Silentpaw
Silentpaw was scowling as she walked into the apprentices den. She noticed Shadepaw lying in her overshadowed nest in the back corner of the den, briefly nodded in acknowledgement, and made her way to her own nest. It was not quite as dark as Shadepaw's, but Silentpaw had strategically built it so that even on the brightest day the sun would never hit it. Hmpf, she thought, plopping down on the dry moss, realizing that soon she would have to replace it. If I'm not going on patrol, then I guess I'm not doing anything today. I'm definitely not going out into the woods. I will not listen to the voices today.

(@Lust: It's fine, I know the feeling!)

Morningstar.
She dipped her head to the others as one by one, they eventually made it. All but Amberflame. Ah, well, she would be coming along soon enough. Morningstar glanced at Ravenpaw, then Flarefoot. "As soon as Amberflame joins us, we may go. I have already told Sootface, but we will be ptrolling the easternmost edge of the territory, out by the moorland." She informed the others. Pausing, she debated something for a mmoment, her eyes flashing, before speaking again. "I have heard from a few...friends...that there has been sightings of a loose dog. We will take caution and check it out. If there is a dog, we will dispell of it." She added. She had tiptoed carefully around the word friends. For Morningstar had meant some of the loners in the area she kept in touch with, who let her know of such things. They were allies, and she liked to have ears outside the clan. But Morningstar had the feeling some clan mates might be touchy about this subkect, not wanting to trust loners. She turned to Rushwhisker, nodding again. "Ah, that is fine. Do whatever you need, but if we do find the dog, I want you out of the way, up a tree." She ordered. "I do not doubt your fighting skills, but none the less, it is ebest to have our only medicine cat kept safe for the moment." She added, so not to let Rushwhisker think she thought of her as incapable of fighting.

Skykit
She struggled away from the confines of her mother's sleeping mass. Blinking her large blue eyes, she tottered out into the sunlight, staring at the sky for a full minute before turning her head back to glance around camp. She watched silently for a few moments, her ears tipepd forwards, straining for sounds. Ah...yes....there it was. The beautiful whispering among the trees, telling her what needed to be done. Skykit padded over to the apprentices den, glancing over her shoulder to make sure no one was watching. then, steeling herself, she plunged in, winding around the nests and forms of few slumbering cats. Making her way to the back, she prodded the form of Silentpaw. "Silentpaw." She hissed. "I have to talk with you. Starclan speaks again." She had lowered her voice for only the apprentice to hear. She knew Silentpaw was one of the other cats in the prophecy. Starclan had shown her the other cats of the prophecy. And though Skykit knew Silentpaw didn't want to accept it, Silentpaw was one of the prophecy cats.

Rushwhisker nodded in response to her leader. "Understandable," she meowed with quiet breaths. "Do not want to risk more lives than we have to..." the she-cat trailed off for a moment, briefly contemplating the words she had said. "And with that," she continued. "I know you have lives to spare, but I would rather not see you waste them capriciously. You had better take a step back on the fight too, permitting that it does happen."
That was all she said. She shut her mouth, sat down, and observed the camp and her clanmates from her point of view. There were so many of them, so many cats that she held close to her heart. But then there was Flarefoot... Her head twisted just enough to capture a momentary glance at her brother. So many cats close to her heart, but not him. They were born from the same parents - they were kin - he was her brother! But, yet, the two of them were so different. She often envied some of her other clanmates, the one that actualy held close relationships with their kin. Flarefoot was the only family she had left, and the two of them were worlds apart. Knowing him, he would surely never get a mate. And Rushwhisker? She was a medicine cat; of course she could not have one. She did not think about that much, no, but it still somehow bothered her... The thought that this was her family's ending generation, and nothing more would come. She heaved a heavy sigh.

