I watched silently as my other five siblings played around dad and mom's legs. I just stayed comfortably by dad's back leg as he stood and watched everyone. I was smaller than most of the rest, some might call me the 'runt' of my litter. Eh, I could be considered that I guess. I'm more of a 'go with the flow' kind of pup. I'd rather stick closer to mom or dad than risk being trampled by all my other siblings. I continued to watch the rest play for a few moments before the biggest of my brothers came and tackled. I let out a small squeal and tried wiggling out from under him as he tried play-fighting with me. Mom and dad just over looked us like it was nothing. But it was, he was squishing me! I managed to slip out from under him and went to hide under a nearby piece of furniture as my family snickered at me.
((Meh, lazy back story but it's more to explain her personality.))

My friend had known of some wolves that had pups and that the parents were giving them to good homes. Both parents inspected the willing owner before carefully choosing if they were appropriate. I went, hoping to be allowed one of them. I walked up and a little purple pup with a mohawk ran up to me and sat right at my feet, staring at me. He seemed to be pondering me. I reached down and he licked my hand. Under his mother's watchful gaze, I picked up the pup. He immediately stared licking my face and nuzzling my neck. I knew right then that I was in love. I looked to the mother and she nodded, so I hugged the pup closer. "Come on, Hige," I said. "Let's go home".
