Name:
Carly;
The dog of many names…

Gender
'Tis a sweet little girl…

Species
Dog
As for what breed, nobody knows…

Kennel Number:
65

Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?:
She is possibly one of the cutest dogs I have ever seen(pixel dog, of course), and she makes me smile.
But besides that, I would like to have her because whenever I see her, thoughts rush through my mind like a tornado, and I have a beautiful story idea for her.
If I do get her, then I will create her story on here for all to see, so that everyone can appreciate her and hear her story as thoroughly as I do in my mind.
I'm sure that everyone else could create a better reason of why they want it or what they will do with it, but reasoning has never been a strong suit of mine.

Personality:
{}Carly…
The poor little thing has gone through so much…
She never barks, hardly eats or plays…
Just sits there in her cage, bein' all quiet-like…{}
She was abused from the time that humans first found her, being smacked around for barking at the passing cars and growling at the kids that always tripped over her while she slept. Whenever she grabbed anything to play with the humans, they would kick her away and throw her outside. They never fed her; she lived off of small animals she found in the backyard she was always trapped in.
Because of this, she is quite shy, backing away from any contact with humans. Whenever they get close, she cowers down and tucks her tail between her legs, expecting the worst. And as for eating, she never trusts what the humans give her, although it may smell good and make her mouth water. She sleeps to try and rid herself of the continuous pain in her stomach, but it only works for a short period of time. And she never plays because she never goes near humans.
Carly is quiet; she is afraid that she will be hurt if she even dares to whimper. In her young mind, every yelp is a signal for another beating, as that was how she grew up.
Though she lacks words, everything can be seen in her eyes; every thought, every tear, every silent laugh, every snarl, every secret. She turns away whenever she sees you searching her eyes, and walks away with shaky paws.

History:
{}Born to the cold, darkness of the streets…
Forever bound to them and their Hell on Earth…
When will the chains break?{}
She was born to a stray, living a short part of her adolesence traveling from alleyway to alleyway, running from the dog-catchers and their horrid metal neck-rings. Her mother, Jewel, kept her alive by bringing Carly rats and pigeons, and while they were enough for the pup, Jewel simply could not survive on the small animals. She grew weak, and moving from alley to alley became a slow and difficult process. Yet Carly still trotted by her feet, smiling and laughing, lifting her spirits to the skies.
For 6 months this went on, and the pair had covered quite the distance in their running. They both knew they had come far, but Jewel refused to tell her only child where they were headed, save for the answer of "North." But she knew exactly where she was taking Carly; the woods of Canada. It would be hard for the pup to adjust to the bitter cold, but she would get used to it in time. After all, her father resided there, living in the forests.
They made it to Michigan. That close to their goal. Jewel stayed in the shadows, traveled at night, dove through whatever water she could find so that she had no scent. But it did no good; they found her anyway.
The sharp rings fell around their necks just as they were about to cross into Canada. Carly yelped, and Jewel rubbed her nose against the pup's head. The truck had the strong and unmistakable smell of fear-many dogs before them had been in it. They could see nothing once the doors were slammed shut, and their ears rang with the echo of the metal. Carly curled close to her mother, whimpering, tears rolling from her gentle eyes. Jewel licked her pup's head, telling her that everything would be alright.
The truck stopped at a large building, which had an even stronger scent of fear than the truck. The two were pulled roughly out onto the sharp rocks that covered the ground, and the men laughed when Jewel's nose scraped against the stones. And though the pain was unbearable, she stood, holding her head high with the dignity that Carly could only ever dream of having.
They were brought to an open cage, and thankfully were kept together. They had food and water, but the food was stale and the water had a film over the top. Carly scratched at the door, but Jewel stayed back. She sat, tilting her head back and letting a song roll through the air. The sound was so wolflike that it sent shivers down the spines of the men. But they just shook their heads and hurried away.
Not one week passed before people came. The two children rushed through the halls, pearing into every cage. When they got to Jewel and Carly, they shoved their arms through the bars and stretched their grubby fingers toward the pup, screaming something so shrill that it hurt hurt ears. She scrambled behind her mother, who had stood and was snarling at the children as if she rabies and would attack if they got too close to her baby. One of the men came and unlocked the door, and went straight to Carly. He grabbed her roughly by the scruff of her neck, and brought her out of the cage, locking it behind him. Jewel charged at the bars, throwing herself against them and trying to reach her daughter.
The man ignored her, handing the pup to the children. They pulled on her ears and yanked her tail, making Carly yelp. They laughed, and she shook violently, trying to escape their grasp. But they held on too tightly for her to move much, she she curled her head downward and bit their hands. They screamed out, dropping her as they rubbed their hands. She went straight to the cage where her mother still was, pawing at the bars while her mother screamed for her to run. She turned to dart away, but once again the hand swooped down and grabbed her scruff.
TBC…
(In MUCH greater detail.)
(If I get her, that is…)