Morningstar.
She glanced at her medicine cat, allowing only a brief smile. "Ah, I insist, we must be careful, yes. But there will, and have been, sacrifices for this clan. It is the way of a warrior, Rushwhisker. To pledge to be a warrior, a cat therefore pledges their allegience with the clan code and with me, just as a medicine cat pledges alligience with Starclan." Her voice was quiet as she spoke. It didn't insist upon her being right, just telling her medicine cat that that was truly what a warrior pledged; to die for the clan if it need be. She smiled. She trusted Rushwhisker above all, knowing Starclan had chosen her as medicine cat. Morningstar trusted Starclan's decision, and therefore trusted Rushwhisker with her life. There were few cats in the clan in whom Morningstar did fully trust. So it was rare to be true friends with the leadder. Though a friend to all, she was still gaurded, only letting her true side show to her most trusted allies. Like it had been so with Snowclaw, until his untimely demise.

Silentpaw
Silentpaw grumbled as Skykit prodded her side. Can't a cat get a moment's peace around here? she thought grumpily. Between Skykit, training, and this prophecy stuff, I'll never be able to rest! Silentpaw glared at Skykit. "What?!" she hissed, more angrily than she had anticipated, regretting it almost the instant the word left her mouth. She shook her head a moment later. She didn't need to regret it. She wanted no part of this prophecy. She just wanted to serve her clan. "And I'm guessing you don't want to talk in here," she said softly, glancing over at Shadepaw's black figure in the far edge of the den.

((I'm thinking of making a pregnant queen. Would that be alright? She would probably be Sootface's sister...))

(That's fine. Just once the kits are born make forms for them :3 )

Skypaw
She swiveled her head to also look at the dark outline of Shadepaw's figure. "No. But I do know where we can. Follow me." She placed her intimidating gaze back on SIlentpaw, staring at her for a moment, before whiping around and prowling out of the apprentices den. She sat down just outside, beginning to give herself a clean as she waited for her clanmate to emerge. Her sky blue eyes roamed the camp, watching each cat for a few moments of mild interest, before moving on to other sights.

Amberflame

Quickly, the light she-cat proceeded to the group of cats Morningstar had called down. She kept her head down in embarrassment, and kept to the back of the group. She has been asleep for she had gotten little rest the night before. Only later after she had awaken did she realize what was up, and now felt her cheeks getting hotter by the second with shame. "Sorry I'm late.." She mewed in an apologetic tone

Morningstar.
She turned to face the warrior. With a twinkle in her eye, the she-cat laughed. "It's quite alright. I know how most feel about the early morning patrols." She smiled at Amberflame. Turning to face everyone, she glanced around. "Righty-o, so we've got Sootface, Amberflame and her apprentice Ravenpaw, and Flarefoot. Everyone set?' She paused for the briefest moment, glancing around. Then, with a whirl, she turned and started towards the camp entrance, out into the forest. She called back over her shoulder as they left. "Now remember, everyone be on alert. We don't know much about the dog, if it's still there." She cautioned, turning her head back to glance around the forest.

At the call to depart, Rushwhisker took up a position beside her leader. Morningstar had turned away and left before Rushwhisker could notice, but hearing her leader's last words, the medicine cat swiveled around and followed close behind.
With a hop, she placed herself at Morningstar's side and drew her paws rhythmically forward two by two, synchronizing her steps with the other she-cat. It was better that she walk up here; Morningstar was the leader of the patrol and would know the best decisions to make if trouble arose, so she was the safest to stand by. She was also a good conversationalist, too, especially considering Rushwhisker's point of view, from where not too many others were spoken to on a daily basis.
And on the contrary, her brother was taking up the back of the group. He always remained at the far end of the patrol, whether it was because of laziness or because he felt he could perform his duties better as a caboose. It did not matter to Rushwhisker; he was behind her, and she could now keep an acceptably fair distance from him.
Freezing leaves cracked under the medicine cat's paws; Morningstar was obviously able to tell that the she-cat was right behind her without even turning her head. "Hey," she said, her presumably familiar voice verifying for the leader which cat walked with her. "Decided to take up the front of the patrol with you, as I assumed things may be easier for the both of us that way. And keeping the warnings of the dog in mind, I will be extra vigilant when trailing off to collect my herbs."
