Number of daeet you want to adopt:
| Male #03 | Male 3 | Male 03 |
Reason why you want to adopt it:
Blah! Well, first let me say that I am sooo glad I didn't win the last male....not that I didn't like him, I did, thought he was amazing and beautiful, but I think he'll have a better home with HD, and DIS GUY! .....dis guy just.....pure love ;A; He's so smexy and amazing :3 BUT, I want to get into that in more detail, so please feel free to continue reading my adoration towards this amazing male <3
His gray and black pelt draws my eye like a moth to a flame, it reminds me so very much of a husky that I was immediately drawn to him, but even if he didn't have the faintest resemblance to a husky....he'd still have my full attention. Gray and black are two colours that I'm always fond of in adoptables, they're natural yet can carry such weight and power with them.....I just can't stay away <333 Him especially, he has such a regal air about him, a little prince in the making I thought, and coupled with a personality I've been rolling around in my head, well, needless to say this fellow had me hook line and sinker <3 Literal love at first sight.
Even apart from that, as I was scrolling through the adoptables, wanting to see what each of them looked like, I couldn't help but stop and stare at that lovely little female, but when I curiously scrolled down to see if she had a male counterpart.....she did, and he looked even more intriguing to me than her. The increase of gray on his face, and the way his facial markings look, was so striking and engaging that I knew I needed to try for him XD By now you obviously know I have a fetish for male Daeets, and seeing this boy was just.....like a cool drink of spring water to my Daeet loving soul <3
I feel like I should address something as well, I have a lot of Daeets, I'm not sure whether I'm keeping all of them, since I need them to have the best homes possible, but I honestly love each and every one of them with an inquenchable, deep, and abiding love <3 Even the thought of giving one up makes me sad, so "needing to have a daeet" is not part of my psyche at all. If anything I try to NOT go for Daeets if I can resist, I want other people to love them as well. But again this boy grabbed my attention and refused to let me go, I swear he started calling out "Try for me please! I want to be looooved!" And who am I to refuse? So voila, here I am, about to do my very best to snag this handsome fellow <333
Desired name:
Faolan
A Gaelic name, means "Little Wolf"
Why this name?
Well, most people would assume I chose it simply for his colouring, but you'd be terribly wrong <3 Apart from the fact that I adore Gaelic names, Faolan sounded perfect for him. I say each name, and if i like the sound then I assess the meaning and see if it suits the personality I had planned for him. In this case Little Wolf worked perfectly, particularly given his heritage and where he comes from. It'll make more sense once you read his history, but essentially little Faolan is indeed very wolf-like, even if he's not exactly "little".
Age:
| 3 in Daeet Years | 17 in human years |
Personality:
When I sat down to start writing his personality today, I really didn't want to. Honestly, writing out a straigh personality, saying how the character is amazing in this area and terrible in another....is horridly boring. So I decided to do things a little differently this time, shake it up a bit. And hopefully you guys will enjoy reading this style as much as I enjoy writing it XD
Gentle:
Though Fao would fight to his last breath if you threatened his family or the things he cares about, generally speaking he's gentle and meek as a field mouse, you'd be hard pressed to catch him being rough with the youngsters, and even when he moves he has an almost placid look about him.
Faolan glanced up at the sky with thoughtful eyes, it seemed almost yesterday that he'd been cold and wet, wandering through the dark forest, unsure whether he would live to see tomorrow. Everything was so.....different now. Admittedly he felt a small amount of guilt about his unkept promise to his father, the promise to remain fierce and wild, no matter what. But....thoughtfully Faolan glanced at the humans who had taken him in, saved him from certain death, no. He owed it to them to remain a gentle creature, and that was HIS decision to make. At that exact moment a passel of human children came squealing towards him with excitement glowing in their eyes, twitching his ears in surprise Fao started to sidle away, but thought better of it. Instead he let out a low rumbling chuckle and eased down onto the ground, flopping onto his side while the little children excitedly clambered about his fur. The old shaman of the tribe, a little wrinkled old woman who called herself Miska, came hobbling over as well, leaning heavily on her cane. She eyed the children critically for a moment but allowed them to lose themselves in Fao's thick fur for a little while. Finally though she banged down her staff with an impressively loud thump, not something you'd expect from a little old lady, though by now Fao had learned not to underestimate the aging shaman. The children immediately recognized the sound and went impossibly still, some still clung silently to him, hoping she wouldn't notice them within the recesses of his belly fur. Others were more timid and slowly hopped off of him to stand at a respectful distance, hands clasped in front of their little stomachs. Fao shot them an affectionate glance and then turned to Miska. She was the only human who was able to communicate with him, though how it worked Faolan didn't know, he chose not to question it either. Content to simply accept it and utilize her skills.