Other:
I really appreciate the fact that you have given us the chance to adopt these amazing, unwanted characters. For those of us that need them, or just really want them, it is truly generous, and those of us that can no longer fulfill their needs, it is a wonderful way to find them loving homes.

Thank you for taking the time to read and consider my form.

I will be here
when you think you’re all alone
Seeping through the cracks
I’m the poison in your bones
My love is your disease
I won't let it set you free
Til I break you

You’ll never know what hit you
Won’t see me closing in
I’m gonna make you suffer
This hell you put me in
I’m underneath your skin
The devil within
You’ll never know what hit you

I tried to be the lover to your nightmare
Look what you made of me
Now I’m a heavy burden that you can’t bear
Look what you made of me
Look what you made of me
I’ll make you see

It really depends on when I feel there are enough forms that I could put through. I'll try and make it the end of next week, but I can't say for sure.

Wes is away at the end of the week and will not be available. Out of state first, then unpacking, then going to a party. No time here for me. >|<

Username:Lexi2Dope!
Name:(lillii) i want to change it to Cassidy
Gender:female
Species: yellow lab
Kennel Number:16
Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?:I wanted my fursona Eva to have a best friend thats a "country girl" as Eva is a "city girl" I fell in love with her design and I would spam my deviantart account with pictures of her!
Personality:country girl, mellow, silly, southern, social, friendly, trustworthy
History: "WOOOO WEEE!" shouted a colorful yellow lab as she pounced into a pool of mud, in her thick southern accent. Mud splashed everywhere as the lab shook off, panting. A orange tabby cat hissed in the direction of all the commotion.
"Cassidy! Will you keep it down?! I'm trying to get some sun!"
The lab pounced over happily, "Awww shucks Tang, don't be such a downer! It's FUN to get dirty sometimes!" She leaped to the cat's other side, getting mud all over the place.
"HISSSS! You need to calm down!" The cat spat at the lab.
"Come on Tangerine, you know you love it," the lab said.
"Well, what's not to love?" Tangerine said, looking at the sun set.
"Even if you are annoying sometimes, I love you Cassidy." The cat said, laying down to face the sun set.
The lab settled next to her. "I love you too Tang, I love you to."

Cassidy loved every part about being a country dog. Living in all this wide open space was a dog's dream come true! The country was such a beautiful place. Every part of the day, from dawn to dusk looked like it was a painting outside the window. Cassidy could not imagine life outside the barn. She loved her owners, and loved helping them with the chores around the barn, from milling the cows to feeding the horses. Cassidy was a very intelligent labrador, so she was able to perform small tasks most normal dogs wouldn't be able to handle, like getting a pair of gloves for one of her owners and such. One of the best parts about being a country dog was all the fresh made food, and there was plenty of it to go around. Because of this, Cassidy was a well fed dog! She never had to eat dog food!

