You're only allowed two forms for the P kennels and one for the F kennels at one time, Bubbles. ^^; You'll have to drop one, I'm afraid.

Fairwell Chickensmoothie! It was a good run.

If there is anyone who I unfortunately left any loose ends open with when I originally disappeared from the site near the end of 2012, you're welcome to drop a PM if you'd like to try to resolve them. It has admittedly been far too many years for me to remember precisely what all may have been left unsettled.

In addition, if anyone sees this and would like to try to reestablish contact, you're more than welcome to drop me a message as well. I'll try to poke my head in over the next few months at the least in case any of the above happens, but cannot guarantee how often messages will be checked after that.

Best Regards,
HOWLING

I am looking to adopt...
Picture: Image
Kennel number: F31
Name: Christmas Spirit
Breed: Diceapillar
Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?:
Why: I love his design so much - I had never heard of a Diceapillar before now, but I think they're a great idea. He looks like an amazing character and I fell in love with him the moment I saw him, I didn't even bother to look at the others, because I knew he was the one I wanted. I don't have many characters, because I prefer to have just a few so I can love them all.
What I will do: I will make sure he is always loved and give him lots of art. I only have two characters right now, so you can be sure he will get a lot of attention. If I ever have to give him up (which I hope never happens) then I will make sure to bring him back here and watch him until he gets a loving home.
Personality: He is always spreading happiness and joy to others - he never thinks of himself. He wants only for others to be happy, nothing more.
Likes:
-Spreading happiness
-Joy
-Love
-Winter
Dislikes:
-Hate
-Evil
-Sadness
History/Background: He is lost. The only thing he lived for was his friends, and now they're gone. They left him because they were jerks. They left him alone, when he needed them most. They left him alone, in solitude. He vowed then that his only purpose in life was to make others happy; to make sure what happened to him never happened to anyone else. He now makes people happy in any way he can. He told himself that he would not rest until everyone was happy.
Art: download/file.php?mode=view&id=78117
I'm not the best artist, especially with dogs, but if I got this character I think that he would help me improve a lot.
Other: I'm still working on it :)

we gotta live before we get older
do what we like we got nothing to lose
shake off the weight of the world from your shoulders
oh, we got nothing to prove

i said hey, it's alright
does it make you feel alive
don't look back,
live your life
even if it's only for tonight
i said hey, it's alright
if it makes you feel alive

'A revolution can be neither made nor stopped. The only thing that can be done is for one of several of its children to give it a direction by dint of victories.'
-Napoleon Bonaparte.

Kennel number: P88

Name: Jeremy Martél

Of French origin- Martél being a nickname for a blacksmith, derived from old French martel "hammer", ultimately from Latin martellus.

Breed: Irish Wolfhound / Human.

Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?: Hnnnnng. I've had my eye on this boy for so long now. His donation picture was pretty, and I wanted him, but I just couldn't think of a use that would do him justice. If I was going to have him, I wanted him to be used. Then his revamp came, and my eyes nearly fell out of my head. But still I could think of nothing that he would fit into. Then last night I had a dream about the Napoleonic War- so detailed that it actually scared me. I went straight on the internet and researched it within an inch of it's life, and suddenly had a strong urge to write a story about it. I spent today evening drafting characters, a setting and a plot- which follows the life of three young soldiers [hopefully including Jeremy], two young women and two beggars all living in a war torn area of France. They are inexplicably linked through their actions, and have a bloody, terrifying journey ahead in which each plays a part. Jeremy will play himself: a twenty three year old officer in the French Imperial Army, that hides two English refugees [the beggars] in his basement under the care of his sister, while he's at war. If I got him, he would be loved dearly. With each chapter I write, I hope to get one large art piece as a summary, kind of like illustrations to the book. POH would be updated regularly of his adventures, and he'd have a home on my character website. Thank you for the opportunity to go for such an amazing character <3

'Great ambition is the passion of a great character. Those endowed with it may perform very good or very bad acts. All depends on the principles which direct them.'
-Napoleon Bonaparte.

Personality: Jeremy is a character of great kindness. This could be considered one of his weaknesses, as it often affects his actions and judgement while he's working. Saying this, Jeremy is excellent at what he does.

Likes:
Dislikes:

'In order to govern, the question is not to follow out a more or less valid theory but to build with whatever materials are at hand. The inevitable must be accepted and turned to advantage.'
-Napoleon Bonaparte.

History/Background:
Picardy, France- 1803.

