Who would want to fight against pie? We want it on our team.

I like #3. Hey is this place still open for free hugs? If so, I could use one right now :( My boyfriend said he would come over tonight and I was soooo excited. I haven't gotten to see him much because of college and I was looking forward to it soooooooooooo much. I'm deeply in love with him and it's incredibly hard to be without him all the time. Anyways, he came over and we picked out a movie to watch together and everything, but then only an hour after he came, he suddenly left. His dad called and wanted him to clean his room tomorrow. He felt bad, but decided to leave and do it tonight. I won't get to see him for a while now. Now that I'm finally done crying, I just feel depressed and, worst of all, alone.

P.S. sorry if this seems stupid and whiny, I'm just sad and lonely is all

I just need some encouragement right now...my parents all of a sudden got really suspicious of me, and there's honestly no reason for it. I'm not a troublemaker, I never have been. When I withdrew money from the bank with my checking card, they demanded to know where I got all that money (it was only $100 or so, I was going to spend most of it on groceries!), when I take a bathroom break during dinner, they demand to know if I'm bulimic (I'm not), and me complaining of stomach pains made them ask me if I was pregnant (also not true!). I'm rarely let out of the house, and my dad wants me to spend more and more time on studying each day, even if I don't need to! I never get to see my friends from high school, and I really need time with people who legitimately understand what I need and what's best for me. I'm starting to think they don't.

You should just tell them that all of there suspicious is not really necessary. Also of the things they do.Just talk to them about it and tell them that you need to socialize and talk to your friends.

Yes.
Suspicion is something to talk about.

The thing is, I do study, but in their heads, if you studied and came into class on time every day like I do, you should be getting an A+ in everything, and that every subject requires two hours of work each. They don't, college isn't identical to the way it was 20 or 30 years ago when they first started, some classes don't even use the required textbook anymore (the teacher just hates the way it's written, thinks there's too much unneccessary info in it, it's too outdated, etc.) It seems like every time I finally get them to back off, they get riled up again. Maybe I need to just put a little more effort into it.

The funny thing is, they're quick to get iPods and smart phones and other modern technology, but they walk around acting like nothing else has changed since they were kids.

Stick up to them.Tell them that you had enough about what there doing and stop thinking that way and let you get to see your friends instead of getting locked up.

*hugs* I'd be so miserable if my parents were that suspicious of me... all I can say is what other people have said. There's no reason for them to be suspicious of you. Talk to them about it.
I should be doing my homework now :PP
