"Time together isn't ever quite enough
When you and I are alone, I've never felt so at home
What will it take to make or break this hint of love?
Only time, only time
When we're apart whatever are you thinking of?
If this is what I call home, why does it feel so alone?
So tell me darling, do you wish we'd fall in love?
All the time, all the time"

Story?
((After a whopping [2] requests, (In witch is enough for me,) I decided to write a story about these two :3))
[color=#0000FF]"[color=#008000]Shay, you've been living so closed up--so quiet & and shy....you need to get out and play with the other kids'....how 'bout that new boy down the street?"
"But....daddy...he looks--scary" The pup whispered the last part, looking around as if there was a ghost--or worse....Suko.
"What seems so scary about him?"
"He's got....scars!" She whispered again, looking over his shoulder and at his house out of the window.
The troubled father sighed "Maybe you should get to know him--don't judge a boo--"
"I know, I know don't judge a book by it's cover..." she mumbled, as if she'd heard it a billion times, she had in fact.
"Good to bed, sweety" The father said, kissing her quickly on the head, and walking into the next room. Shay sighed, and turned her head as if she were looking at her paws. "Goodnight, daddy" she said quietly and went into her bed, jumping in and curling up at her young masters side.
When the sun came up, she stirred a bit and then stretched, yawning and then jumped off of her young masters bed [who had already gone to whatever the humans call School.). She flicked her tail and trotted out of the room, listening to the quiet thump, thump, thump of her foot steps. "Hi, love!" Mommy said, trotting out of her and the older masters bedroom. "Your father set up a play date for you and that new pup, Suko." she said, and licking her forehead. Shay almost tripped over air, but tried not to show her nervousness. "When, mommy?" she asked, in-contently. "In about 30 minutes--get ready" The clueless mother smiled, licking her forehead once more, before going to her water bole and lapping up some water. Shay almost ran into her room, but managed a casual "jog". She jumped onto her young masters bed and thought for a moment. *What will he think of me?* she thought, panicking *What will I think of him? Will he be a scary monster--will he be what the other pups say he is??* What felt like about 30 seconds, 30 minutes past, and her mother came in, panting happily. "Time to go, sweety!" she barked, nudging her out of bed. "Okay..:" she muttered, and trotted out the door "You know where to go, good luck and have fun, hun...be back by dinner!" she called, as Shay trotted hesitantly out her yard and down the street. Once she reached the wucked looking house, 101 Maplehill dr., she shivered. As she tapped her paw on the door, a young master--like the one she lives with came to the door. "Hey, dad I think Suko's friend is here to play"
Suko lifted his head from his paws. *Friends?* he thought, puzzled, then remembered, he had a date with that blind girl--Shay . He muttered something and pulled himself off of the cement floor, and trotted to the door. He looked at his young master, saying "Blah, blah, blah, dad, blah blah blah, Suko" He sighed, then took a look at Shay. He stood there dumb founded for a moment. "Woah..." he said, amazed at her eyes and coloring of her pelt. He snapped out of it quickly, and then looked with no expression on his face, to Shay.
"Hi!" Said Shay, trying to be friendly as possible. "Hey, ah..."" Suko started "Let's go into the back yard....c'mon" He said, leading her around the house and into their yard. "Hm.....nice yard!" she said cheerfully, forgetting about her fear of him."So....your Shay...The blind girl....how'd you get like that?" he asked, sitting on his rump. His voice was a quiet, smooth one. "I was born like this!" she said proudly, not wanting to ask about his scars. She shook the thought of them out her head and then said, "How 'bout a game of tag?" she bowed down, grinning with her sharp white teeth showing. "...tag?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "You don't know what tag is? Well, it's fun! One of us is It and the other one runs from It and then if itcatches the other person, then they become it" she announced, "So, you wanna play?" not waiting for an answer she said, "Your it!!" and bounded off. Suko looked puzzled for a moment but then ran after her, not wanting to look foolish. He soon caught up to her and tackled her, "Your it!" he said, wagging his tail with his tong lolling out his mouth. She tossed him off then ran after him. They ran down a steep hill, until Shay tripped, and tumbled down "Wo-o-o-o-o-a-h-h-h-h!" she screamed, then landed on Suko. "Shay! Are you okay?" he asked, nudging her up. "Yea...." she said, twisting her paw around a few times. She looked up into his purple eyes. "Thanks for caring.."she said, quietly, shaking her pelt and trotted up the hill, a small limp in her step. "Hey...you sure? You gotta limp.." "Yes, I'm fine.." she answered, not turning around. "Maybe I just need some rest" she added, when they got to the top she lay down on a rock. "What's it like being blind?" Suko asked. Shay shrugged. "Just like the whole world is lit up--" "Lit up..?" Suko said, surprised. "Yea.." she said, a bit lost in thought. "It's like you can see something nothing but the blind can," she trailed off. Suko decided to drop the topic. "So...what's your favorite color?" he asked, "Silver" she replied. "Yours?" "Maroon.." he answered. "Cool" she nodded, rather awkwardly. "Where'ed you move from?" she asked, "Missouri" "Cool, I've always wanted to live there..." she said, wondering what it'd be like. Then out of the blue, she said,
"Suko..."
"Yes?"
"Now that I've gotten to know you better, and you don't seem so scary...why do you have so many scars?"
"Why are you blind?"
"B-...well, I was born this way...remember...?"
"Exactly."
"But..."

It's a gorgeous story, and I was going to comment on the one you posted before, but I had to go. XD Don't cry!
Have you ever read the poem Dulce et Decorum Est? It's a wonderful poem, and it's all I thought of when reading that quote.
