It seems like only yesterday winter was here and had you in its icy grasp.
Today you wake up and Spring has already clutched you to its chest listening to the sweet song of your heartbeat.
Your wings flutter and I love you more than ever.
You lift two box's and place them in front of me.
"A surprise from me to you" you whisper in my ear.
"You can't open it yet the time isn't right" you tell me seriously.
"When will I know to open it?" I ask.
"Your heart will know" your whisper sounds in my ear.
I look down at the box's and wonder where you got them from.
I will wait forever if I have to as long as you smile my life is worthwhile.
The days pass by.
Easter is slipping away leaving only spring.
New life blooms and little ones appear everywhere.
I wait for the day when I will open the surprise you brought me.
My hear sings and I know it's time.
I open the box's, hands shaking and heart pounding.
