Parsley backed away. "Stop it! Come graze, but you must not tell the others. They may not accept you. It is a sad thing." Parsley approached chase and gave him a curious sniff. "Where are you from?" she asked, swatting a fly away from his nose with her chocolate and carmel-colored tail. She tossed her head, throwing her mocha forlock away from her unusual mossy green eyes.

"I'm from for away, actually. I traveled here. And as you may have noticed, I'm wary of new horses." Chase admitted. He felt unusually calm around Parsley. Chase then turned towards Spartain to answer his question."It's nothing."

"You smell like Spirit." Parsley commented. "Maybe that is why you reconize him. Don't tell me if you don't want to." Parsley moved her rear so she was looking over her shoulder at Chase and giving him a look only mares can give. Her chocolate-pinto body swayed as she steadied herself. Flipping her mane, Parsley bent down and nibbled the grass.

Chase sighed sadly."I would like to say, but, I'm not sure I could." He said. He then perked his ears up at looked at Spirit, who was walking towards them.

"Whose this?" Spirit asked, coming up to give Chase a curious glance. When he got a better look at Chase, his eyes widened, but then filled with curiosity again.

Parsley looked up too. "Hello, Spirit. I have heard of you but I don't think we've met before." she neighed, tucking her bdy closer around her. She had heard he was one of the stallions nearly in charge, and didn't want him to think he could take control of her or single her away from the rest of the herd to become part of a different one that he lead, like most stallions did. She wouldn't come willingly, that was for sure. Parsley pawed the dirt ((sorry, hoofed?)) and tossed her mane over her eyes. Most stallions thought her green eyes strange, not pretty, and that was why she hadn't found a heard before this where she could be part of the group of mares lead by one domonant stallion.
