First, I apologize because I recently found out that my computer's resolution is very dark (Others see my works as too light because I make them light to be able to see them on the dark computer.) and so it didn't work quite like I wanted it to.
Since you are leaving C.S. I am not giving away the lines, they are mine. The pattern, however, if it is a winner is yours to keep. Thank you for letting me enter.
Edit: I worked a little on it at the library, it looks better but still not exactly what I wanted.
The face isn't supposed to look like a mask

but my computer wouldn't cooperate in my attempt to do a really dark blue that fades to light blue at high points. (Highlights). Anywhere light hits it's supposed to radiate a blue color but I didn't capture it quite like I would like because I cannot see it on this dark computer. I used a blue and burn to get it all darken except where the high points would be. Given a little time and experimentation, I could get it right, but it's 2AM my time and I just wanted to get it posted for ya since I know your deadline is the 10th. I would be happy to work on it more if you'd like, I know I can get it to look right if I go to the Library.
After all of that, I like how it came together. I was inspired by your favored pet called "Old Jack" for this work because I liked his markings. Also, I got inspiration for the background from a trip to the mountains where we came to a high viewpoint with a big meadow. All I could see in the meadow was a lot of little purple and yellow flowers (I think buttercups and violas?) for about 20 acres of meadow and there were an occasional little blue one (daisy like). As I looked further out, there was a drop off of the meadow and there were bunches of full bloom Rhododendrons which grow well at the edge of a good drainage and then you couldn't see much for about 5 miles across the gorge to the next mountain group which was all evergreen trees. It was a gorgeous view, I could see for probably a hundred miles but of course I didn't put that in my bg.
The front paws by the way are the body colors I used and the back are the rainbow colors. They are not necessarily the color of the animal's paw pads but they could be.
Please see also the colored in version which has wings and a "display" of what the wings look like opened up. They are too small for the wolf to fly, they are for displaying only.
I also created a "Helga" wig for the dog.
I would prefer that the lineart not be used off this site.