It all started yesterday. The street callers ran like the devil was chasing them- up and down the cobbled street, knocking over market stands and sending fruit rolling across the paving. Their voices called together in a cacophony of chaos, a grim morning chorus as it was not yet dawn. Henri- my father, that is- awoke and made himself a hot drink in silence. Clicking to one of our spaniels, he took the dog and moved out onto the veranda, surveying the street with a furrowed brow and indifferent eyes. I was reminded of a hawk roosting, as he sat there; hands clawed with arthritis slotted together on his lap. My father waited, and spoke not one word. He watched the newspapers being handed out, heard the cries of dismay, saw the stream of curious boys begin to make their way into the city. Then, he stood and folded his cup into my hands. Meeting my gaze, he said one simple sentence to me. "Off you go, then." He said. "We're at war- why are you still here?"

That was exactly a month ago, today. The memory is still fresh in my head- his desperation to have a martyr as a son, one that he could boast about amongst his friends was so great he seemed to forget the almost certain fact I would not be returning. Picardy was aware of the brewing war- and it's citizens knew the life cycle of such a battle. Our town would be quiet, from now on.

'The battlefield is a scene of constant chaos. The winner will be the one who controls that chaos, both his own and the enemies.'
-Napoleon Bonaparte.

Can I add a previously adopted character into her history? :3 I have the perfect place planned for her alongside Prida (and Joey) but I though it was best to make sure that was okay first. c:

"Baby, you're mine. Mine. Nobody is going to change that. Not you, not him, and definitely not that useless, runty farm dog. You listen to me. You're not going anywhere. Not without me."

I am looking to adopt and love forever...

Kennel number: P92 | Number Ninety-Two

Name: Genevieve

Name pronunciation: JEN-a-veev

Name meaning/origin: It is of French origin. Possibly (Old German) "white wave" or (Celtic) "of the race of women".

Nickname(s): Eve, Evie, Jen, Patches.

Sebastian's "pet names": Baby, Darlin', Sweet-cheeks, Duckling.

Gender: Female

Age: Approximately 3 years. She has taken care to keeping count of her age, but she isn't sure whether her ways are that reliable.

Size: 20.5 inches at the withers.

Breed: Atlas Mountain Dog, also known as Aidi.
The Atlas Mountain Dog (also known as Aidi, or Aïdi) has existed for four or five millenia in the mountains of North Africa where he was used to guard flocks and property against jackals, bears, wolves and other predators. Always alert and ready for action, Aidi was especially valued for his independent thinking, loyalty to his duty and a remarkable ability to detect the presence of snakes. Faithful, affectionate, docile and very protective of his family, Aidi is somewhat aloof with strangers, but is never aggressive.

Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?:
I fell in love with this gorgeous girl the moment I saw that she had been donated here. She really is one beautiful dog. She looks slightly puppy-like, which is what gave me the idea for her story, and her personality. I'd vowed not to get another character for a while, simply because I'm working on stories for them right now, and I thought I had all the characters I needed, but as soon as I set eyes on Genevieve I knew I had to try for her, and I also knew that I had the perfect place for her in my story. She'll be the main female protagonist - alongside Prida - and I'll make sure her story is just as amazing as she is.
The first thing that caught my attention was her name. It's beautiful, and suits her completely. It is so unique, and when I looked up the meaning and origin I knew it was hers. I wouldn't have changed it even if it was allowed. Why would I? How fitting for her to have a name of French origin - the language of love. And the meaning(s) suggest a strong and independent individual, which I think fits her perfectly. I admit that I probably wouldn't have thought to give her a name such as this if she didn't have one, but I thank the person who gave it her a million times. It just suits her, and I love it.
However, it was her face that made me realise that I had to put up a form for her. She just looks so innocent, with her floppy ears and big brown eyes. It just stole my heart. Who couldn't love someone like her? Her eyes also gave me an idea for her story, when I saw it seemed as if they were trying to tell me something. Ah, I can't even fully explain how I feel about her. So I'll leave this explanation here, and put in her story what I can't express here.
I promise that if she does come back with me, I'll make sure she has everything. A best friend, a loving home, a story that will grow as she grows. She'll be showered in art, and will have a forever home on my character thread. I would make sure she was given everything she deserves. c:

History/Background:
"I'm back darlin'. And I've brought you a present." Sebastian's powerful voice cut through the silence of the alley, and Genevieve raised her head briefly from her paws. She stayed silent, waiting for him to appear in the alley entrance. When he did, his muscular body looking even bigger and prouder than usual, she drew back into the shadows. There was another dog with him. A small one, that cowered almost to the ground, shaking with... fear? Pain? The dog's size made Sebastian look even bigger, even meaner. He seemed to have realised this, and when he stepped forwards Genevieve could see the smug smile spreading even wider across his face as he herded the smaller dog forwards. Inching out of the nest she created for herself, Genevieve looked more closely at the dog. It was a she, and was shivering uncontrollably now, shooting fearful glances at her and Sebastian, muttering something repeatedly under her breath.
Sebastian growled threateningly, looming over the young dog - she wasn't as old as Genevieve, which made her still basically a puppy.
"I thought I told you to shut up. You've been whimpering the whole way here, give me some peace."

