Okay, thank you ^^

I personally don't see what a lot of people have against these dogs. Just because they're an ode to the arts doesn't mean that they have to be all "artsy" or filled with lineart edits or whatever. When I first saw them, I knew right away that the word "arts" meant more than the visual arts. The word arts is a very broad word and encompasses a very large amount of things. I didn't know exactly what arts to expect but I did know that there wouldn't be enough room in one litter to include every single arts out there. And honestly, if the design of the dogs had been "artsy", I would've been extremely disappointed in the litter because of the fact that it's supposed to be an ode to -all- of the arts, not just the visual arts like drawing, painting, digital, etc. I love how the litter has a common base design that can tie them together as a litter but each dog takes that base design and makes it very unique for the art it's supposed to represent. The fact that the colors are similar, but not the same, does the same thing, it ties them together as a litter but still makes each dog pleasingly unique. While I agree that I would like them better without the chest stripes, that's only because I feel like they don't fit in with the rest of the design, not because they're off-putting or ugly or anything. It's part of the base design that the artist came up with and, with each growth, I've grown rather fond of the design as a whole.
Really? I like the chest stripes, actually, it's the stripe down the nose I think they could do without. Otherwise, I agree with you, they are absolutely beautiful - so much so I hoard them.
I don't really have much to say about this litter. While I do like the outcomes, I'm kind of disappointed with the litter in general. It's not because of how they were done or anything. It's more of the fact that I'm kind of tired of seeing the gear and swirl 2nd gens being used as parents for 3rd gens. It makes the site's variety a lot lower than I would like when it comes to 2nd gens and 3rd gens. These dogs were done wonderfully, it's just that the gear dogs and swirl dogs have alot more "family" on this site than any other litters and I would like to see some other litters used for 2nd and 3rd gens.I thought this myself, but I didn't really want to bring it up as I've not been around here for too long and I was scared it was maybe just my short experience of 2nd/3rd Gens. Although I think this litter is okay (and I adore the purple/grey/white one - hoarding that also haha) but this clockwork theme is becoming very repetitive, I'd really like to see some more glitter and glow in these Gens to shake off their bad reputation - are they just not dogs with an extra tag, after all?
