Cleaning Faerres rushed in and out from the curtains, setting up many, many different objects on stage. Audiences from beyond all looked up with expectation and confusion, just what is with the hassle?
The trumpets sounded, no, they sang for once. Different from the usual bleak 'C' note, the trumpets from the side trilled enthusiastically, as if welcoming someone of importance on stage. The Faerre that came out from behind the curtains was not The Queen though -she was already seated at the first row- but a cute common Faerre with golden markings blooming elegantly all over her body.
The Faerre skipped to middle stage, looked left, then right pausing dramatically before sweeping into a graceful bow towards the audience.
"How strange~ I don't see my castle anywhere~" The Faerre skipped to the side, looking around once more. "No... This place is strange. Filled with peasants and strange creatures... This is not a place princess Retsmah visited before." The Faerre turned a full circle, half showing off the beautiful engravings on her body she was gifted with when she was born. "Ah~ But it's not bad to travel once in a while~" Retsmah smiled, ducking behind a cardboard bush and peering out suspiciously. "But I must be careful... Yes... very.. very careful... there are lots of bad things out there..." Retsmah whispered cautiously, but her voice was cleverly manipulated so that everyone could hear her well practiced lines. Suddenly the pink Faerre leaped out from her hiding spot, knocking over the bush prop from the force as she skidded back to center stage, with a shy and uncertain grin on her face. "I am still waiting for my knight to come riding on a shining horsey you know?"

The creature soared high in the air, its raven black wings spread wide as he glided about. He gazed down at the altar a curious expression on his usal expresionless face as he watched the faerre. She was different from all the others that had stepped up before. This one acted almost..dramatic yet he could see how she covered up her being either afraid, lost, or maybe even a different personality. He hovered a bit lowering some altitude as he gazed at the faerre and the way she paused dramatically or acted like she was sneaking around. It was clever the way she appeared so proud and confident showing no weakness, yet at the end of her speech he breifly caught the flicker of shyness and uncertainty in her grin before it dissapered. He watched a small smirk appearing on his face as so many lined up to try and woo the young faerre who indeed acted like a 'princess', but in a...fun and almost concieted but joyous kind of way. His violet eyes trailed over the faerre's fur, it was glistening with golden markings, her honey-pink fur shining underneath but the golden markings stole the show. The eyes of the faerre a gental but brilliant almost ruby red. His smirk vanished as he watched one after the other many giving her gifts, either beautifully crafted necklaceses or wonderfully created trinkets. The faerre was indeed being treated like a princess as well, he chuckled quietly.
He watched soundlessly from the sky, no one knew he was there so he decended landing delicatly onto the ground below. He stayed in the shadows only his mysterious eyes glowing in the darkness. One after another others spoke to the princess, and the line seemed to ever grow longer as more sighted her. As the sun shone brightly and the sky bright and blue slowly changed to a sunset, and then slightly darkened he decided to appear from the shadows. He stretched his wings breifly before folding them back in and padding towards Retsmah. He waited quietly until he reached the altar himself and padded up the steps or rather step, since he was larger then the faerres. He didn't bow to Retsmah but stood maybe a feet away, a respectful distance but yet not rude. He didn't speak watching the young one quietly. His violet eyes shining brightly in the dimming light, a mask seemed to cover his face and his wings only slightly visable. "Retsmah, you have had a long day and more speeches soon to come. " he didn't even speak a hello. "I am not going or willing to say my name, no matter how much you beg or whine. You may learn my name one day, but until then it is a secret for you to find out." He watched her closely raising his eye-fur tufts..slightly. "I have no gifts for you, nor will I beg you to join me. " he raised his chin slightly in confidence. "I will not phraise you or keep complimenting you on your golden markings. I will not treat you like a princess but simply as an equal. " he met her gaze steadily not backing down if she challenged him. "Perhaps you have a great destiny ahead, or perhaps you'll simply live a life where you can travel meeting new friends, creating new things, and performing with great joy and happiness. I will not make that decision and no one else should make that decision for you." he glanced at the darkening sky then back down at the faerre. "Your performing skills, your markings, your...attitude." he watched her closely again to see her reaction "...are what make you" he continued in a level not challenging, admiring, or jealous tone. "I have qualities myself that I am proud on, and or want to improve or try to get rid of." he raised his chin slightly not embarressed or ashamed of his statement. "I may not be an actor, or a knight in shining armor for I am who I believe or want to believe that I am...you may want to know what that is but I cannot tell you." he dipped his head slightly kind of mysterious in a way.
He stretched his wings out "As you can see, I am able to travel great distances and hights, nothing to me is the limits." He let a smile cross his lips and his violet eyes turn slightly warm before his expressionless and mysterious gaze and expression appeared again. He gazed at her saying nothing letting the whistling of the breeze whril around the altar. His gaze was mysterious, but something hidden and almost secretive was hidden deep in them. Almost like he had a secret, or he was a mystery book just waiting to be opened. He dipped his head to Retsmah, and murmered one last thing only she could hear "You are a wonderful actress, but you can still improve and become the best you could ever be. Good luck, princess" he smiled softly at the ending amusement lighting the nickname. He spread his wings again and lept gracefully into the air and flew up towards the rising moon, until he returned to hear Retsmah's choice of companion.
