After a much long hiatus from applying to any adoptables, I really wanted to practice my skills again. This was the first place I went and I completely fell in love with this litter. Honestly, I am not a big fan of the color pink, but the design on his blanket intrigued me. After seeing the female one, I can tell he is going to look amazing. :3
Desired name:
Nexus; It's seems like a good name you would give to something cybernetic and that is what this litter comes off to me as. The glow comes off techno, especially next to the black so this seemed like the perfect techno name.
Age:
He is a teenager, around eighteen.
Personality:
Nexus is every bit as loud as his markings are bright. He is hyper, he loves to run and play and never acts his age. Sitting still is definitely not on his agenda. He is flighty and capricious. You can read his emotions like an open book, but you cannot always keep track of them. He can jump from excited to calm and back to excited almost as fast a hummingbird can fly. His train of thought can change just as fast. Very rarely will he ever stick to one thing and he has a hard time staying focused during any serious conversation.

Nexus is friendly and he mostly has a sunny disposition. He loves to make friends and easy to get along with. He will talk to anyone about everything and can quickly make even the biggest of sourpusses grin in amusement. He is never usually upset and it can be quite difficult to make him angry. It just seems as if is not capable of negative emotions.
History:
Nexus was born to two loving parents and was the runt of a litter of three. This was the only thing normal in his others wise extraordinary life. He was born in a city. A large, bustling, loud city. He was born in the slums of the city. Grime and filth and rats were his surroundings. Especially the rats. He never complained about his surroundings, unlike his brothers.

The only thing he hated was the food. He lived on the trash of humans and had to fight for scraps with the other scavengers of slums. More often then not, he went to sleep hungry. It was a pitiful existence, but he was unable to change any of it. Until a fateful event changed his life forever.

He was with his brothers. They had just left their parents for the final time, given that they were teenagers and now old enough to take care of themselves. They had decided to band together, hoping that their chances for finding better pickings was higher in a pack. He was smaller then his brothers, but by no means weaker. With his speed, he easily kept up with his larger brothers and, shockingly, his darting eyes quickly saw any danger before it came upon them.

That was until the rats swarmed them. They were huge and vicious. Their beady eyes darting around maliciously and their sharp stained teeth flashed in the night. They swarmed the brothers, their claws and teeth inflicting several wounds and forced the brothers to flee.

His eyes were wide with panic, his heart pounded in his chest, and rain slicked his pelt against his scrawny body. Nexus ran, fear lending speed to his scuffed and stinging paws. He was separated from his brothers and was lost and disoriented but he refused to stop running. That was the last time he saw his brothers.

Ironically, the night of his greatest fear brought him his first joy. He had ran through most of the night and was exhausted and when he finally came to a stop. He slumped to the ground next to a rust colored bricked building, his paws cut and painful. He closed his eyes, promising to rest only for a few moments when the sound reached his ears.

He raised his head, and tilted his ears curiously. It was coming from the building. Curiously and cautiously, he snuck through an open window and made his way to the source of the music. It was dark, and strange but pulsating music started to pound in his ears. He stepped into a strange room and his eyes widened when the sound grew to a fever pitch and flashing lights assaulted his eyes. That was his first nightclub visit, and was definately not his last.

At first the humans were shocked to see a wild animal, especially a daeet of all things, in a public building. But when they saw the little male hopping and 'dancing' to the music, they actually grew to love him. He became a mascot for the nightclub, and everyone in the city came to visit the 'Techno Daeet'. They marveled at flashing colors and were amused by his hyperactive antics.

Nexus had found his calling. He had found his home.