The dog flinched at once, cowering so low that her stomach pressed against the damp floor of the alley. "Sebastian--" Genevieve began, rising fully to her paws. Instantly she wished that she hadn't - even she towered over the youngster, and she was picked on by the other alley dogs for being small. The little dog quailed, sinking flat to the ground, her eyes pressed shut.
Sebastian shot the dog a look of complete disgust, jumping over her neatly to pass Genevieve. "Get it out of sight, will you? I don't want my reputation tainted by a unintelligent farm mutt."
Choking back a gasp, Genevieve replied in an undertone, her eyes darting to the "farm mutt", "Did you kidnap her? Sebastian, I thought you said it would be just us." She didn't want any other dogs going through what she had to. His continual moaning, fits of rage, obsession with fighting... this little dog wouldn't survive her. Hell, she only just survived here, and she'd been with Sebastian since they were both young.
"Her mother had some... debts to pay. She's staying, at least for a while. Keep her quiet. Don't be afraid to hurt her if it shuts her up."
"You know I'd never do anything like that! She's only young! Oh Sebastian, how could you?"
The larger dog let out a snarl, "Just keep her out of my sight. She's yours now, your responsibility. I don't care what happens to her. Throw her out on the streets if you don't want her."
For a moment, Genevieve stared at him, her mouth open. Then she regained her composure, and gave a nervous laugh, casting a look about the alley. "What do you mean, mine? She's a dog; dogs don't own other dogs. You make it seem like she's..." Her voice trailed off, and she lowered her gaze. Sebastian's fury-filled gaze told her to shut her mouth. This was going too far for his liking.
"She's yours." He paced away without a backward glance, disappearing out of the alley. Genevieve let out a sigh. What had he done?

Genevieve closed her eyes for a few moments. The alley was silent again, apart from "her" little dog's frantic breathing, and the constant rustle of rats scurrying through piles of month old human rubbish. She would have to take this one step at a time. She was used to sorting out Sebastian's messes. It was routine work for her now. Though sometimes, she wished she could have a break. Just a day would be nice, a day to relax and let her worries float away. Or maybe a day was too much to ask for, she'd even settle for an hour. But right now, she just had to get to work straightening out his latest problem. Opening her eyes again, her gaze found the little dog pressed against the ground, looking up at her with fear-filled blue eyes. "Your eyes are a pretty colour." Genevieve blurted out impulsively. The younger dog's eyes widened, and she hesitated for a moment, as if she thought the words were a trick. Then she smiled slightly, "Thank you." She whispered, although her shivering seemed to intensify.

"Why don't you come over here? You're shaking, you must be freezing!" She was offering the little dog a choice. She could either say that she was cold, which meant that she didn't want to talk about what Sebastian had done, or she could blurt out her whole life story and explain everything. If she didn't want to talk about it yet, that was fine. She wouldn't want to either.
"Yes, I'm quite cold. We were travelling for a long way. I fell in a puddle, and I... I couldn't get dry and stay warm after that." She crept up to the patch that Genevieve had indicated to, collapsing onto the soft blankets with a whimper of relief. Genevieve settled herself down beside her, not close enough to touch - she didn't want to overwhelm her - but so that her body would help warm up her's. The little dog shot her a still nervous glance, "Are you Sebastian's mate?" She asked in a quiet voice.
After a brief pause, Genevieve shook her head with a gentle smile, "No, I just stay with him. I look after him. He has moments when... he gets ill. I care for him then." She took a breath, and then lay her head down next to the other dog's in a comforting gesture. She lowered her voice instinctively, "Look, I'm sorry about what he did to you. He shouldn't have done that, so I'll apologise on his behalf as well. But, you see, he doesn't mean it. He can't help himself. He has moments when he does things, things he would usually regret."
They stared at each other for a long moment, and then Prida nodded. "I think I understand. But that doesn't mean I'll forgive him. I'll never forgive him. He hurt my mama. He hurt me."

After that the questions came thick and fast, so fast that Genevieve barely had time to answer them all.
