Background (Optional, but it gives you a better shot):
Ezra was a family pet, like all dogs. A gentle owner, an a human pup to watch. Everything was perfect until they had to move.
From Ezra's Eyes:"I Loved how you played With me, how your gentle fingers stroked me and how they sometimes poked me in the eyes. I Always watched over you, and always hoped you would do the same to me. As years went on, things changed, like the fingers in eyes, and gentle strokes. now only you pet me, or dragged me by the collar to give a cold bath. but i believed you still loved me. Days passed, and you didnt stay home as much, and i had nowhere to go. You would scold me when you came home and found my droppings and my spilt water. but i still believed you still loved me. One day you disappeared, and came back three days later, with a pup of your own. they tugged my collar with there small fingers, and kissed me on the nose, but you always tried to keep them away from me. Soon, the human pup grew older, and soon disappeared in the monsters that run on hard rodes. After that, i never got a pet from you, and you said, "Things will be better." And I believed you. One day, i had stolen your talking device and hid it somewhere, it was only playing. But you yelled at me and kicked me, and yelled over and over, "How could you." and every time you said that, i repeated it to you, Not to be mean, but to tell you, i loved you. And soon, you were once laying in bed, it was the day after you kicked me, and never said sorry.I nudged you to get up, and bring me outside to go potty, but you didnt move. i nudged you again, but nothing was said in response. I sat at the side of your bed, waiting, and believing, you would soon get up. But you never did. Your smoking sticks were every were, and i thought that could have done harm. Days passed, and you were still in bed. I had gone potty in the house, and i was starving. Suddenly the door was opened, and someone grabbed me and put me gently in a steel cage. "Its ok," The human Said. I trusted her. I was brought to a place called, "The Shelter," And found out it wasnt bad. I stayed there, and I still believe, you love me. "
