Reason why you want to adopt it:Well, i cam upon this place a long time ago, but none of the Daeets available for adoption really sparked my interest (no offense intended, but i'm really picky with the creatures i adopt. I only ever try out if i REALLY adore them :3) After a while, this lovely lad came around. He isn't as brightly colored as the others, which hints at some sort of sadness, like his closed eyes are trying to block out the world.
Desired name:Hmm.... not sure. Maybe Ajan, which means silver in Haitian Creole. (real creative, right :3. But i think it suits him....)
Age:Well, right now he's just a newborn, but i'd say about four if i was using him in books or ordering art for him (which i most deffinetly will be doing if i adopt him :3)
Personality:His lighter markings and deep purple blanket, like i said above, hint at simplicity but elegance. The gray makes him seem a bit sad, and proud, and maybe even a bit arrogant :3. His purple blanket reminds me of royalty, which in turns reminds me of pride and arrogance again :3. But i see something inside of him, a flame, a strength the color of silver and as hard and sharp as iron. :3. There i go again, getting all poetic.
History:History of him? Well, if he was my Daeet, he would be born into a royal family. He would know luxury, and nothing of sadness or death. Then his mate, Calorhae, would die. He would go a bit mad, and run away from the palace. He would wander into my yard, a big, starving, silver creature clutching a purple scrap of cloth and crying big crocodile tears.
Naturally, me, being the inquisitive one, would nurture him back to health. When he decides to leave, i would go with him. My house, with my mother expected to have a baby every year, was crammed with children. Naturally i would feel a bit cramped, being the oldest child. So i would leave with my new-found companion, traveling the world and seeing great wonders.
Where will it be used?In books, stories (his design and species will be credited to you) and he will probably be given a spot on my favorite characters thread, which is not yet published. Not as a fursona, of course, but as a beloved adopted Daeet :3.
How will you use it?Probably in a book/short story, in poems, art, etc.
