Suspicion is something to talk about.
The thing is, I do study, but in their heads, if you studied and came into class on time every day like I do, you should be getting an A+ in everything, and that every subject requires two hours of work each. They don't, college isn't identical to the way it was 20 or 30 years ago when they first started, some classes don't even use the required textbook anymore (the teacher just hates the way it's written, thinks there's too much unneccessary info in it, it's too outdated, etc.) It seems like every time I finally get them to back off, they get riled up again. Maybe I need to just put a little more effort into it.
The funny thing is, they're quick to get iPods and smart phones and other modern technology, but they walk around acting like nothing else has changed since they were kids.
