[Equid Phantasm]

The symbol on Turk's (Name subject to change)hip shoulder means water or drop of water in ancient Aztec languages and others across the world. There is some assumption that 13 dots has a calendar meaning, I wasn't sure of what that was or is. [strike]I just added the 3 drops on the shoulder for matching symbolism. I can easily remove they bigger symbol, it is on it's own layer and since I'm not sure what "not too obnoxious" could be, if you want to remove the Aztec symbol or change it to just another bigger water drop, I can do that as well. Work in progress, do you like the knot or would you like something else? I thought just the center maybe with some swirls off it would look better, this one is too large I think. Upon request, changed as stated:

Edit: Completely revamped with a flame and Celtic flame knot theme with paw prints.

Turk has mysterious bicolor eyes and loves to visit the beach's tide pools and his cohort/sidekick Brightie the Red Octopus when the tide is low. I'm guessing he has a lot more side kicks at the beach such as the little starfishes and maybe even seagulls. I can add a seagull if you'd like, I live about 8 miles from the beach and see them daily.

The lines are still there, hiding under colors... ie if the dog was black, the line is black. If brown, the line is brown, etc. I did some minor line art adjustments as needed for my portrayal, including but not limited to the hair.

I removed the hair. The top lines don't match the original exactly because i erased some to get the smoothie hair to fit in, but they are pretty close... I kind of followed the shading that was there and then made my own shading.

Major marking revamp.

Added flames to the markings and paws to the eye area. Removed Celtic knot symbolism from the dog and moved it to the rock formation, and replaced with Celtic flame symbol. Moved Aztec marking to shoulder. Reworked a little on the white part of the markings and added white and brown to the left rear leg as well.

Liking it more and more, lol... but hey, that always happens to me, I haven't done a work yet that I didn't like , or I would delete it.
