To be honest, Firenze is the most handsome Goennec I have ever seen. His colors are just so soft that it melted my heart. He looks like such a sweet little guy with all those nice colors on him. Nothing flashy or showy, I love it.
Firenze's main color is a light cream, with a darker and more noticable sandy color, that goes along his back, arms, and face in little speckles. On the bottoms of his arms and by his nose dusty gray blotches are seen. Firenze has a slytherin colored nose, eyes, hooves, and horns, all which give him a nice bit of color.
Firenze has a ivory colored mane and tail, which is a bit longer and fluffier then most Goennecs. At the tip of his tail, you can easily see sandy colored markings, along with some dust colored spots. Not to mention the dusty colored 'fluff' around his hooves.

Firenze is a very kind and sweet Goennec, considering he is the Prince's son. He loves when his friends and others around him are happy, and likes to solve much problems. Firenze is one of the more smart Goennec's in the herd, and is constantly thinking of the big picture, not just one part of it. When comming up with a plan or idea, he always thinks of how it'll affect those around him.
Firenze doesn't have the biggest sense of humor, and doesn't get jokes as easily as others. He is more serious, and calm when it comes to being in a sticky situation. He isn't one to get angered easily, and isn't the type to worry and fidget over everything. Firenze is very laid back, and likes to think before he acts. This makes him a vrey valuble friend and Goennec to be around.

"Once upon a time, there was a brave and powerful Goennec. He traveled along the mountains and rivers, rescusing those in need. Fighting against the evil, and always giving food to the poor. He was amazing, strong, brave. He was everything others looked for in a Goennec. He was F-"
"Fake and stupid."
Firenze stopped, ears pricking as he turned around. Looking to see who interupted his story, slytherin green eyes landed on a pair of male kids. They laughed, the numerous chuckles rolling off their tounges. As Firenze frowned, a squeaky voice broke through the laughs. "Stop it!"
That voice wasn't hard for Firenze to figure out, since the one who owned the voice was sitting beside him. It was Poppy. Poppy was a small Goennec, a kid. But she wasn't like the others. She was more like Firenze in a way. Poppy didn't laugh or harass the other Goennecs in the Snow Point Herd, she helped them out. That's what Firenze liked about her. Plus, she always loved the stories he told her.
"Firenze's stories are not stupid. Your just jealous because you'll never be the great Goennec in this story." Poppy said, and the other two kids seemed to roll their eyes and strut off, leaving Firenze and Poppy alone.
"Thank you Poppy. But we must remember to ignore them. They aren't worth anything." He said. "Besides, soon you're going to become a soldier, then you can hang around with me more often." The words were ment to cheer his friend up, though she only grown glumly. "You know what they say, Firenze. My dad says he doesn't think I'm strong enough to become a soldier. I'm going to end up being the fluffy cupcake of the herd." She murmured. Firenze, being his sweet self, shook his head. "Not without me being the snuggly muffin of the herd." That made her laugh, and Firenze was glad for that.

