(@Lust: It's fine, I know the feeling!)
Morningstar.
She dipped her head to the others as one by one, they eventually made it. All but Amberflame. Ah, well, she would be coming along soon enough. Morningstar glanced at Ravenpaw, then Flarefoot. "As soon as Amberflame joins us, we may go. I have already told Sootface, but we will be ptrolling the easternmost edge of the territory, out by the moorland." She informed the others. Pausing, she debated something for a mmoment, her eyes flashing, before speaking again. "I have heard from a few...friends...that there has been sightings of a loose dog. We will take caution and check it out. If there is a dog, we will dispell of it." She added. She had tiptoed carefully around the word friends. For Morningstar had meant some of the loners in the area she kept in touch with, who let her know of such things. They were allies, and she liked to have ears outside the clan. But Morningstar had the feeling some clan mates might be touchy about this subkect, not wanting to trust loners. She turned to Rushwhisker, nodding again. "Ah, that is fine. Do whatever you need, but if we do find the dog, I want you out of the way, up a tree." She ordered. "I do not doubt your fighting skills, but none the less, it is ebest to have our only medicine cat kept safe for the moment." She added, so not to let Rushwhisker think she thought of her as incapable of fighting.
Skykit
She struggled away from the confines of her mother's sleeping mass. Blinking her large blue eyes, she tottered out into the sunlight, staring at the sky for a full minute before turning her head back to glance around camp. She watched silently for a few moments, her ears tipepd forwards, straining for sounds. Ah...yes....there it was. The beautiful whispering among the trees, telling her what needed to be done. Skykit padded over to the apprentices den, glancing over her shoulder to make sure no one was watching. then, steeling herself, she plunged in, winding around the nests and forms of few slumbering cats. Making her way to the back, she prodded the form of Silentpaw. "Silentpaw." She hissed. "I have to talk with you. Starclan speaks again." She had lowered her voice for only the apprentice to hear. She knew Silentpaw was one of the other cats in the prophecy. Starclan had shown her the other cats of the prophecy. And though Skykit knew Silentpaw didn't want to accept it, Silentpaw was one of the prophecy cats.
it's been a long time since I've been here. perhaps I'll stay awhile.
