Retsmah Has Chosen

The actress gave into an exaggerated sigh as she smiled, pranced and bowed to every suitor that've approached her. The little Faerre was getting tired, quite tired indeed. But when one with wings approached her, her curiosity got the better of her as she listened to the half cat half eagle creature talk with a stoic expression. He was gigantic and towered over the Faerre, casting his shadow over her, dwarfing her. But she was not afraid.

He was expressionless, emotionless and a bit blunt, causing Retsmah to flinch several times when his comments hit home. Who would've thought that this attribute of his would attract the young Faerre towards him even more?

He's lacking smiles. Retsmah thought to herself, as she looked into the crowd searching for that majestic creature. Seeing him, the drama loving Faerre hopped off the stage and ran happily to the creature with a silly grin on her face.

"You look horse like enough~" Retsmah giggled, then without a second's hesitation, she scrambled up the cat's back with ease and settled herself in between the spot of his majestic wings. "You just need a biiiiig smile~" She yawned, then promptly fell asleep within fur and feathers.

"It's only been several minutes, we're still setting up the sta-"
"Ugh! Move it!"
A white Faerre stepped out of the curtains, chest puffing, without waiting for the spotlight to reach him, Rota started his speech.
"Fools! I have no time to waste, why do you think I called this meeting? I will not wait behind curtains while you ready the stage in your sluggish speed! I have something to say, and I will say it now!"

The male Faerre that stood out from behind the curtains had stunning white fur, with paws dipped in bloody red colors and spots dancing across his white pelt. Rota's black ears twitched with irritation as he glared at the audience below, snarling and showing off his canines to those closest to him.

"I'm looking to visit new places, somewhere larger than Vinara preferably. I will need people to follow me and I'll need some servants and three full meals a day. I need books, and LOTS of them. I need loyalty to and call me Sir when addressing me. If you peasants think you can follow my orders and fulfill my wishes a hundred TWENTY percent, step up now, I hate waiting!" Rota growled irritably, his tail swishing from side to side angrily.

"HURRY!"

Rota will end the interviews on March 24th, 2012, HK time.

A Meeting between Rota and Bearru

"I'm looking to visit new places, somewhere larger than Vinara preferably. I will need people to follow
me and I'll need some servants and three full meals a day. I need books, and LOTS of them. I need loyalty to and call
me Sir when addressing me. If you peasants think you can follow my orders and fulfill my wishes a hundred TWENTY
percent, step up now, I hate waiting!" Rota growled irritably, his tail swishing from side to side angrily.

"HURRY!"

Bearru snorted at the arrogant Faerre. He steps up to him and eyes him in a glare. "Listen up Rota," he emphasizes it quite a bit. "I am one of the most fearless explorers, I did not have this appearance before." he gestures to the every sharp and glowing crystals on him. "If you wish to travel with me, you have to be tough and fearless, which I can sense from you, but you do not get luxuries, you need to toughen up and stop being what you are now." Bearru looks at him, his face stern and acting as if he's a drill instructor. "You see here, you want books? Listen to me, if you travel with me, you will not have time to read books. Because our adventures and travels will be dangerous and we would barely have leisure time." Bearru sits besides him, still raring to go on, "You see, we'll be on the run constantly from bandits, because what I do, is to find treasure that no one can imagine, and I bet you would love to seek treasure and have the ride of your life." he eyes him, seeing how willing Rota is. "Food will be scarce, or rather, we catch our own food, because that's what real men do, no one will give you fish or meat on a golden platter sir." he sneers a bit, Bearru a bit disgusted at his requests.

"Traveling with me, you'll have to fufill my wishes, you need to listen to every order, because it means life or death. Are you man enough to join my exploration?" he grins a bit, "Listen Rota, when you travel with me, you'll toughen up and learn that all the luxuries that you were taught were the best in the world, well it's not quite the best, adventuring and battling is one of the thrills of this outside world. I get the ladies because of these crystals, it's how I got my famous title, the explorer touched by crystals. I'm sure that if you join me in my expeditions, that you will too get your own exploration title." he nods at him, hoping his words are sinking in the Faerre. "You may think that my terms of traveling with me is tough, but it is good for you. You need to see another perspective on life. My training may be tough, but it's the quickest way to get out of here. Just imagine what everyone will think of you if you join me? Wow Rota is off to explore and get treasure, even with the dreamy Bearru." he laughs a bit, maybe stretching it a bit. Bearru sits up and begins to leave, but before he does, he throws a toy sword at him, "If you want to join me, you better train yourself before you join the ranks."

