Oscurus

The yawning mouth of the cavern greets you as you pull yourself over the last hill, its size immense. Standing at the mouth of the cavern is a strange creature you've never seen before. It stands as tall as a draft horse, and has an equine face, but that is where the similarity ends. It stares at you as you stand there, stunned. After a few moments, it opens it mouth and speaks. "Welcome to Oscurus, land of the Tali. I don't know how or why you are here, but it is obvious you are no threat. Step inside the cavern to see more of my kind. Perhaps you will be able to convince one of us to leave with you." Without waiting for a response, the large horse-thing turns and disappears into the darkness of the cavern.

Rules and Regulations:

1. No stealing anything relating to the Tali.
2. These are free, do not try to bribe me in order to win, all bribes will be ignored.
3. Proper spelling and grammar is required in all forms. If I can't read/comprehend it, it will not be judged.
4. No complaining if you do not win. I rather dislike crybabies.
5. Art theft of any kind is prohibited. If I catch you stealing the Tali or their concept(or any writing), I will not hesitate to report and blacklist you.
6. I will allow no more than 4 Tali per person. (Not counting the one custom allowed to each person)
7. Be respectful to everyone.
8. Please remember that I have a life and I can't spend all of my time making new designs.
9. No begging or anything related to begging.
10. Do not ask to be an artist, I will open applications only if/when I see the need.
11. Please, no spam. Questions are fine, but random off-topic chat is not.
12. You may only apply for one Tali per group.
13. In the event that you no longer want your Tali, you MUST return him/her here
14. They may not be your fursona or related to your fursona in any way.
15. Don't SPAM. Anything not related to this thread or the Tali is considered spam. Too much spam and the thread will be locked.

General Information:

-Tali are the size of horses. Meaning, they're big and could easily bite your face off. Raxi is even bigger then that.
-There is a 4 Tali adoption limit.
-Tali are omniverous. Meaning they'll eat pretty much anything edible.
-Tali are born with a name already. Only 'customs' can have their name picked.
-Tali is pronounced: "Tall-ee".
-Tali do not wear accessories, so no clothes, armor, piercings, etc. Only rare special occasions do they wear anything.
-Fights do happen among the Tali, so scars are possible.
-A Tali emerges fully grown from the cavern.
-They do not and cannot breed. As in they can't produce offspring.
-Tali are sexless. There are no males or females.
-Archives.

How?
I will be using a combination of a few adoption threads I've found here. Some Tali will be first come, first served. Some will be won by the best form. Others will be released with an introduction. The rules for each style differ slightly.
First come first served: The first person to post a correct form will win that Tali.
Best form: The person with the best story or poem and personality will win that Tali.
Introduction: The introduction will give a basic idea of the Tali's personality. You must build on that personality. However, you man not make the Tali speak or do anything it is not already doing in the introduction.

Contest!!!!

This will be another art contest, however the rules are a little different this time. I want to see how this guy would react to seeing the animal that his markings come from, the Golden Pheasant. The art may be drawn by you, or ordered, just make sure you give credit where it is due!
The winner will obviously receive this Tali, as well as a MLC.

The second contest is a little different. I'd like you to draw your dream Tali! It's as simple as that. Each artist that wants to participate will chose their favorite design and make it into a custom. You do not need a MLC to enter, or to win this contest!

Customs are ran a little differently here then the normal 'adoption' shop. Basically you purchase the MY LITTLE CAVERN (MLC) custom creation item from the shop and its added to your 'inventory' which can be found through the link at the top of the shop post. Then when Bear opens customs only those with that item can order. Think of it like you're reserving your right to order a custom. This also keeps those who haven't really read the rules from ordering or those who haven't bought the MLC from ordering a custom. Questions? Ask me.

Why?: Looking at the Tali I found that I loved them and I am particular about how I want my creatures to look, Dark or lonesome follow Ally, Hyper shy and crafty go with Sammy, Undecided follow Annabeth untill she knows who the creature belongs with. but I think Annabeth needs a companion. so I found a nice one and this is Anolon
What will you do with it?: Keep him/her in stories with Sammy, Ally, Annabeth, Kitty, Fawn and other adoptables. Drawings and as a image beside me at school with all of my adoptables.

Story/Poem:

The shadow moved through the ally in the night, a whisk of its deep brown tail the plume or yellow glinting slightly in the moonlight. His red ear flicked and he moved forward a few paces. A young human child ran past him not noticing him. The dark figure was used to it by now and let the humans go about their buisness and left only at night to keep on the low. "Anolon should you not be out of this human city?" came a voice from behind him. "Tali you must move away from here" the voice added. "I will leave when I find I want to Faerie" the Tali, Anolon said with a hard edge to his voice. After a while the Talis still had not warmed to his companion choosing to be the leader of them even though the Faerie was the actual leader and just wanted the Talis to get used to her. Annabeth, the Faerie smiled and nodded. "If you say so Anolon" she replied. turning Annabeth flew out and landed on a roof to bath in the moonlight. She snapped her head up when an earsplitting screach sang in the air followed by a bloodcurdling scream that was cut off midway...

Why?:
He's plain awesome, and I'm currently interested in ice-colored, sky blue colored virtual pets with a winterish theme o3o. And his linearts are great, and it really impressed me.
What will you do with it?:
He'll get a respectable spot in my character page, and if there's a roleplay, he'll get to join with an important spot!

Tali Personality:

Frosty, cold, and distant, this tali does not have many friends. Many think of him as a mysteriuos outsider, but in truth he has a gentle heart. He is awkward among other tali, and that's the only reason he doesn't like talking and laughing too much. Once you get to know him and touch his heart, though, you'll receive everlasting friendship.
Story/Poem:

Zenal stood at the top of the high cliff, looking down upon the little group of young tali playing and scuffling around at the bottom. Soon they were led away by their parents.
Ignoring the icy winds, Zenal sighed, feeling an everlasting bit of emptiness. He didn't understand it; he had lived this way for as long as he could remember, being a mysterious, curious figure to the normal, talkative tali. He enjoyed life this way; he felt odd when he was around little talis and parents, and he never seemed to be able to make good enough jokes or talk really fluently. But now, he felt an odd feeling of remorse, as if he needed a real, good friend. . .

Well you see The first time i saw your species It was through your request to affiliate with Onyxwings Ahzenai, At first i passed over the link, I was on my phone you see, and switching between the threads is more of a hassle than I'd like it to be. So after seeing what was up on er thread, i leisurely came back to Oscurus, and after reading the intro and rules, I found myself scrolling through the four who were ready for adoption, The first was a beauty, her light blues were well accented for the snow, and harsh wintery climates, the second gave off an earthy grand canyon gorge kind of vibe, the third did not fully lode for me on my phone but now i can see him deep greens and browns also give of an earthy vibe, but it was the fourth, the only one i really paid attention to, unlike his litter mates he had no set markings, just a beautiful gradient, that caught my eye. Oh how i prayed that night that you would not chose before i had a chance to offer, oh how i pleaded, and much to my liking, i came home today to find him still available, and i will try my darnedest to make this stunning guy my own.
What will you do with it?:
I will most likely add a new special place into my Character thread for him and his kind, I will most likely use him in woos/ forms for other Adoptable Characters, I will develop and use him, and hopefully make him his own little "pride" or "clan" or "pack" or "motley group of oddities"
