Where you can adopt a fluff fox
What is a Fluff Fox?
A fluff fox is a cat-sized, sheep-like fox covered in tons of fluffy fur. The have so much fur that they sometimes are mistaken for oddly colored sheep. In the wild they live in the tundra or Alpine forests, their thick fur is to keep them warm. They are carnivores though when prey is scarce they may eat an insect or berry. Their prey consists of small mammals and birds, and occasionally a wild turkey or fish. They live in small packs usually with 2-6 members, when with a pack they might be able to take down a turkey or hare. They are social and it is rare to find one by itself. Fluff foxes' fur can be a wide range of colors, the base is usually a light or pale color while the markings can be any color and any shade. Since they have such strange colors, they are not masters of camouflage. But beneath all that fur the have longs legs and lots of stamina that helps them run at prey from a distance, they also have soft pads with fur between the toes that makes them almost silent as they run.
They have three types of tails, long ones which are cat-like but a half a tuft of fur at the end. Bob tails, which a very short, and the common Bushy tail.
When domesticated, Fluff foxes are very good pets, they hardly ever shed (but in summer you may have the cut their fluffy fur so that they don't die of the heat) they are very loyal, and they are extremely smart. They can learn complex tricks easily and seem to know if they did something wrong, even if you don't say anything. There are also farms for these creature's, where people keep them and in the summer they sheer them like sheep and sell the fur to make coats or hats. This does not hurt the foxes, it actually helps them, because they are used to cooler temperatures they get very hot during the summer. Their fur is one of the softest ever and very comfortable, it keeps the warm in and the cold out.
Fluff foxes are very loyal and when they mate they stay mates forever, unless the other one dies, the occasionally the one that's left might choose a new mate. They have litters of 1-3 pups, pups are weened at two months old and they have thins coats when born. In the wild it is crucial for them to stay in the den until they are two months old or else their fur won't be thick enough to keep them warm.
