This is the reference sheet for my Whales of the Pod calf, Sonata.
Name: Sonata
adult or calf?: Calf
Gender: Female
age: About two; just stopped weaning
Personality: Well, I'm not sure how she'll be when she grows up, but for now:
Sonata is a very curious; naive and innocent calf. She's eager to learn new things, and can sometimes be a bit...how should I put this...overexcited. However, for some reason, she never comes across as irritating although she is very playful and lively most of the time. There are two problems with her personality as a result: as a young calf, any disaster or horrifying image would, seeing as she's young and easily impressionable, stay with her for the rest of her life; and she can be so eager sometimes that she forgets to listen to important warnings. So far, though, she's been lucky. Oh, that reminds me. She's very happy-go-lucky and doesn't tend to dwell much on the past at all. Her cheerful and bubbly personality seems to make everyone around her cheerful, and Sonata's very social. However, she still looks for the comfort of her mother at times, because there's nothing like the caring love of a mother, is there?
Sonata also loves going in the shallower water, close to land. Why not, while she can before she gets to big to go there anymore? Although a bit cautious of the tribe that inhabits the land near them, she is social with them and sometimes joins in their songs. And, the natives think it's an accident, probably, but she loves to splash the children and make them shriek with laughter. One more thing; she's quite fast for her age (probably goes with her active personality) but isn't very...how should I say this..um, well, she can be sort of clumsy. Since she's always, "Go go go", Sonata tends to not look where she's going and crash into all sorts of rocks and what have you. More than once she's toppled a canoe because of her clumsiness, but it was always near shallow water and the people were able to get out without any injuries. Another thing is that her training armor is a bit...well, large, and it tends to obstruct her vision sometimes. She hopes her adult armor will be more of a tighter fit.
Strengths:Cheering others up, speed, socializing
Weaknesses: Doesn't always follow directions, is sometimes clumsy...perhaps, a bit, over-social at times?
Likes:Playing, having fun, seeing how fast she can swim, racing with other calves, socializing with humans and other whales
Dislikes:Being bored, having to repeat things more than twice, having to follow lots of rules and directions
Armour type (look on the WoP page for more details): Turquoise metal
Art (optional): Here it be, I hope I got the training armor right:

Story: "Oh, look at the baby!" chirped one of the whales as the newborn calf was pushed gently by its mother to the surface, so it could take its first breath. The little calf inhaled and exhaled slowly for a bit.
And then there was a massive rush of bubbles as it suddenly took off into the darkness, having been born at midnight. Anxiously the pod members chased after the calf, but no matter what, they couldn't find it.
Suddenly, one of the pod members gave a loud "oof!" as it was struck by a speedy black-and-white blur. The tiny calf chittered with laughter as the pod member chuckled. The bump hadn't hurt at all, but they could all already see the future personality of this calf as they smiled toothy grins at each other under the dim light of the waxing crescent moon. It would be best, they discussed over the next few months and progressively larger bruises from the calf's growing weight, if they began to train her as a warrior to harness her seemingly boundless energy and put it to good use. If she continued to be like this until she grew up, her rambunctious energy could prove dangerous, and she needed some discipline to keep it under control.
