-Love the book idea! I agree with Imagine, sounds like something John Green would write...though I expect you will execute the story a bit better than he does. No offense to John Green, his ideas are amazing along with his vlogs, but I don't always care for his writing style. If you every need help editing that piece, send it my way! I need to get back into editing mode *looks at 90 page manuscript*.
Imagine
-I like this answer much better! Still sounds great and flows wonderfully, but I think you answered the question more fully now.
And whoa...everyone has a Figment but no one told me?

What will we call you:
Moonheart, Moon, Moony, Warrior, anything like that :33
What are your goals as an author?
1. I want to write a book series, with at least 5 books, and post them on CS, and (this is part of this goal, not a seperate one) I have a goal of having at least 2 people read it. But I'd be lucky to get one person to read it...
2. also want to write a book that isn't written in first person. I tend to write in first person and first person annoys me a bit... :/
4. I want to get at least one of my books published.
5. I want to write a book that has a fairly original plot.
6. (new one/not in previous form :33) Feel a bit better about showing people my work (including stories and poems, but also my drawings (but this isn't about drawings, but still)) and not immediately be all like "Oh no! This fails and has horrible plot ideas! And the characters have idiotic names! And this genre has been done over and over (on CS at least)! No one will like this! D:"
7. (also a new one x3) Write a story where the main character is mute and try to make my stories have less talking, since it seems like at least half of my stories are that long because there's a lot of talking.
Can you give us a sample of your writing?
"Come on!" I say to the distance. I turn around to make sure Lexy and Adam are still in my sight. I remember when that old, flat shark who was hiding near us when we hatched, and he told us to stick together. In fact, I'm pretty sure his dying words, for he died shortly afterwards, where "Sticking together like your prey helps you survive, despite you may get killed. It's safer than traveling these dangerous waters alone. You don't know what will happen if anyone goes astray, but you can be sure they probably get killed by those tall things who often come around and take our prey and sometimes us, too".
Looking back at it, I guess it was probably a bit long for his dying words, seeing some of the things our prey have said, but we still do our best to do what he said. Even though he died 7 and a half years ago...
"Look out!" I hear, and snap back to reality. I turn around, again, and realize I almost ran into a couple of saw-fish. What strange names they have, seeing as it looks like it's a bit hard for them to see...
I stop swimming, which is a bit hard knowing how fast I swim, and wait up. It takes them a few seconds, but I get bored and start swimming in circles and chasing my tail
"What're you doing?" My sister, Lexy, asks.
"Chasing my tail. You two know how easily I get bored" I say, rolling my eyes.
"But you day dream so much... How can you get bored when you keep day-dreaming?" Adam asks.
"Will you three keep it down!" One of the saw fish yells at us. We turn around to see the older-looking, and also, apprently, less patient of the two, looking as if it's trying to glare at us.
"Sorry..." we mutter, and swim away towards the area we call home.
When we reach there, we see a giant, spotted thing blocking the way we usually take, and Lexy looks scared the giant spotted thing will kill her or something.
"W-what is that thing?" she stutters with a scared tone to her voice.
I stare at her. What're you so worried about? Surely Makos, like us, the fastest shark species that I know of, can outswim that thing? If it's so huge, it's probably very heavy, and also a slow swimmer...
After a few minutes that seem to feel like hours, the giant thing finally moves, and we notice it looks a bit less... Green? It looks a bit less green than it did when we left it earlier today...
(BTW, the giant spotted thing is a whale shark and the flat shark in the beginning is an angel shark. They're sharks, so they don't know what the other sharks are actually called. And they don't know what saws are, so the main character is confused on why they're called saw-fish. Also, they don't know what humans are called. And they can understand other sharks (obviously), rays, skates, other fish, jelly fish and any other creature you might find underwater that "breathes" :3)
Are you currently working on any books?
Not really, but I am developing a plot for a story about a young shark of a species that I haven't decided of yet and she and her brother (who where born/hatched from Mermaid's Pouch(es/s (not quite sure)), not born as live pups) had another sibling and they did everything. When they where 8 years old (2 years before maturity (yes, 10 years is a mature age for sharks. Not 1+ year(s)), their sibling went missing, and they later found a body of a shark of the same species as them, and the body looked a lot like their sister, but they noticed something was wrong. Her fins where missing.
I'm probably not going to write this story, but it's a plot idea I'm getting because I'm writing a speech about sharks and shark finning, so, of course, I want to write a story about them. I think the story will be about Mako sharks. The paragraph I wrote above might go into my story :33
Why do you want to join?
From Previous Thread :33 wrote:Well, this looks very interesting. I'm not quite sure what you do here, but I'm guessing we can just chat with other authors, give each other ideas if someone has no idea for a plot/character/setting/etc. or maybe just have fun when we have writers block. But I'm not quite sure what we do here yet, I just found this thread about 6/7 minutes ago...
Do you have published books yet?
No.
Do you wish to find a "writing partner"?
Still not 100% sure what this is.
Is it, like, having someone look at your story and tell you some confusing parts in it and be a kind of editor while you write a story?
Or is it collaborating on a story with another person?
What's your favorite genre to read? Write?
Animal fiction, drama, mystery and books with magic in them :33
Were you a member of the old thread?
Yes :33

Execute book B-B-BETTER than John Green?!? Don't care for his writing style?! =_= I love you MBR, I really do.... but oh how the youth of this world worries me.....
Kitty- Ooh! Whats your figment username/story name? Me and my sister just share a Figment, since my mom was hesitant about letting us use it at first, so she made us combine ours into one. -_-"
And yeppers! I have a figment! Along with my sister! Shall we exchange usernames? I really haven't written much that I have actually deemed good enough to publish (Minus a poem or short story I think) and therefore allow others to read.... but maybe someday....
Welcome new member! ^.^ We are happy to have you!

-Yes, but if you are an old member, you don't have to wait to be accepted. I just need the new form for organizational purposes.
And my Figment username is Drucilla A. Summers, if anyone is interested. I only have a short story up, currently. Might add more later. I was usually more of an Inkpop person, but now I don't have a lot of time for writing sites anymore. It takes a lot of work to get people to read your stories. I have school, so I'm busy.
And when it comes to John Green, Looking for Alaska wasn't too bad, but Paper Towns...ugh. Still respect him as a writer, though, so that is all that matters.
