Neppy's personality changes with his mood, and corresponds with water. On some days he may be calm and forgiving, but on other days he may be angry and unforgiving. It all depends on how his day started. Overall, though, he is kind and helpful, always willing to lend a paw to those in need. He spends as much time as he can with those he loves, which can be hard since he has many friends.

Born beside the ocean, raised to to sound of the waters breeze, I rose above all and took the racing waters as my home, and its inhabitants as my children -Neptune..Ruler of the Seas

"Neptune darling, thou shall not join his friends should he not come eat!" mother calls, beckoning you forth into your lair in the seaside hills. You grumble, trotting forward and calling farewell to your friends. Once inside, you slump forward and dig your snout into a hunk of walrus stomach. After finishing it, you begin to leave, hoping maybe you can catch your friends before they're gone; but mother calls you back, "Neptune, thou must at least lick your chops! 'Tis rude to just leave them in such a disgusting manner!" You are growing even more frustrated by the minute. Licking your chops, you turn to leave once more, "Neptune!" You whirl around angrily, "For the love of Neptune! Mother! Shall thou keep me from play this way forever? 'Tis how the wolves grow strong here! Dost thou not know this?!" You turn and sprint out of the lair, taking off after your friends.

Neptune raced along the trails of the seaside hills, one of the many his great-great-great grandfather had traveled years before him after leaving his mother. He was headed back to his lair to see his own mother, whom had just been successful in a hunt with his father. His stomach growled in protest, and he thought quietly, Just a few more moments. He quickened his pace a bit, hoping to reach the cave in which he lived before his stomach made anymore angry protests. When he finally reached it, he trotted inside, saying hello happily to his parents and staring hungrily at the sea caribou they had dragged from their hunt. When they didn't reply, though, he looked up with curiosity. With a surprised gasp, he leapt backward, just avoiding the ugly gnarled claws of a seaside bear. It must have been attracted to the cave and come out of hunger. Neptune grew angry, his parents had worked hard for this meal, "Get your own food you beast!" he snarled, leaping forward with pure adrenaline and leaving three claw marks in the bear's soft belly. It roared angrily and swatted at him, knocking him into the cave wall. His head spun, and everything became blurry at the edges of his vision. Yet he still got up, standing strong and brave, and sent a blow at the ugly creature that towered over him. It yowled in pain when Neptune's claws came in contact with it's nose, but then it only grew angrier. It seemed to grow larger the angrier it got, and it stalked towards Neptune with a frothing mouth and furious eyes. It had been poisoned with the foaming disease. Neptune took a step back in horror before thinking of hid parents and leaping forward again. This time, his fury made him stronger and he bashed the bear around until it could take no more and slumped to the cave floor in defeat. Neptune felt no pride in this defeat, though, and he sat, exhausted, in front of the massive creature, "Thank you." spoke a soft, clear voice. Neptune looked up to see not his mother or father, but a beautiful she-wolf. "You saved my life. That sea bear was about to kill me, but you stopped it." Netune cocked his head in question then realized this was not his lair. "I am Neara." the she-wolf continued. "And you are?" Neptune bit his lip, "Err...Neptune." he said, unable to take his eyes off of the beautiful she-wolf. "Well..." she said, looking at the sea caribou, "Would you like some?" Neptune shook his head, "I...I..I couldn't." he stuttered, suddenly shy and nervous. Neara cocked her head and narrowed her eyes a bit in a concerned way, "Well, you did save it, so you at least deserve a piece." Neptune knew he wouldn't win this, so he stepped forward to take a bite. Then he leaned back, smiling shyly at Neara, "Ok, I should really be-" "Go on, take another bite." she cut him off. They both leaned down to take a bite now, and their noses brushed each others. Now both jumped back in surprise, "Oh I-" "Sorry...I..er..." they both stammered. Their eyes locked, and they stood like this for a while, "Well," said Neptune, breaking the silence, "I guess I'll see you around?" Neara could only nod. Here, a friendship had started which would eventually lead to a lifelong partnership, "Goodbye." said Neptune, "Goodbye." Neara repeated. And so went the first day that Neptune met his mate, Neara.

Neppy's base color is a deep sea green, while his snout, left back paw, and tail are a lighter shade. His left front paw is a dark bluish-green, as his the back of his snout, his stomach, and his ears to the back of his neck. His chest and right front and back paws are white, and he has a bobtail. Neptune is very petite, but stronger than you might think. His eyes are gray.
