Following Medli's return to Ahzen, the Vortex seemed to wake as if from a temporary slumber. The glittering swirls of the vortex became bathed in gold, the shimmering light reflecting off of the water around it brilliantly. But, as if teasing the suitors, it waited, holding back the new Ahzenai. It stayed like this a long time, the suitors watching with large eyes and the Vortex seeming to be still one more. Finally the suitors began to walk away dejectedly, and as they did a sleek, well-muscled Ahzenai leapt agressively from the Vortex, his teeth bared and claws outstretched in a menacing roar of battle. He seemed to hover in the middle of his pounce before landing, making one stride then stopping in an aggressive pose, as if waiting for someone to attack. "Theseus!" Valcyon announced from his perch, the gold Ahzenai changing his demeanor immediately. He stood straight and proud, bowing his head deeply to Valcyon. "My lord," he replied before lifting his head, turning then to the suitors. Then he bowed his head again. "Thank you all," he began, his voice deep, one of a gladiator, a soldier. "I am Theseus, and I suppose I shall take a companion, seeing all of you here to greet me." Theseus paused. "I welcome you to approach me, do not be shy. But I do have expectations; I will not leave with just anyone. It must be someone who is physically fit and keep up with me, while also being honorable. I will not take anyone with a tainted soul," he finished that last sentence with a slight snarl before regaining his bearing and sitting to await those who would approach.

Woo: I stood in amazement at the strong gladiator-like Ahzenai. I ran up to the fit Ahzenai, and bowed. "My name is wajas, and I would like to be your companion. I have descended from the finest family of athletes, running, hiking, and exercising is my life. I jog 6 miles each morning, and 4 at night. When I was raised, obedience and being fit were the top priorities. We would jog each morning, and jog each night. We would do push-ups, sit-ups, and other extensive exercises to be physically healthy. I am of German descent, fine-built muscles from the day I was born, and a huge statima for working. I love exercising, it is my life. I want a companion to have when I go out and make my muscles stronger, being capable to lift heavier things each day. I want to be healthy, strong, fast, and hard to become tired. If you do to, please join me.
I want to be loyal and honest to you, obeying you as you would to me. I want to treat you with the treatment you need, the treatment you deserve. I will always consider you an elder; a person to look up to and respect their wisdom. I want to be honest to you, telling you the truth rather than tellin you what you want to hear. Sometimes, it is better to hear the truth rather than what you want to hear. I want to be loyal to you, being at your side/aid when you need me to. Or to be there when you want company, or someone to talk to. I will always listen and respond, no matter what.
I have had no Ahzenai, and would like to have one. I would like to have someone to share my soul with, my life. I would like someone to comfort, share laughs, and to enjoy life with.
Just like the samurai of Japan, I will protect you, if I need to, to the death. I would like a companion, and I see you would too. What do you say, lord Theseus?" I asked with an acknowledged bow of respect.

Short Woo: Twi walked towards the beautiful, dark creature in front of her nervously. Wait, nervous wasn't the right word. Apprehensive. She walked up apprehensively to the creature, the one who must be goddess of beauty. Shaking her head slightly, the brown, dull hair falling in her face, she reached up to push the hair out of her way, then straightening up her glasses. She patted the bag beside her casually, before finally reaching the beauty.
"Hello, fair maiden," recited Twi, the often repeated words running through her head."I come in attempts to be your loved one." She pulled a simple but elegant bronze-toned brush from her bag, and began brushing the goddess' fur in smooth, short strokes. After about 20 minutes of brushing, Twi finished and added a light spray of scented water to add a shine and scent to the gorgeous fur. Then, with a small giggle of pride at how far she had gotten, she took out two small silver butterfly clips, and fastened them to the front of Medli's mane. They glistened in the darkness (as odd as that is O.o) and brought out the yellow in her fur.
Pulling out one final gift of farewell, she took out a simple red bow. Simple really was her thing, but she always went for that which was the more elegant of such simplicity. She handed it eagerly to Medli, and performed a quick curtsey. "Thank you, dear Medli, for this chance to meet you. I appreciate it so greatly you can not know. And if you every should fall curious, my name is Twi." And with those simple words, she walked away quickly and gracefully.
Sum up why you want this Ahzenai: I'd love Medli as my first character. I have a few My Little Pony characters, but no true characters that I can get art of and such. She really has a gorgeous and graceful design, which is probably the only one I've connected with since the one who was from the military. Thank you for reading, by the way!

Here's Oriax's personality ^^:



As his markings suggest, Oriax seems to suffer from a sort of split personality disorder. Depending on what side of him is in control at the moment, he could be a complete sweetheart or a total jerk. The more 'angelic' side of him is kind, caring, empathic, and carries an immense love for anything pretty, like flowers, or shiny, like jewelry. On the other side of the spectrum is his 'demonic' half, the part of him that enjoys tormenting others and causing pain. This darker side of him has a nearly obsessive love for fire, and therefore is often seen studying Ahzenai with the plasma element like himself or starting small fires. While the two sides of this split soul are polar opposites, the being that is Oriax agrees with himself on a few things. He hates being treated as if he is stupid just because of his 'condition', enjoys eating beef jerky, and is fiercely protective over his human companion, Shiloh, and his fellow Ahzenai companion, Shibiu. Every once in a great while, Oriax's personalities reach a balance and is he relatively stable, but don't expect that to be happening too often.

