Remember to check the chat/spam thread of the Faerres, I'll be posting these small announcements/updates and special tibits on Faerres on there from now on!Ooh, the thread's turning out nicely! c:

Krahs Made His ChoiceAs expected, things were boring. Suitors after suitors, after suitors. They really need to get the hint, his annoyed face, his annoyed posture, didn't that explain everything already? There was one meeting that irked him most and just thinking about it makes his fur stand on end. A large creature with horns that toward over him and lectured him about needing a companion because a journey to find one's self is a hard path. Krahs huffed angrily, hoping off the Altar halfway through a suitor's speech and promptly marched himself towards the large Ahz. Without a second's hesitation the Faerre hopped onto the creature's back and climbed onto it's head so he could stare down the large buffoon.
"Now listen here creature, are you suggesting that I can't make this journey?" He huffed angrily, his posture screaming his hurt pride loudly. "Well guess what?" The Faerre pointed at the Ahz with a determined expression. "I'm going to prove you wrong! Your journey will never ruin me!" The Faerre sat down with a hmph, but settled with following Lokeash for now anyways. This arrogant creature, I'll prove that I'm better.
Krahs has... um... chosen you, Horneddragon

The horns flared once more, announcing yet another event of a leaving Faerre. It seems the Faerres are starting to warm up to the prospect of getting to interact with the mortals once more.
A peculiar Faerre stepped out from the curtains her ears perking up in interest as she glanced at the gathered creatures below.
"How interesting~" She mused to herself, her thin tail swishing from side to side. Citrin stepped up to the crowd her dark eyes twinkling with anticipation as she spoke loud and clear.
"Hello all~" She grinned, accessing the faces in front of her carefully. "I'm Citrin, a passionate mechanic~ I love working with gears and the smell of oil, though Mama did tell me that it's not healthy." The Faerre seem to be lost in her own thoughts for a moment before snapping back with a slight jump. "Oh, I heard that the outside world has fascinating mechanics~" she crowed, eyes sparkling with curiosity as she stepped eagerly to the front. "I would love to see some of them... perhaps... take them apart, build new things... and oooh... the new possibilities...." The Faerre murmured to herself, lost again in thoughts oblivious to the fact that she's still standing on stage, addressing thousands gathered below. But it seems, Citrin is the type to be easily distracted...
Forms will be judged in 2 days, March 20th, HK time.

Lifting her twinkling dark eyes to the sky, Citrin allowed herself a huge grin; it was a foggy day. Normally faerres were not fond of foggy, rainy gloomy days, but now was the chance for Citrin. Her mother wouldn't allow her to touch machinery at normal times, saying 'You need to play'. However, since the day was rainy, what could she say?
Citrin bounced around the 'garage'; a place where she store the spare metal and gears. Today was the day of importance. She had continously making sketches, ideas, and had daydreamed for many days, until she had finally come up with an idea for a present, an innocent gift, to the queen.
I may not have magical abilities, she always told herself. But I do have a thing with machiens. I'm sure the Queen can find good use of my skills. . .
Soon, it would be time for her to go up to the Queen; soon, she would be an adolescent, ready for the queen to judge her role. She already knew she didn't have magical abilities, she was sure of that- however, she was indeed proud of her extraordinary skills with technology, and was determined to show the queen how useful she could be to all of Vinara.
She told her mother that she would go to her sanctuary, and immediately locked herself into the small, rather cramped and messy room. As easily as she was distracted, her room was quite a huge mess.
She pulled out a hammer, nails, and some other useful tools with grease and oil in them. She took out a few metal bits, and also some random materials; cushions, oil, and even food.
Giving a mischievous grin, she let her paws go to work.
"No!" yelled Cit. She motioned with her paw and easily threw the big metal block accross the room. The onlookers stared at her.
