Announcement

I regret to inform everyone that the Valentines' Day celebration is probably going to be postponed for a bit. I've come down with a rather nasty flu and have had a constant, throbbing headache for the past four or five days. So until I'm feeling better, I'll only be on CS to check on my pets and sort them as they grow. I'm really sorry, but seeing as I can hardly type this message I highly doubt I could do a celebration right now. I'll post another announcement when I'm feeling better.

Artists, you can send me your Valentines' Litters as soon as you've finished them. I will look at the PMs but probably won't respond. Sorry.

What do you think...?

I have some crazy ideas running around in my head again. I've been looking at the front page of the thread and thinking that it just looks so...boring. A number of things need to be updated, such as parts of the FAQ and Payment sections. The coding is all very straight forward. The red banners have no life to them at all. The shop index is just a block of blue text. I mean, I KNOW I can do better! I just need to get off my lazy butt and put some effort into making the place look decent.

But a total upgrade of the front of the shop isn't all that I'm thinking about. I haven't really put any emphasis towards the Kreature Komfort Homes. I mean, how many of you know that you can purchase a castle to put your kreatures in? Probably not many. Are my customers just coming here to collect as many kreatures as they can get their hands on? If that's the case, should I just get rid of all the accessories and houses available? Is it a waste of my time to make holiday items like I have been since people purchase them and then never use them? Is it a waste of my time to provide homes and accessories that just sit there because nobody seems to want them?

I want The Whole Kit & Kaboodle to be MORE than just a place where people come to collect cute pixels. I want K&Ks to be fun and exciting! I was thinking of making K&Ks its own little map, a little world where all the Kits, Kaboodles, Kydeer, Kedgets, Kaninchen, and Kanidae can roam around and play. The map would be featured on the front page of the shop. And the neatest part of this idea of mine is that people could "explore" the map and have a chance of getting themselves some things. Would you like to "explore" a map on K&Ks and find yourself going away with a brand new kreature in your hands or a handful of KK Points or Kash? It could be similar to something like Neopets. The map would open and close just like other parts of the shop so that I don't get swamped with explore requests, though.