"Are these children pestering you overmuch Fao?" She asked him, her voice thin and papery while still managing to maintain a poise and undercurrent of strength that impressed him. He turned to regard the children, each of them looking repentant and slightly scared...except for Timogen, the son of the village's chief, who had a decidedly rebellious and unrepentant look about him. Slowly though Fao shook his big head. "No, they're just harmless children, and I don't really mind them bouncing around in my fur....just so long as they don't start trying to yank it out." He rumbled with faint amusement, reminded of another time where Timogen had decided to show his "manliness" by ripping out a chunk of Fao's fur. He still was a little sore in that spot. But he honestly liked the children, and fostering a good relationship with them was important to him. So that was what he was doing. Miska studied him for a long moment, probably to make sure that he meant it, before she grunted and nodded to him. Turning to the children she shot them a steel eyed glare, silently warning them to behave, before she turned and hobbled away. Chuckling softly to himself Fao turned to study the children and let out a playful growl. They let out squeals of happiness and huge grins broke across their sun baked faces, and then they were tumbling over him again laughing and giggling excitedly. And Faolan sank contentedly into the grass, and played happily with the villages children.
Loyal
Faolan is extraordinarily dedicated to the people and creatures he cares about, he'd stand with them into the greatest and most frightening of situations without the faintest sense of hesitancy. If he's on your side then you don't have to worry about him ever backing out from helping you. He'll stick with you until his dying die.
Brave:
If there is a threat against him or those he cares about Faolan is fully prepared to go into the most dangerous of situations, no matter how scared he really is.
Submissive:
He tends to defer to others, allowing them to dictate his fate more than taking the reigns himself which causes problems for him on occasion.
Bloodlust:
His greatest flaw occurs when he gets a taste if blood. He goes crazy and loses all sense. Becoming reduced to a creature that thrives only on baser instincts, and doesn't differentiate between friend and foe.
History:
Faolan was born to two Daeets who had only one thing on there mind: conquering all of Mackthor. Needless to say it was a highly difficult childhood, and Fao found himself constantly being put down by his aggressive parents, both of whom felt that he needed to be fiercer and less kind. Of course, you can't change who you are, and Faolan knew this. So it was that he tried to gain their affection through other means. He never expected for a rival family of Daeets to come through and slaughter his family, with Fao only being spared because he had been away collecting food at that point. He returned in time to hear his fathers last words, which told him to remain wild and strong.
Filled with grief Faolan ran into the dark woods he had been told to avoid at all costs. For many days he wandered through them, growing hungrier and hungrier, thirstier and thirstier. He would have died, except he was discovered by the great chief of a primitive human village. The man took pity on him and carried him back to the village. Faolan's next few years, in the care of the humans, were some of the best years of his life. He grew quickly and happily under their care.
{If I somehow manage to win him I'd elaborate on this and expand, for now this is just a quick glimpse that I wrote up on my iPod so you can get the basic idea <3}
Where will it be used?
My story featuring, Remi, Enitan, Fandango, and Dragomir definitely. Possibly his own as well. Am also creating fancy threads for all my characters, so he'd have a place of honour there, and probably spend some time in my siggy as well.
I happen to have several fantastic ideas for how to use him in several different settings, one involves his history and would build off of that, perhaps even starting in his youngest years and giving a more in-depth look into his life. It would definitely continue from where I leave off, and I have a feeling it would be pretty epic.
He'd also definitely be one of my "in my head" characters, who I daydream with and use in the silent stories which never get written <3 Either way I'd use him a lot, and I'm also planning on getting art done of all my Daeets, so if I manage to get enough points for that....then be prepared for some epic art XD
How will you use it?
Definitely with the utmost love and affection, he deserves the very best, so the very best he would get <3 Even if that meant giving him up some time in the future :C Though to be honest I can't see that happening, I still feel I should mention it, if only to be fair and leave nothing out. Generally speaking I'd treat him with the same attention and reverance I give to Xerxes and co. He'd definitely have a loving and caring home with me <3
Whoever created this litter......I LOVE YOU <3333 Seriously though, this is so much win, packed into six bundles of amazingness, unlike my unfinished form for the last Daeets.....you can be certain that THIS time I'll finish with a super long story and a great personality <3 Stay tuned, this is still a major WIP <3 And congrats to Joker!
