This is Darith. (name definitely subject to change)
Darith is swift and skilled. He often wonders how Shoko can be so clumsy! But balance does come naturally to him, and sadly doesn't to her. He is sharp and calculative. He proudly stands by his mate's side and supports her. He can't say that he is fully good, but his essence is darkness, not evil. The two aren't always affiliated as others seem to think. While his mate is the spirit of the moon, and light, he is the spirit of darkness, and shadows. In fact, the words "The Shadow" are displayed on his back in French as "Les Ombres". His necklace also bears the Japanese character for "Shadow", pronounced "Kage" (might be a good name suggestion). He is proud of his power and of his mate, Shoko.
Darith used to live as a normal wolf. But his grabdfather had the powers of a Darkness or Shadow Spirit. He had wonderful friends. That is until his grandfather died, and the power having a habit of skipping a generation, possessed him. He was now a Spirit Wolf, and no one wanted anything to do with him anymore. He became an evil wolf, because everyone either avoided him or picked fights with him. But he always remained unscarred because he was too quick for then, and he swiftly used his powers to deliver punishments to any who dared fight with him. But one say he realized that what he was doing was all wrong. Now an adult, he tried to mend his broken life. But the wolves in his pack hated and feared him so much, that he had no other choice than to leave and try to forge another life somewhere else. Then he met that beautiful Shoko and everything changed...
