I'm EXTREMELY sorry if this has already been asked, but are guest artists chosen at random? I've seen the form, but none of the people who've done it are bad artists--so I just have to ask if maybe they're done a bit by skill?

When Hiccup opens the guest artist slots, people post the forms. It's the first four people who post the forms are those that get the slots. It realy depends on your time-zone as to when Hiccup will open the slots, to some they open in the middle of the night, to others the middle of the day. Anyone can be a guest, no matter what skill level they are C:
