"Thanks" Li said, looking at Tayla. She seemed to be very nice, it was a pleasure having her company. This forest would probably seem a lot spookier and creepier without someone, for the both of them, to talk to. Li hoped they could hang out after she got back to her mother. "Do you think, if you can go on one, you'll go on a Pokemon journey?" Li asked, hoping they could travel together.

As Shasara sounded, the parents turned to look at the little bird in your arms. Windy still worked away at the Herecross, and was healing it as her father spoke. "And who are you and this little fella?" He ask, slowly holding his and out to the Pipplup. His hands were coarse and worked. "She looks like a trainer," her mother put in. "Thats Jay. Shes a trainer." Windy said absently, helping Herecross to sit up

Honey
The small pokemon looked up to you hesitently. It was obvious that it wasnt quite sure of you yet, but it did enjoy the berries. It smiled after a time, and nodded. It was a male, level 4 Burmy. It swished its leaves in responce to a joyful chatter from the Rattata

Tayla shrugged, "Im not sure, really." She ran her hand down Megawatt's spiky coat. "It seems like it would be really fun. But what if im not cut out for a journey? Im only eight, and ive already gotten myself lost out of my mind." He smiled a cracked smile at Li, and sighed as her incompatance.

"What do you mean? Everyone's cut out for a journey, and everyone gets lost sometimes. Heck, if you weren't here, I probably would be lost." Said Li, smiling and nearly laughing. "Well, you can only get better if you practice, but if you don't want to go, it's fine." Li grinned and said "I understand why you don't want to though, I mean, we'd have to battle each other often, and no one wants to lose over and over, I would feel bad if I kept beating you." Li began laughing, then continued. "Just kidding, anyway, we'd have to ask any way, even if you did want to, we would need permission."

I licked my lips and said "Yeah, I'm a Pokemon Trainer." I bit my lip and said nevously "And your daughter would make a good trainer too." I waited for them to say something.

Her father corked an eyebrow, and sighed. "Shes never had a first battle. Shes never never experienced how it felt for defeat. She doesnt understand the hardships of going on a journey." Windy, who had poked her head out from behind the heracross, bit her lip nervously, and anxiously watched.

Simon let out an enjoyable little "Bur!" and jumped down from your hand. In the back of your mind, you remember the words 'most bug pokemon usually learn Protect'

"Yeah, well she beat me, and no one has beaten me before!" I didn't mention that I had only had 2 or 3 battles before, but that want the point. "She's really good with her Pokemon, and you should be proud of her!" Shasara bounced in my arms to help make my point clear.
