As I walk down the icy grass, blanketed by frost, I look up, some of my hair falling in front of my hazel eye. I hear a snort, and I look around, confused. It was repeated, louder, and this time I jumped, whinning back, Hello? Whos there? Then, I see a Paint stallion come out of the mist of the shadows. His brown eyes glitter, of warmness, though I can also see some bravery, and courage. Who are you? He replies, walking around me. I try to get angry, but my heart wasn't set to it as I replied. A mare, Melody to be specific. He nodded, his black mane waving in the faint wind. Luke. What a nice name, for a nice stallion. He was wonderfully structured, strong legs with socks that went up to his knees. He was a black stallion, with a long, wavy mane. Absolutely beautiful. Can I just say you are beautiful? He says to me, and my ears go warm, and a shiver ran down my back as I flicked my tail, putting my head lower. And I knew I had loved him. Absolutely loved him.

Do you have any idea when customs will reopen? I still have the payment that I saved when I tried to place an order sometime ago, and was wondering how long it would be so that I spend it here. c: No rush, or anything, though. That wasn't the intention of this post!

I pawed at the ground, excited and nervous. Around me, people and horses were watching, waiting for there turn. I could feel the excitement pouring off my rider as we waited for the signal. The three white barrels glinted in the sun ahead, arranged in a clover pattern like they always were. Somebody said "ready off to the side, and i felt my rider ask me to go. I tried to hold myself steady as we circled, gaining speed for the event. Then, with a kick from my rider, we were off. The dust flew up around my feet, spraying my stomach and legs. We were at the first barrel. I sunk my feet in and leaned, enough to spin tightly around the barrel, but not so much that i would fall. My rider leaned with me, and soon we were streaming towards the next barrel. I leaned tighter this time, and my rider's leg brushed the barrel. It teetered, but remained standing. I throttled towards the last barrel, preparing for the turn. I stuck the turn the best i could, sliding a bit off course. I pushed with all my might as i raced for the line that the time would stop. As i got to the end of the arena, i turned in a circle to avoid hitting the fence. As i slowed down, the rush of wind was replaced by cheering. My rider patted my neck and praised me as we left the ring to prepare for the next event.

Her favourite thing to do is western speed events. They are one of mine too <3
