, and even verbally violent. She also hates Rah'liani (usually males) who think that doing something "heroic" immediately makes them a better person. She calls these Rah'liani Philistines. She is also a good fighter, but she sometimes gets carried away and ends up accidentally injuring Rah'liani on her side. Maritza also sings quietly while she's fighting, but she herself isn't aware of this.
History (optional): N/A
Other: nothing else currently

Scout
Lumia
Played By: Larka's blessing
Gender: male
Age: 2 years

Personality: Lumia is a fun and joking Rah'liani. He never likes to be beaten, so when he is ordered by the Alpha it usually takes him a minute or two to think it over and listen. He is very stubborn but can be a good friend. He is never quiet except when hunting, and he makes a great storyteller. Sometimes he tells the pups stories that usually scare them, so he doesn't tell them any more. He always has some sort of crazy dream or fantasy in his mind but he acts normal.
History (optional): Lumia was pack-born, or so he thought. He was often alone. His mother died a few months after he was born from a sickness, and his father never cared for him. He was born in the Turbulent Sun Pack but ran away when he was young. He ended up in the Tranquil Moon pack, and he thought it was where he was born because he grew up there.

Turbulent Sun Pack Characters

Postby rainbowpanda101 » Tue May 08, 2012 8:18 am

Image
Alpha Male
Rigaldo
Played By: Carrie T. Carrot
Gender: male
Age: 8 years
Theme Song: click

Personality: Level-headed and calm, Rigaldo is a perfect Alpha. He always thinks about decisions before he makes them. Deep down, however, his heart is swirling with passion and anger towards himself. He believes that, even if something bad happens, no one should worry. As he always says, "With no darkness, there is no light." Meaning that one thing cannot exist without the other. If the Tranquil Moon pack ever stops replying to Scout messages or seems to hold a grudge against the Turbulent Sun pack, he says, "No matter how long it is gone or how well it is hidden the moon is, and always will be, in the sky, living in harmony with the sun." This shows how much he trusts the Tranquil Moon pack.
History (optional): When he was young (birth to five-years-old), Rigaldo used to be a cruel but kind loner, hardened by battles against other Rah'liani, both pack and loner. His father and mother died because of rival loners, and on the day they died he vowed to become strong for them. He seems to show no feelings towards his parents' deaths, but this is only because he chose to "get on with his life." After a few years, the previous Alpha male of the Turbulent Sun Pack saw kindness and patience in him when he refused to fight a pack Rah'liani who was unexperienced. So the Alpha invited him into his pack. Slowly, the pack gained his trust and in return he gained the pack's trust, and soon he became Beta Male along with Mintbubble, his current Alpha mate. Then the Alphas retired, and he and Mintbubble became Alphas of the pack. He still gets teased by some pack members because of his past and heritage, but never to his face. He wishes that he could go back in time and reset him being a loner and just tell himself to join the pack.
Other: nothing else currently

Alpha Female
Mintbubble
Played By: rainbowpanda101
Gender: female
Age: 6 1/2 years
Theme Song: click

Personality: Mintbubble (nicknamed Mint) is a judgmental, stony-faced Alpha who is a bit of a hypocrite. She loves her mate, Rigaldo, and accepts that he has left his loner life well behind him. However, she is suspicious of any of her packmates who are descendants of loners. She thinks that they can't be trusted until they show true allegiance to the pack. If one were to ask Mintbubble what a loner descendant could do to gain her trust, she wouldn't be able to say exactly. Her emotions are not easy to read because she keeps them off her face. She can sometimes be a loose cannon with a short fuse, so it's best to stay on her good side.
History (optional): Unlike her mate, Mintbubble was born and raised in the Turbulent Sun Pack. She was trained as a Scout before becoming Beta around the same time as Rigaldo. During her time as Beta, she fell in love with Rigaldo. Now, the two of them lead the Turbulent Sun Pack.
Other: nothing else currently

Beta Male
Labes
Played By: ~Kenzie ♥'s Stefan~
Gender: male
Age: 3 years
Theme Song: click

