Ah thank you. I'm working on a form and just realised I needed to ask that xD. So (just to clarify) a ram of 3 or 4 would be eligible for prince.

They generally hit adulthood just before their second birthday, so one that hasn't yet been prepped for 'Princehood' would likely be eligible about that time after some training. If he'd been selected beforehand, he could be eligible at 2 years old.

Anyways, I love this round's goennecs. The penguins are so cute~
I'm working on a form for #5, but I just have a question first. Would a goennec ever live in or near a city? I'm not sure just how close they'd be willing to get to humans. ^^

Goennec Pen #: 5
Name: Shard
Gender: Physically female; refers to himself as male.
Age: 7
Family: Half brother of Gypsy.

Why do you want this goennec?: I absolutely love his design. Everything from the spots to the colors to that awesome tail. He's such an interesting, unique goennec that I really want to be able to call my own. I have so many ideas for his story, and everytime I see him I get a few more. He's just the kind of character that I've been looking for.
How would you use this character?: He'll be a much loved part of my herd, and will join the rest of my goennecs in being drawn constantly. I will certainly continue his story and maybe enter him into the RP if he fits in there. he would also be used to try and develop Gypsy's character more, as she would rather drive away other goennecs than interact with them. She needs someone to trust and a more outgoing goennec to convince her to join the others of my herd. She would, in turn, be a much needed friend for Shard.

Define your Goennec:
Bugs. There were bugs everywhere. Biting, scratching, and crawling.
He could feel them- every second of every day. He saw them, too. Little moving black dots. Little dots that no one seemed to be able to see. Little dots that made him scream out in terror, to kick and scratch at his fur until he bled.
They never listened. They never believed him.
But they never saw the bugs. They never felt their skin crawl. And he hated them for it.

Personality; A broken, shattered mess of a goennec- Shard is basically what his name would imply. He can remember a time before his mind was clouded by bugs, he's just unable to reclaim it.
Shard suffers from near constant hallucinations, mostly consisting of bugs crawling on his skin.
Despite his constant frustration with other goennecs, who simply don't seem to understand why he's constantly scratching at his skin or why he has such short horns for a male [he tends to refer to himself as female to those he's just met- much less confusion that way] or having to explain that he's not going to spread some kind of strange skin disease to them, he genuinely wants to make friends and be respected.
But it's eventually the screaming that scares them away, or his eyes darting from side to side, to nervous to meet their gaze. Regardless of his efforts, his presense tends to set others on edge. He's refered to himself as a ghost more than once, and is becoming increasingly convinced that this is true.
It's not anything that he's doing wrong, or even the fault of the others who reject him. He's spent much of his life trying to fend for himself, often surrounded by other goennecs but never quite able to understand them. He doesn't know when he's being too strange, or when he's doing something that others find unerving. [such as the lack of eye contact]

Shard is incredibly intelligent and curious, always wanting to find an answer to every question and every puzzle. He's never content with just leaving something unanswered- that takes away all the fun. He's more than content to just sit around and think, or scratch little designs in the dirt at his feet. So long as he keeps his mind off the bugs- a task that's quite a bit easier to accomplsih with a complicated puzzle on your hands, then he's content.


Likes; Gypsy- Shard cares deeply for his younger sister, despite her somewhat abrasive personality. She's pretty much the only family Shard has left, and one of the few goennecs that has stuck by him through all of his screaming fits. He has quite a bit of respect for the tough little doe and is one of the only goennecs that she fully trusts.
silence- Something that shard has found hard to come by. It's hard to escape his racing thoughts, and he can't stand loud noises. He likes being alone and relaxed, rather than constantly on edge.

Dislikes; bugs-
his mind-
his tail- The result of years of biting and scratching at his skin, it serves as a reminder of the bugs that plague him and the effects of his madness. Though his fur is riddled with bald spots, his tail is the most obvious and greatest source of shame for the goennec. Thick scar tissue prevents fur from growing back, giving it almost scaly appearance and earning him the nickname "Lizard Tail."
