Ahzenai you're wooing: Chiinak
Woo: A medium-sized, brown raccoon glanced up as the vortex literally spit out the newest ahzenai. He had not been in Ahzen for very long, but this seemed to be a fairly common occurrence judging by the suitors excitement every time a new ahzenai was introduced. All he could do was wonder about the need for ahz and suitor to come together. He was a loner by definition, expelled from a large city by man's growing distaste for his kind. He had yet to learn the foraging skills needed by his relatively more wild counterparts, and even here he was more inclined to find scavenge some tasty morsels, long forgotten by their owner.
He watched with interest as this newest ahz seemed rejected by the world, including the top ahz in Ahzen. The raccoon sidled closer as he noticed the french fries not to far from where the ahz was thrown into the world, licking his lips with anticipation only sigh in frustration as the new ahz got to the food before he did. Then again, he had to admire the fact that this ahz seemed to know his stuff when it came to scavenging. Perhaps there was a kindred spirit under that greasy looking fur.
He inched closer, trying to stay out of sight of the human suitors. Experience had told him multiple times humans and raccoons do not mix. He crossed the rest of the way when there was a break in suitors and stopped in front of the eating ahz.
"Hello there. Name's Ripley. I have to say, you have a good eye for food."
Ripley eyed the french fries for a moment, still vaguely interested, but mentally chastised himself. He would not take someone else's find. That would be too rude for him. His green eyes traveled back to the ahz as he continued speaking.
"I am also inclined to take advantage of the food left behind by others. You know what they say. One person's trash is another's supermarket." He chuckled to himself at what he thought was a clever joke before continuing, "You know, I know plenty of places outside of this place that have easy meals. You have to keep from being seen, but humans there throw out half eaten food all the time. It's ripe for the taking. You should join me. You'd be amazed at the wondrous varieties of food a human city have to offer, and I know a perfect one, surrounded by trees to stay in during the day and many, many nooks and crannies to explore for food at night."
Ripley hoped the prospect of staying out of sight of humans wouldn't turn the ahz away from his companionship. He was really starting to like the guy, despite him dominating the conversation. "Well, I enjoyed talking to ya. I'll be over there if you need me." With that, he turned and walked away, his tail swinging behind him.