Personality: Labes is a shy, quiet, keep-to-the-shadows type of guy. He likes to find a cool, cold, shadowy place to lay and watch others. He has big dreams and makes wishes on every star. He has many hopes about just about everything. He hates being alone and loves to start conversations with Rah'liani he doesn't know because he wants to get to know them. He also has synesthesia, which confuses him once in a while because of all the colors and sights and smells that normal Rah'liani don't have.
Other: nothing else currently

Beta Female
Cholula
Played By: Nazgul
Gender: female
Age: 3 years
Theme Song: none

Personality: Cholula is almost always happy to meet new Rah'liani, but she can get overwhelmed easily. When this happens, she will go and lie down somewhere without any other Rah'lani around. She is kind and friendly but still takes her job as Beta seriously. Sometimes, it can be difficult for her to transition from silly playing to a serious Beta attitude, so she's earned quite a few nips from the Alphas for her jokes that were inappropriate at the time.
Other: nothing else currently

Healer
Siri
Played By: AprilShowers
Gender: female
Age: 6 years
Theme Song: click

Personality: Siri is calm and hates fighting, which makes her a good Healer. Her good memory for herbs and level head in bad situations make her perfect for the job, and her loathing of violence and general shyness with strangers make it impossible for her to do anything else. Siri can be very aloof at times and doesn't like strangers. She's definitely an introvert, which makes it hard for other Rah'liani to get close to her. Her patience is not exactly never-ending, and she definitely does not suffer fools in the slightest. Siri is endlessly kind to her patients and cares individually about each one. She is highly intelligent and can think her way out of most problems, and once she becomes loyal to someone she will be their friend for life. Siri is also a bit of a romantic, for better or for worse. She has a kind of mystical, secret-keeping quality that draws other Rah'liani to her. Siri definitely earns this reputation. She prefers to stay above the crowd and doesn't like to get her paws dirty, which may not be a good thing. However, she is fairly down-to-earth and not a bit the daydreamer other Rah'liani sometimes think she is.
History (optional): Siri used to be a member of the Tranquil Moon Pack, but her father (a Sentinel) grew angry with the Alphas and ran away with his daughter. He tried to join the Turbulent Sun Pack, but they wouldn't accept such a cowardly deserter. The pack took pity on Siri, who was just a pup at the time, and the old Healer took her under her care. After her Mentor died, Siri took over the position of Healer. She has gained full trust of the Turbulent Sun Rah'liani, or so she thinks. (Mintbubble, the Alpha female, still has her doubts that Siri will remain loyal to their pack because she comes from the Tranquil Moon Pack.) The fate of Siri's father is unknown.
Other: nothing else currently

Sentinel
Myra
Played By: Mayer217
Gender: female
Age: 4 years
Theme Song: click

Personality: Myra is very stubborn and can be very hot-headed, but it's always for a good reason. She would die to protect and serve her pack, especially the alphas and her loved ones. She is a wicked fighter, and nobody would want to mess with her when she's in a bad mood. Though, she's almost always in a bad mood. She is like a porcupine - sharp, pokey and ready to defend herself or others, but also soft and cuddly on the inside...if one can find it! But no matter how angry Myra is at someone, she forgives them...eventually. Sure, she might get them back later on, but there will be love in it. Her stubbornness actually helps her because it can make her extremely determined, so she never gives up. It's very hard to bring her down.
History (optional): She trained hard as a tenderfoot and passed her assessment into the Sentinel position with flying colors. Her only problem was her bad temper, but she has been an exceptional pack member since.
Other: nothing else currently

Subordinate - Future Healer Tenderfoot
Idris
Played By: Carrie T. Carrot
Gender: male
Age: 5 years
Theme Song: click

Personality: At the moment, all signs of a personality Idris has shown is that he is mostly quiet. He is also said to be very polite when he finds the strength to talk. He also seems to have good patience and has to put up with other Rah'liani having to take care of him.
History (optional): Idris was found near the Turbulent Sun territory. He was thin that his ribs were showing. His teeth were also chattering, even though it was spring. The hunting party that found him took Idris with them to the Turbulent Sun pack's camp, and since then he has been taken care of by the pack.
Other: Idris is blind. He will become the Healer Tenderfoot.

