Ok, Im not really sure what i can tell you then... A good way to make sure it dosnt hurt as bad is to keep her nails nice and trimmed though, because then it may not hurt as bad, if she paws at you. Sorry i couldnt help as you where hoping...

Juke knows:
Sit.
Stay.
Come.
Fetch.
Pick up. (Pick up an object)
Drop. (Drop an object in his mouth.)
Lie down.
Shake.
Roll over. (He has a spazz when he does it. LOL.)
Kiss. (He will lick you.)
Poke. (Pokes something with his nose.)
My newest addition to the family, Luna my mutt, is still young to do all the fancy tricks. For now she knows the basic tricks and commands.
Luna knows:
Stay.
Come.
Fetch.
Sit. (Only does if you have a reward.)
Despite the somewhat 'impressive' tricks my dogs can do, they are dang right lazy, it's a mission trying to get their attention. When I'm teaching Juke he will get really bored and look away, or he will just stare at the treat blankly until I give it to him. >.>
Well, for bordom, new treats can always help, and prazing them like crazy can get there attention a little more as well.^_^ You have some very talented dogs. Also, Dont give him the treat if he doesnt do the trick, because then he will just keep staring, as he does. And if you dont, then great job. :P

It's the things that she learns to do by herself that's crazy.
She can JUMP. She can jump from all four feet from the floor to the table in one leap, and she's only 10 inches tall.
She can open things, get under things, over things, through things, it's crazy. She's Houdini I swear. She herds our chickens, -which scares them to death,- into tight little groups and doesn't let them leave. She's an egg snatcher, she can pull an egg out of the coop at lightning speed and and be delicate enough not to break it it. She chases flashlights, like a cat. She "yodels" like a Basenji. She also climbs.
I think she's part feline.
No matter what we do, she's smarter than our newest idea to keep her out of trouble. She's even been working on opening doors. She obeys commands until we're gone, and then she tears around the house like nut. We have a kennel for her but she's chewed through two of them.
Any ideas on how to calm her down? XD
Bahaha, im sorry, but i laughed reading this. ^_^ Sounds like a sweet, and energetic dog...
Have you tried medal kennels? Also, a "babysitter" may help as well, if you had a neighbor, or friend that could stay and watch her?
Keeping toys and bones out is another thing that could keep her busy.... If you need more information, let me know. :P
