History:
Prophecy of the StarWolves:
A wolf will fall from the heavens, bright as a star and blue as the sea. He will light your way for eternity.
One cold winter night in December, the StarWolf pack was migrating to the North Pole. The journey would take several weeks, so they got an early start to get there before the winter solstice.
Aurora is walking next to her mate, leaning against him for support. She is heavily pregnant with her seventh pup, for she is as old as the stars themselves. She has swirls and waves of many shades of grey and brown on her coat, just like the northern lights in blues, greens, and yellows. Her full pack name is Aurora Borealis. Her mate's name is Arctic Drift, and he has fur the color of snow and ice.
As the pack treks through the bare, snow covered fields of the North, the clouds part above them and the wind suddenly stops. The wolves could see every star in the sky, including one that seemed to get bigger and bigger by the second. When a small wolf finally recognized what it was, it was too late for Aurora. The meteor fell on her and pinned her underneath it. A strange glowing light was emitting from the underside of the space rock. The other wolves were too frightened to come out of hiding and take a look, but Arctic was at Aurora's side within a few seconds. Arctic persuaded the pack to come and help him pull his mate out, and when they did, Aurora realized that she had given birth, and the pup was still under the meteor. Arctic managed to get him out. The pup was as blue as the dark waves in the Arctic Ocean, and he had a birthmark in the shape of the brightest star on his side. Aurora named him Northstar because the falling star had come from the north, her home.
Aurora turned out to be ok, but the pup had a different result. He would stay a half-grown wolf for the rest of his life. This was fine for the whole pack, because the prophecy had come true. A wolf as bright as the brightest star and as blue as the bluest sea had fallen fom the heavens, and would light their way.
Hope you like it!
Thank you, this would be my 2nd this week.
