This was really tough to judge. There were so many awesome entries, but I had to choose. I won't do ties either, because I have to give out the promised set of prizes to the winning individuals, and I have no duplicates to split amongst them. Anyway, without further ado, here are the winners. n_n


First Place:
celestialheaven: I found myself really impressed by this design. I absolutely love the way you carried out the actual element and its disaster- you can clearly tell what the Salemandre represents, even if you didn't know that it was connected to a disaster. I love the details as well. The brush strokes are controlled and the fading of one color in to the other is also well done. The horns are also lovely, and the color transition on them is well thought out as well. ^^ I also like how you left the fur when you changed the front limbs to lizard's feet, and the open mouth edit is well done as well.

Second Place:
TigressJaguiar: Really, really love the markings. Though Darkness Salemandres are becoming more common than others, this one fits right in. Like Celestial, you showed excellent attention to detail. Thoguh there weren't any line changes, your art itself and design, stood for itself.

katimers: I just love the eyes, horns, and tail markings. <3 I like how you put actual time in to the design, and didn't forget details. It really is cool, even your use of gradient on his back.
99winnie: Very cool. I like it. XD Mostly because I can never do a simple design that looks so awesome. <3 Also, the tail and horn are perfect for him. <3
The backwards book: An eye-cathing design with an awesome, breed-true story, I love the one you created as well. The design doesn't have any true edits aside from the ear and reversing the arm spines, but it is still beautiful nonetheless. <3
-Alona- Nice design and color choices. I really, really love the tail. I think that was my selling point. (Well, that and your use of blue and orange, a famous complimentary color pair. ) I didn't like the line color changes on the toxic one, but the design itself was pretty cool once I looked past that.
