I don't mind keeping my own archive, keeps me organized.

Perhaps a new archive thread where each artist has one post for their archive (and they archive their guest artists litters)? Or for those who don't want to keep their own archive, someone active can do it for them?

That could work too, and thats how the archives were supposed to be... But my problem was I basically ended up with to many links and stuff on my post and couldnt post anymore, and its a pain when people are looking for their cats and dont know where they are located... However I am with you on the fact that it keeps me organized as well. (Slightly)

I've seen some archives done by user. Like this for example. But that would have to be done by one person. But it makes it easier for a user to see all their adopts.

Yea Sote always has good archives, and Night's doing hers the same way now, but she had a website before which was nice too...
I thought about doing that but then you run into the problem of does the archiver PM the artist when they have their cats archived for them, do they wait till the codes are dropped?

The website was very bothersome to update though. And I had to ask Soteria to use similar coding/set up for my new archive.

Its a nice way to set the archives up though in my opinion. I'm just not sure what to do at this point :/

Well, the biggest problem I think is the archivist moving on and no longer doing it. Which is always a big possibility.

You could possibly have an archive (with each artist keeping an archive post). And if they can't add more to their post, they can add another post to the archive (but only once their previous post is full). The first post can be used for linking to each artists archive post or posts.

I'm not sure if it's okay to have yet another thread, but if it is, that one could be used by users to keep track of all of their adopts. Each person could have ONLY ONE post on the thread. And once again, the first post can be used for linking to each users own miniature archive.