Loner Characters

Image
Friend of Tranquil Moon Pack
Alloy
Played By: xX-Nix-Xx
Gender: male
Age: 4 years

Personality: Fun-loving by nature, he is quite happy to play with pups and do things for others. He can often be seen giving the tenderfoots tips, or listening to the Elders. He is well liked among the pack, although he is a loner. He is intensly loyal to Dux, since they're from the same small family pack. If ever called upon to obey Dux and not the Alpha of Tranquil Moon, he would do so willingly (however it is unlikely this would occur).
History (optional): Originally a part of a half-formed loner pack, Alloy was attacked and nearly killed because the leader at the time was betrayed by Alloy's father. Dux found him and took care of him, earning Alloy's undying loyalty. He is perfectly happy to fulfill any role asked of him, and he now travels the world helping out any who needs him.
Other: nothing else currently

True Loner
Chickenfoot
Played By: kitkitlu
Gender: male
Age: 5 years
Theme Song: click

Personality: Chickenfoot is very clever and manipulative, so he is very valuable to the loner rebellion. He can make the life of a loner sound easy and the rebellion sound like a game. He loves to spy on the packs for fun, and he constantly daydreams about leading the loners into battle with the packs and ruling all Rah'iani. He is a very good fighter, and he knows it. He has a short fuse, and one only lights it if they have a death wish. He makes evil plans out of boredom and makes others do his dirty work.
History (optional): His history is not known because it isn't anyone's business!
Other: nothing else currently

True Loner
Pablo
Played By: Carrie T. Carrot
Gender: male
Age: 6 years
Theme Song: click

Personality: He has good fighting skills. If someone annoys him, Pablo simply turns to them and hits them on the face, no matter who they are. This shows his confidence in himself, and that he believes he can win no matter who he's against. He also considers himself a bit of a lady's man, having managed to date almost every (similarly aged) Rah'liani female loner in the six years he's been alive (sometimes two at a time). Despite all this, Pablo is actually pure-hearted and humble, preferring to give others credit for things instead of himself.
History (optional): When he was five years old, some loners approached him and asked him if he'd join their rebellion. He didn't quite know what this meant, but he thought he would get stronger and possibly meet a few females along the way. He was given the job of messanger.
Other: nothing else currently

True Loner
Dragonfly
Played By: Hoof to hoof
Gender: male
Age: 3 years

Personality: Dragonfly is a cautious and shy Rah'liani who usually gives up easily in a fight. He is more likely to run from others than to face them. He is quiet most the time, and he hardly answers questions.
History (optional): He was born in a small den that his mother had made. He never quite knew his father. When he was two months old, his father went hunting after he and Dragonfly's mother had fought and never came back. Dragonfly's mother always blamed herself, and she left Dragon alone when he was only seven months old. She had trained him and taught him all she knew, but it was not enough. After his parents disappeared, he went quiet and now hardly speaks. He learned to stay out of the way of others, and he never really learned how to fight.
Other: His nickname is Dragon.

True Loner
Felicia
Played By: Carrie T. Carrot
Gender: female
Age: 6 years
Theme Song: click

Personality: Felicia is what one would call an ego-obsesser. She constantly wants others to look up to her and for herself to become feared among others. Her dream is to one day be known by everyone and everything, famous or infamous, by Rah'liani and humans alike. She prides herself on being the self-titled strongest female fighter out of all the loners. However, whether or not this is true isn't known. She says she is strongest because anyone that has ever faught her hasn't had the chance to tell anyone of how strong she is. Because they die when she fights them. Felicia also shows no regret for whatever she does or whoever she does things to, unless these things affect her badly in any way, shape or form. She almost only cares for herself. But there's one Rah'liani that always catches her eye...
History (optional): Felicia used to be part of the Turbulent Sun pack, but left after other Rah'liani were harassing her about her loner ancestry. She eventually fled in the night, under the disguise of darkness. While she was hunting one day, she saw a strange, blue Rah'liani with orange legs walking by a stream. He didn't seem to care if he was seen or not, as if he owned the place. She fell for him, to say. Felicia decided to follow him, but she had to stop when she saw him heading to other Rah'liani! Then she realised, he was the Alpha of the Tranquil Moon pack!