Cassidy awoke cuddled next to Tangerine the next morning where they had fallen asleep at the sun set. She stretched out her body, and walked over to her owners barn. The two kids were still sleeping, but their parents were at the kitchen table talking. Cassidy peered her head in to listen. The mother was in tears.
"What are we gonna tell the kids?" she sobbed.
The husband patted her back as she moaned. "It's okay, we'll just have to tell them we are moving north. We won't tell why."
Cassidy could not believe her ears. The NORTH? Oh no. This was a nightmare.
"This has to be a dream…" Cassidy whispered to herself.
"Did you hear a whimper?" The woman at the table asked her husband.
"It was Cass. Do you think she understands what we are saying?" He asked his wife as Cassidy trotted over to get pet.
"I always liked to believe so." She said in a shaky voice.
Cassidy whimpered in response.
"I'm sorry girl," the man said. She trotted away.
"Well Wendy, we better pack our bags. This barn ain't gonna pack itself."

Cassidy sprinted to Tangerine in a hurry, worry in her eyes.
"TANGERINE! TANGERINE!" she hollered in her natural southern voice.
Tangerine was talking to the family horse, Henry.
"Guys!! The owners! They said! And this! And that!" Cassidy struggled to pant.
"Woah, easy there tiger," Henry said in his deep, comforting voice. "Now, what's the matter?"
"The owners said. We have to move!" Cassidy got out.
Tangerine stared at her in disbelief.
"What?" she asked.
"I'm serious! They are packing now!" Cassidy panted.
"Oh my," Tangerine walked off slowly to the barn to see for herself.
Henry looked down at Cassidy, who sat sating at her feet. She began to cry.
"I never wanted this to happen!" Her voice cracked as she spoke
"Now now. It's okay. We will get through this together," Henry bent his head down next to Cassidy. She leaned on his head.
"H-Henry?"
"Yes my dear?"
"I-I love you. And I always will. No matter what happens. Okay?"
Henry smiled and closed his eyes. "I love you too."
Tangerine came back with an upset look on her face. "I-Its. TRUE!" she burst and started crying. Henry tried to comfort them. The two girls sat there sobbing, Cassidy hanging on to Henry's neck. It was choking him slightly, but he really didn't care. They sat there like that and took it all in. These were going to be their last hours at the farm.

The car was now packed, and the kids sat in the car, pouting.
"Why do we have to leave?" The girl of the two kids asked her father.
He didn't answer.
Cassidy sat outside the car, still in slight sobs.
Tangerine and Henry watched Cassidy sob to herself.
"Cass!" The man called.
Henry and Tangerine had to stay behind. The apartment did not allow cats, for the manager was allergic, and of course, you couldn't bring a horse.
"I guess, this is goodbye," Cassidy stared at her paws.
Tangerine let up and hugged Cassidy tightly.
"I love you so much. Remember that!" She tugged something off her neck.
"Y-Your lucky bandana?" Cassidy asked.
"Take it. So we remember each other."
Cassidy nodded.
She walked over to Henry, and started sobbing even harder. She hugged his neck again.
"I love you Hen! I really do!" she said sharply.
"I love you too," he replied sympathetically. He nipped at a bell on his neck he used to always wear and gave it to Cassidy.
"It sure will be different around here without you," he said.
She sobbed even harder.
Tangerine tugged her off of the horse's neck.
"Its time for you to go," she said dully.
Mindlessly, Cassidy hopped in the car, next to the boy child.
They drove off, and she looked back, at a life that would be left behind forever.
"Bu-buy," she muttered, then cried herself to sleep in the young boy's lap.
"It's alright Cass. it'll be okay," the young boy said, stroking her head.

The drive was very long, and it felt like forever until they found their apartment room. The walk there was terrible. All the other dogs on the street snickered at Cassidy; her untidy appearance and her muddy smell. The other dogs smelled like too much perfume, and wore diamond studded collars. This made Cassidy feel terrible inside. When they got in the room, it was even smaller than she thought it would be. There was absolutely no room to even run! She hated it, and she had not even been there for a day. Everyone was upset, and didn't know what to do.

One night, a couple weeks later, Cassidy snuck out to get some fresh air. She hated that dumb, small apartment. She figured out how to get down to the first level of the tower, and got out through a crack in the door.
The mid-July air was breezy in her face. The weather was chillier up in the north than it was in the south, but it was still July, and it was warm. Cassidy shyly wandered the empty sidewalks. Suddenly she bumped into another dog… thing?
In front of her was what looked like some sort of German Shepard, but she had horns. HORNS! And a fluffy tail! Cassidy was shocked. The animal thrust a paw out to stop herself from falling. She giggled.
"HI! My name is Eva! May I ask what you're doing… out so late?" she asked.
Cassidy did not know how to reply.
"I-I'm Cassidy. From down south."
"Heehee!"
"W-What's so funny?"
"Your voice is funny! That's all!"
"Funny?" Cassidy asked herself. "Your voice sound funny to me too!"
"Well, I do have a bit of a New York accent," the animal said.
"That's it," Cassidy said. "I'll tell you what I'm doing if you… tell me what kind of animal you are?"
"Oh, I'm a fluff dragon/wolf hybrid. That's right. A hybrid," Eva said.
"Wow… that is pretty neat!" Cassidy said.
"Yup! Now what are you doing here?" Eva asked.
Cassidy explained what happened, and began crying.
"I HATE IT HERE! I JUST HATE IT HERE!"
Eva knew she could not let this poor dog live like this.
She had an idea.
"I'm gonna show you around the city." She said.

Eva took Cassidy to all the famous spots in New York City, and got her some city food, and showed her all the pretty lights and nightlife. Cassidy was impressed, but not as impressed as she was watching the sunset every night. There were a couple "parks" she could roam around at, but they were a far walk from her apartment. She felt a little better. Things sure were gonna be different. As Eva was finishing her tour, Cassiday interrupted.
"Thank you for all this and all, but… I still really want to go home… do… you think I could walk home?"
Eva just had the best idea to help, and solve this dog's problem.
"Yes. Even better. We can get a ride home."

Eva has been all over the country, and knew her way around pretty well. She found a cargo truck of soda that was heading in the right direction. They snuck in, and as soon as the truck started moving, Cassidy felt happier already. Eva even opened up some of the soda and drank a lot of it. Cassidy wasn't familiar with "soda" and didn't want to be either. Eva drank too much and got sick, and Cassidy got a headache, but those were the only major complications of the trip. When the truck driver would stop to rest, the dogs would sneak out and get food and walk around for a bit. They bonded quickly and were soon referring to each other as best friends.

They were almost to their destination. Cassidy could smell it, and feel it in the air. She was so excited. How long had she been gone? A month? 2?
The truck stopped at a gas station, and the two got out.
"Oh my goodness! This is it! The QuickStop gas station that was close to our farm! We did it!" Cassidy exclaimed.
Eva started to walk south. "Let's go!"

As soon as the old barn was in view, Cassidy felt so happy. She couldn't wait to see her friends.
She ran to the house, and saw Henry. Eva followed.
"HENRY!!" She called.
The horse looked, up and with it his face lit up.
Cassidy hugged the horse's neck again.
She explained how she got here, and how she risked leaving her family just to be with her "real family." She introduced Eva.
"Wait… where's Tang?" Cassidy asked.
"Well… um… she died," he flat out told her.
"She died giving birth."
Cassidy felt like she had been slapped in the face.
"W-What?" She said, and fainted.

When she woke up, she was laying in a pile of Henry's hay in his little horse stall. Eva waited for her to wake up. When she did, Cassidy asked her a question.
"Eva? Would you be willing to live here? With me?
"I'm sorry, I jus can't."
"W-Why? Do you have owners?"
"No… but I know where I belong. And that's in the north."
"Thank you for everything Eva."
"No problem. I just had to help you when I first saw you. You looked too depressed."
Eva began to walk off, to continue her journey back home.
"I'll visit Cass! I promise!"
"So will I Eva!"
She fell asleep.

Now, Cassidy lives with Henry, and Tangerine's one surviving kitten, Clementine. She's just like Tang, but younger. Eva comes to visit often, and the group helps each other get food and feed each other. Cassidy is happy in the south where she belongs.

Other: i really hope i get this dog!! i love her so much! i feel like she's already mine!! i hope she will be!
