I want to enter contest #1!
Farfalle's Name: Static
Personality: Brave and bold, but kind-hearted. He will never turn away a younger colt or filly when they ask for help, and he often helps others with whatever they can't do.
Background (History): "He's white!" Yelled an angry male voice. "An outrage for a colt to be WHITE!" The young colt in question glanced up at the angry, yelling man. Then a female spoke.
---"We must fix it." Those words changed the colt forever, but at the time, he didn't know. Didn't even know they were his parents. They hoisted him up (rather violently) and carted him over to a pool of blackness.
---"This pool is black, and will dye anything that touches it," spoke the father, grabbing his son by the tail and angrily dunking him into the inky blackness. It filled his eyes and mouth, leaving him sputtering, which caused him to ingest even more of the blackness. He was finally pulled out by his father, where he laid still on the shore. The father, still angry, kicked him into the pool and stormed away with his mother, who gave him an apologizing look before he splashed in to the water.
---He swam around, finally pulling himself out, and began licking at the blackness, trying to rid of the toxins on his pelt. Finally, most of it had come off from his tail and flank, part of his nose. But he was still black. Since then, he has tried to get it off, and has drained the pool of oil (which he later learned was what had dyed him.) His parents were never seen again, but he still wishes he could know them.