Cloud remained in the back of the crowd as he waited for the next presentation to begin. He raised his nose snootily, and he made sure that those closer to him did not touch his sleek grey fur. He would not allow such…commoners to touch him. He huffed slightly, a little impatient and annoyed that they would keep him waiting this long for the meeting to start.

His ears flicked slightly and he turned his bored eyes towards the stage as white fox sauntered out from behind the curtains. The stage wasn’t even finished being set up and the workers quickly moved objects aside as the white and blood red started pacing from one end of the stage to the other impatiently.

Cloud could not grin somewhat when Rota starting calling his demands. He carried high expectations for his future companion. Cloud could not help but agree. He would have demanded as much as well. He suddenly felt a kindred spirit towards this feisty spotted fox. They both shared the same likes and dislikes and expected lesser beings to bend to their every will. Maybe it could be enjoyable to travel with the other fox.

Cloud waited as a few potential companions stepped forward and tried to woo the fox to their favor. Instead of waiting in line like any common creature would, Cloud cut the line and hopped on the stage. He stared haughtily down his nose as the others, seeing if any would object when none did he stepped towards Rota.

The looked the other fox up and down before sitting down neatly in front of the multicolored fox. He dipped his head respectfully, his dark eyes never leaving Rota. ”My name is Cloud, and it is a great honor to be before you, O Magnificent Rota.” His voice held no trace of malice or mockery, instead it held a stead, almost friendly tone. He dipped his head again to show he was aware of the other’s status. ”I am aware that you plan to leave Vinara, and seek a place of much better…grandeur.” He said, looking around somewhat scornfully.

He turned his gaze back to the white fox. ”I too am about to leave Vinara, and would be quite honored if you were to accompany me on my next journey.” He said, his ears flicking slightly and his tail curling tightly against his back. ”Also in my travels I have accumulated tomes and novels of all kinds, plenty to keep you entertained on our explorations.” He added in, remembering that he had specifically demanded books.

Cloud stood up after he had dipped his head again. ”I will await your response, Sir Rota.” He said, before he turned to leave the stage. He flicked the end of his grey and blue scarf over his should as he returned to his seat. Impatiently, he waited for the interviews to end.

I walk up. 'What an impatient little fella.' I think, running to fetch Blaze. She agrees to come.

Me-

I step up to give my speech. "Ok, Sir Rota, I have the PERFECT life for you. I live in a big place and travel every winter and summer, sometimes spring. I have WAY too many books, so its all-you-can-read in my bedroom. I would get cranky if I didnt get 3 full meals a day, so youll be getting that. I know a boy who lives with us who I can make do anything you want him too." I say. I give a little bow, but not before wistleing the jepordy theme song.

"Out of my way." I growled at the man in front of me. Who stared at me and took a tiny step to the left. I wasn't here to play nice, I was here to see a faerre. But I doubted I'd be leaving with one. There probably weren't any good enough to impress me.

Taking a few more steps I looked onto the stage just in time to see a white flash and here a rude interjection spurt from the faerre's mouth. Definitely not impressive. He seemed rude and arrogant, and it seemed like he was trying to look brutal with the red stains. But unconciously I was walking toward him. I stopped short, at the foot of the stairs to the stage. Oh well, he's the only one here. Might as well talk to him, we may be friends.

"Rota, huh? Not a very 'intimidating' name, eh?" I say in a gruff voice, returning his devilish red glare,"I live in the mountains. You could visit . . . But I bet you couldn't make it up the mountain to get there." I snorted, smiling at him. I couldn't think of much to say so I just grinned at him,"It's something to think about, anyway." And with that I got up and walked away. Not even bothering to glance back.