His attention was drawn from his bouncing tennis ball and towards the Vortex once it began to stir. His eyebrows slightly raising as he watched it closely. Expecting another unwanted Ahzenai to come leaping from it. Once the Vortex seemed to begin to tease and taunt them, he simply rolled his eyes and went back to bouncing the worn out tennis ball.His eyes did not give the Vortex a second glance till he heard Valcyon yell the name, Theseus.
The name seemed to fit this Ahzenai very well. It did after all mean, "Gift of God". Why wouldn't it fit this golden colored fighter? From his raging red eyes, his radiant coat, and his valiant spirit, all of it spoke towards him, an Ahzenai that loved the call of war, and would never shy away from an opponent.
He liked this..Theseus.

He smirked lightly as he leaned off of the tree, snatching the bouncing ball before him and walking proudly towards Theseus as he sat there, head held high, in a proud manner. His eyes falling on the other suitors as the watched Theseus with "gaga" eyes, as he liked to call them. Making an annoyed huff come from him as he ventured closer to Theseus. He wasn't going to wait for these unworthy suitors to woo this proud warrior. He wouldn't allow it at all. With one glare at the next person up, that one stepped aside and let him go infront. A triumphent smirk on his face as he stepped before Theseus. A bow of the head going towards the Ahz, as a sign of respect of course.
"The great and mightly Theseus. How it is such an honor to be before one such as yourself." He said with a hint of pride as he gave a warm smile towards the Ahz.
"My name is Mart, I am one that is, like yourself, a fighter, and one that does not allow defeat unless it is my last option. I would truely enjoy seeing some examples of your fighting methods. From one fighter to another, give tips, battle for fun, nothing more than simple training as I would call it. Of course though, once battle does call for ones such as ourselves. I would truely be honored to have one such as yourself accompany me into the war as the drum beats the battle cry." He told Theseus as he bounced the tennis ball twice. Watching Theseus with a warm glare as he smiled lightly once more.
"So, mighty Theseus, are you as good as a fighter as you claim to be?" Mart questioned him in a teasing tone as his smile slowly faded away as he bowed his head in respect once more.
"If you wish to except this small "challenge", I shall be waiting near the tree not to far from here." He told the Ahz as he slowly walked off and back towards the tree he was leaning against once more. Bouncing the ball quietly as he whistled to himself.

I studied the new Ahz that appeared from the Vortex. Theseus. What a lovely ring that name had. Theseus. The only thing that worried me a bit is the unusually aggressive pose he had for a few seconds, until Valycon called his name. I wonder...
A bit tense, but very reasonable and respectable. Honorable. Yet expects much, I mused. A born fighter, though. And still somehow gracious, despite his imitating looks. I thought about wooing him for quite a while. My human companion, Bridge, wasn't here, though... I weighed my options and soon decided in favor of wooing him. I mean, why not? Even if he was a tad bit intimidating...
"Oh why not?" I mouthed to myself as I walked up to Theseus.
"Hello, Theseus," I said, with a slight bow. "My name is Kiriyn. My human companion, Bridge, isn't here, but I guess I will speak for her. I've been with her long enough to know what she'd say."
I suddenly felt a bit unsure of Theseus, and it irritated me in a way that made me unusually afraid. This must be what many call "being nervous."
"I find you a very interesting character," I continued, a bit hesitant, "for you seem to be aggressive, yet so very curteous. I know you're a fighter, but I take it that you don't want to destruct. No, you woudn't want to destruct. I think you'd fight for what you believe in. You'd fight for the ones who cannot fight. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what I see in you. I don't know what to make of you. You seem like an Ahz full of pride, then an Ahz with intimidating looks, and then an Ahz with manners and flamboyance. Your personality seems to be everywhere." I chuckled a bit, still wary and...nervous.
I stretched and paced in front of him slowly, trying to determine what he was thinking. "Yes," I admitted, "I don't look like I have much energy to keep up with you. But if it's for something, something I truely believe in, I will do so with great zeal. Bridge will do so as well. She has much energy. A bit too much at times..." I chuckled to myself, remembering her energy spasms.
I cleared my throat and continued. "If there's one thing I have 100 percent of, it's my determination. I will always do, not try. I will gladly assist you on journeys to the unknown. I will gladly fight alongside you. For good, though. Not for the pleasure of harming another. I know Bridge wouldn't. Although she can be naive, I know she will not fight for evil purposes. And I know I won't."
I smiled and was about to finish when I remembered how he took upon an aggressive stance as he lept from the Vortex. I frowned a bit, unsure whether to bring it up. Well...why not? I scraped up my confidence and courage and started to speak.
"Now that I think about it, I remember you taking on an aggressive stance when you appeared from the Vortex. Maybe it's just the warrior side of you, I don't know...you just seemed so aggressive. Whatever made you act like so, I don't know. I guess it's up to you to tell whomever you may choose. You have the right to your own private thoughts, but it's always good to tell someone you trust your true feelings. It lifts the weight you never knew you carried."
I forced a corner of my mouth up in an attempt to smile. I sat up straight and looked at Theseus with gathered confidence.
"Well, it was nice to have had a chance to talk to you. I guess I'll be waiting to see who you'll pick," I said, flicking my tail involuntarily.
"Thank you for taking your time to listen to me, Theseus," I said softly, dipping my head in respect. Then I stepped away from Theseus and walked towards a nearby rock.
I guess all I have to do now is wait.
