I recently read (I know you're all going "what does Harry Potter have to do with this asdfgjkl", hang on, I'll explain)
here is a link to the article.
Now, while there isn't (to my knowledge) of a group of people out to ban any movies showing wolves as 'bad guys', I still think the article is similar enough to compare to this situation as well.

There are a few wolf negative movies out there, but what does that matter?
If they cause some people to hate wolves, then so be it. Those people are obviously uneducated, it’s not a big deal-they will learn the truth sooner or later. And even if they don’t, does it matter? Like I said, no one will go on a wolf poaching rampage just because of a movie.
Hating an animal just because of a movie isn’t very smart, but people can do what they wish with their lives. It’s just an opinion, and the world won’t go into utter chaos just because someone hates wolves.
And I also noticed that most of those movies are about werewolves, not wolves. Now, I’m not saying anyone that does believe in therians/werewolves is wrong, but have they ever really been proven to exist? No, of course not. I don’t think many people will hate wolves because of a werewolf movie.
A lot of those movies were made a long time ago, too.
Like cerulean blue. said, people pay to watch a fictional movie, not a documentary.
You said they should ‘think of something new’- well, they do. All the time. Is every single movie that comes out in theatres focussing around man-eating wolves? No. Point proven.
