She has not thrown a rider ever since she was befriended and is great for trail rides because of her laid back personality. She is great for new riders because she isn't energetic and will only go to a fast trot. Zuri is also great around children and she is gentle.
History:
Zuri was born on a small farm but was abused by a careless owner. She was found by the ASPCA when she was very ill and was brought back to health. She still had a strong distrust for humans as she was put up for sale. Many people came to look at her because of her markings, but her attitude towards people drove them off. A large ranch bought her and after many years of training Zuri began to trust humans. She now trusts humans and has her mellow, laid back personality.
