This is my entry for Painted Fangz's character contest. My character has a Blue Merle base coat and an extra fluffy tail. His/her eyes are a very pale blue. They have a blue bandanna, dog tags around their neck and tail, 5 assorted glow bracelets on their front paws, aviator goggles, and a flame-pattern tattoo. Their animal companion is a long-tailed lynx. He/she has light green tribal markings over a natural-color base coat, a tooth necklace, and flames on his/her eartips and tail. I hope my design is satisfactory. C: Comments and positive critique are welcome.

While I was drawing these two, a pair of names popped into my head randomly. You are welcome to use them if you'd like. 'Ash' for the dog, and 'Lantern' for the cat.

I'm glad you like it and I appreciate the suggestions. How did you feel about the rubber chicken idea? Or was that too weird for you?

Alrighty. I went ahead and finished up my design. C: I added some dog tags around his/her tail to balance out the weight of the accessories a little bit and I drew in an animal companion. Yeah, I know, its ugly. XD I did the best I could; cats are hard to draw. Anyways, since you mentioned that you liked long-tailed lynxes, I chose that as the animal I was going to draw. Its got light green tribal markings, a tooth necklace, and its ears and tail are on fire. You can decide if you want it to be a plushie or a real animal, or if you want it bigger. I just drew what fit on the page. Hope you like it! As always, comments are appreciated.