It was now the afternoon, and it was as boring and dry as ever. The cold season had passed, all snow had melted. It was still breezy and chilly on some days, but yet, no snow. This was a deep problem because the river had run dry.
Firenze was the member of the Snow Point Herd, a small herd that lives up in the mountains. Firenze was a Soldier, and the son of a desceased Prince. His mother was also a Soldier. When Firenze was born, his father had died from a sickness. The Prim of the herd was a strong male named Gord, who had taken over and acted very much like a father to Firenze. They had a wonderful bond, and Firenze was always a first to know about problems that had risen.
"Firenze, as you know, the river has run dry. I do not wish to say this in front of the others just yet, but I doubt it has dried naturally." Gord started as he sat down beside Firenze. "I think something, or someone, is blocking it, I bet someone has built something inside of it, so no water reaches us. Now, I doubt they know we're up here, but I bet they aren't willing to give the water up." He said, and Firenze frowned.
"But, Gord. Who else could be around? I know that at the bottom of the mountains, and at the start of the river, there is a valley. Do other Goennecs live there?" He questioned, and the old leader nodded. "There are stories that tell of a herd that lives down there, and I bet they have stopped the river from flowing. But alas, I cannot go travel there. I would, but as you know, I'm growing to be quite sick these past days. I've already told Thresh that you are to become the Prince when I pass." He said, and Firenze's frown grew bigger.
"Do not talk like that Gord. You will not be dying anytime soon. I know your older, and sick. But you will not pass away, not yet. Now, I'll take you up on your ivisable offer, since I know you want me to make that trip. I will think about it, and tonight I will discuss my thoughts with you." Firenze said.
~
Firenze slowly exited the cave in which the Soldiers slept, light green eyes spotting the form of Gord. Sitting beside the Prim, he looked up at the stars. "I have thought about your many words, Gord. I will do and find what is blocking the river. I will discuss things with the legendary herd. It'll give me an interesting thing to do in life, and give me something to be proud of. Something I've done." He said, and Gord looked over at him.
"Firenze, you hve much to be proud of. I asked you to go on this journey, not for you to be proud of yourself. You take too much for granted. And that is why you will not be going on this trip alone. Take Poppy with you. And dont try and convice me otherwise. Now goodnight." He said, leaving Firenze in silent shock.
~
The morning had come, and Firenze was still frustraited from his conversation last night. There was no way he could take Poppy with him, it was too dangerous. Sure, he knew Poppy would be sad without him, but that didn't mean she could tag along on his trip. What was Gord thinking?
"Hia Firenze! How are you?"
The sudden noise made Firenze jump, and his thoughts quickly vanished from his mind as he stared down at the small form of Poppy. "Hello, Poppy. I am doing good. And I have something to tell you." He said softly, and she sat down. "Listen, you know about the dry water, yes? Well, Gord wants me to go on a trip to find the thing that is blocking the water, and break it. But the thing is, he wants me to take you."
Firenze watched as Poppy gasped, for she seemed to be surprised by his words. "Are you serious, Firenze? We get to go on a trip together? Oh, this is wonderful! When are we leaving? Where are we going? This'll be amazing." She said, giving a little jump of joy. A smile flickered on Firenze's face, but only for a moment. Then it left.
"Poppy, you know this trip will be dangerous and hard. Do not get completely excited. We need to be calm, and plan things out. We are leaving tomarrow morning. Early in the morning. Tonight I have to talk with Gord some more, and discuss things with him. Do not tell anyone else of this, understood?"
Poppy nodded, and then scampered off, leaving Firenze lost in his thoughts. He wondered how this journey would carry out, and what would happen along the way. But one thing Firenze was sure of, he would have to protect Poppy. If anything happened to her, he'd never forgive himself.
~
The day was pulled away from Firenze quickly, and soon, the moon was high. It glowed an ivory color, and the stars twinkled in delight. Firenze though, did not feel delight. He was excited to go on the trip, but yet, he didn't know how safe it would be. Ears pricked, Firenze heard someone nearby. Turning around, he smiled at the sight of Gord, who was slowly approching the Soldier.
"I know you are a bit upset, and shocked. But trust me, this was meant to happen. I have made my way down the river before, and there are some dens you will find along the way. If you make good progress, you will reach the dens by sunset. Then you can wake up in the morning and travel on. If you are fast, it'll only be two days. If not, it'll be about three." Gord said, and Firenze nodded.
Firenze though of all the things Gord said, picturing the dens and traveling along the river. He wondered how fast Poppy could move, and if she'd dilly dally all day. Though soon his thoughts were broken as Gord let out a ragged and dry cough, leaving Firenze curious. "Gord, are you sick?" He questioned, and the Prim nodded. "Yes, but it is nothing to worry for. I will be healthy in time. Now, go to bed, tomarrow you must wake up bright and early."
Firenze nodded, standing up. "Alright. Thank you for you time and wise words, Gord. Have Plume awake me in morning." Firenze said softly, going into the Solider's cave for the night.
~
"Achoo!"
Soft green eyes opened, nose crinkling after the sneeze. Raising his head, Firenze looked down at the thing that had tickled his nose. It was Plume. Plume was a beautiful blue bird that lived among the Snow Point Herd. She served as a scout, a helpful animal to have around.
"It is time for you to go on your trip." Plume said fluttering around, and then landing on Firenze's shoulder as he left the cave. Looking up at the sky, his eyes grew wide in awe. The sky was such a beautiful color, a lavender purple, mixed with a salmon pink. Only a few stars twinkled along the colors, yet they twinkled brighter then any star Firenze had ever seen. "My oh my, the sky is beautiful. Perfect for a trip." Firenze said softly, then stopped. "Plume, do you think Gord would mind if you traveled with us? Your skills are amazing, and it'd be nice to have another helper." He said, and Plume made a "Hmmm..." sound.
"Gord said you might ask this, and said it was up to me. I'd be happy to accept your offer, Firenze. Eat some grass for a moment, and I'll wake up Poppy. Gord is sick, sadly, and needs his rest. You've heard him, yes? Well, he can't awaken and say good bye right now. And no worries. He's already spoken with your mom, and Poppy's parents." She said, fluttering off. Bending down, Firenze started to eat.
"Hi Firenze? I can't eat, I'm too excited to eat. Plume said she's joining us. Isn't that great? I can't wait!" Firenze pricked his ears and raised his head, looking down to see Poppy. "Yes, I am excited. Now quiet down, we mustn't wake the others. They will not like that." Firenze said calmly, and Poppy nodded, face flushing with embaressment. "Yes, sorry Firenze."
~
Once they had finished up eaten and snacking, they were ready to go. Firenze looked back at the camp of the herd, dipping his head as if saying good bye. Eyes went to Poppy, and Plume, and then the sky. "Wish us luck, guardians of the sky." He murmured, heading into the forest. "We are ready to save the herd."

This, I believe, is my seventh time trying for a Goennec. A lot of times, right? Well, a lot of those times were when I was new, and had little to know skill at all. The last two rounds I tried hard, so I'm going to try even harder this round, because Firenze is extremely handsome. I love how soft and light his colors are, and how natural he his. I'm in awe with his long tail and fluffy main, and how nicely everything fits.
If I get Firenze, I promise that I'll shower him in love and art. He will get his own character thread, since I will be making one for all the Goennecs I get. There will never be a moment where the thought of bringing him back crosses my mind, because I will always adore him. Also, I'll be holding an art competition soon, so I know he'll get bunches of art there. c:
