Bunnies Involved: roonie-Roe's Noodle and Tippy
Story:
Noodles sat in the grass watching the other cyber bunnies pose. He sighed softly, eyes wide. All the bunnies posed for the art hares as they placed there beautiful markings onto eggs. He let out another sigh, why would no one chose him? He admitted his markings were slightly plain but they were alright…weren’t they? He shifted his position to lay down as he watched. He saw Tippy getting her neon patterns painted onto an egg, then another, then another! Small tears welled up in his eyes but he quickly shook them away.

Days later few artists were still painting the last eggs. Easter was drawing to an end, and once again he wasn’t picked. His ears flattened against his head as he turned away from the scene. He pricked his ears as he heard someone approach him.

“Hello! What are you doing here? You should be getting your patterns painted!” said an artist bunny. The bunny had beautiful markings! He shined gold, with swirls of white and silver. His emerald green eyes shined softly. Noodles ducked his head sadly, he felt dull compared to this cyber bunny.

“I-I wasn’t chosen.” He said softly, his voice trembling slightly. He took in a breath to steady himself.

“Oh, really?” he asked surprised. The artist scanned Noodles pelt with a tiny smile.

“Yes…really.” This bunny was making him feel worse. He straightened up lifting his chin slightly.

“I’m not handsome enough. You’re too dull! Come back another year when you have some pizzazz in your pelt!” he quoted one artist, he had spoken to this year. He looked over his rusty brown pelt with lighter shades in it.

“I’m not interesting enough either like Tippy...” he murmured. The golden bunny tipped his head thoughtfully “I see…There isn’t much you can do about that, can you?” he asked Noodle with something sparking his eyes.

“No, I can’t…Which means ill never have an Easter egg of my own...” he concluded with a tiny sigh. He watched the golden bunny’s reaction and didn’t see what he thought he would. Instead of understanding and dismay there was surprise and thoughtfulness.

“Well, until we meet again, Noodle.” He gave him a small wink of an emerald eye before hopping off into the crowd of painters and admirers. Noodle tipped his head slightly again? Easter was almost done, and when it was all the painters would be back learning new techniques and traveling painting new scenes…He shook his head, that cyber bunny was loosing his mind, he needed a break. Noodle hopped away home, and settled himself in his bed of moss and leaves. He watched as the sky slowly began to set. He began to drift off, dreams appearing in his head. One dream made him smile, he was the center of attention. His fur was gleaming beautifully and he was posing on a podium. He held his chin high as many admired him. He heard many ‘ooh’s and ‘ahh’s from the crowd as he shifted positions and the sun beamed off his fur. He glanced at his pelt, it shone bright and beautiful.

Suddenly Noodle’s eyes snapped open. Yes! He could do it, it wasn’t too late. He bounced away and into one of the art studios. He grabbed a paint brush and dipped it into the some gold paint. He painted swirls all round his coat. Then he chose some blue paint. He died his paws with it and grinned. Something caught his eye close to the corner of the studio. He hopped over quickly and found, oh just his luck! Neon paint, now he could be like Tippy! He lathered the paint over his rusty brown coloured fur then hopped into the crowd. Many saw him and phrased him over his change. He lifted his head high, and then caught sight of the golden bunny. He raced over as fast as his little paws would carry him. “Sir! Sir! Please paint me! Please!” he called gleefully as he skidded to a stop.

The golden bunny looked at Noodle with surprise, what had he done, he thought with dismay.

“Of course Noodle.” He said reluctantly. Noodle grinned and hopped onto the podium. He sat down happily as the bunny began to paint his pelt onto an egg. He smiled and hopped up from his sitting position. His fur shining in the dull sunlight. Everybunny watched with wide admiring eyes, he saw Tippy watching with a grin and a hint of jealousy in her usual gleaming eyes. Noodle grinned wider and everyone cheered.

But this didn’t feel right Noodle thought. He didn’t like it how everyone phrased him for his new pelt, instead of his old. “Sir, please wait one moment!” he said in a tiny voice as he leapt off the podium. A murmur spread through the crowd as Noodle leapt into a puddle and splashed around. The paint came off slowly, but after awhile noodle had his original colour back. He shook out his fur then leapt onto the podium again.

“I’m ready now.” He said with a tiny smile. His russet brown fur gleamed with dew drops. Though it was plane it was unique, and Noodle felt himself. The golden bunny smiled softly and painted Noodle’s fur onto an egg. The egg was indeed different from all the others. It was plane, nothing sparkly, flashy, or glowing. It was unique and caught the eye of everyone. Noodle had finally gotten an egg, and one that he was proud off. As nightfall came and the judges arrived Noodle waited patiently with the golden bunny. Though Noodle didn’t win the contest, in fact Tippy did he was happy. He looked up at the golden rabbit with a soft smile, his eyes twinkling happily
“Thank you.” He said in a voice tiny but filled with joy no one had heard in Noodle’s voice in so long.

Sorry to have left you guys hanging for so long... D:

I took an hour long nap and when I woke up I had a raging migraine and felt kinda nauseous. I took something for the headache awhile ago but it hasn't hardly touched the pain. Just sort of dulled it a bit. If I'm not feeling any better soon I might just have to call it quits on the games tonight and continue running them tomorrow instead.

I'm really sorry about this guys. I know you're all enjoying these games so much and have been looking forward to them. I'd love to keep them going for you but it's hard to concentrate when you're head is pounding and you generally don't feel very good. :3

I'll still be online doing banner hunting (I'm account sitting for other people as well) so if you have any questions or need anything go ahead and let me know, I'll be off and on. <3
